I can thoroughly recommend house-sitting for Janet. Her beautiful home in the stunning Bad Ischl is a relaxing haven. Her animals are very easy to care for. Walking Diggory and Reg, her two active dogs, through the peaceful forest backing onto her house was something to look forward to each day, as were bedtime snuggles with her two cats, Milli and Jane. Janet is a sweet, caring lady who left everything in perfect order for us to have a comfortable stay. The house-sitters room is a lovely self-contained space where we felt completely at home, as well as having the rest of the house to enjoy. Bad Ischl is a beautiful little town with plenty to see and do. There are also numerous opportunities to explore the surrounding area (which is just stunning!) I can highly recommend house-sitting for Janet and I hope we have the opportunity to return one day.
I had the loveliest stay for Dewi and Alessandro! What a beautiful apartment and great location, I felt very safe staying there alone. Cacao and Sara were such loving cats and just wanted to snuggle often! I loved that their kitty litter was outside and so easy to clean! The turtles were a treat as well even though they didn’t need any care it was fun to see them every day! The communication was clear and they were so generous! I’d Definately recommend this sit and stay again! Thank you!
It was an absolute joy sitting with Cody at Jae and Jeff's magnificent Santa Barbara home!! Jae and Jeff were generous and gracious hosts who welcomed us into their home with open arms and very helpful notes. Their attentive and thoughtful communication throughout our stay was most appreciated, and truly enhanced our sit with Cody; and our overall Santa Barbara experience as well! Cody was a dream; everyday, in every way! He was the perfect, and enthusiastic, travel companion. He made each and every excursion out and about more enjoyable and memorable. Our time with Cody was time well spent, and as I've written above, an absolute joy!! We wholeheartedly recommend a stay with Jae, Jeff, and Cody; and we would jump at the chance to stay with them again in a heartbeat!!
We had a fabulous time looking after the 'boys' Polo and Luke and a few plants at 'Alice's' house. Alice and her family were so accommodating, we felt at home right from the start. The boys, two lovely cats that were super friendly and cuddly, were a breeze to look after. The house is perfectly placed for day trips to London and the Kent area, including the surf coast. The garden is a beautiful place to relax .The communication with Alice was very easy she answered my questions very quickly we would highly recommend, applying for the opportunity to look after this beautiful home and the easy going cats.
A very enjoyable sit with Jeremy and Alice and their delightful wire-haired dachshund Pip. A very thorough and relaxed introduction to the property from Jeremy followed by a weekend sit with Pip. Very manageable and a delightful dog and location.
Grant and Paula are thoughtful, warm, great communicators, kind, and overall very nice people. We felt completely welcomed from beginning to end, and very much at home in their unique, comfortable, and functional home. In addition to a meet and greet and orientation the day before our sit, they left detailed and helpful instructions and house/pet sitter info. Their dogs are a delight! All of them are just as sweet as they can be and love to be cuddled. We always had one or two snuggled next to us while watching TV and Ruby on the bed with us at night. (We loved it as much as she did!) They are well-behaved, mind well, and were a joy to be around. The "girls," Hazel and Ruby loved their walks and do wonderfully on a leash, with no problems at all! Rulon, the tortoise, was just experimenting with coming out of hibernation. We enjoyed him although he wasn't quite as entertaining as the dogs. :) I recommend Grant and Paula and their 4-legged crew very highly!
