Janice left the house clean and communicated daily with me about Tope but I think this sit was a little difficult for her. Quite a few neighbors mentioned Tope was out on the beach and parking lot alone quite often and brought her home. I do make sure sitters understand that she is a high energy 1.5 year old pup that needs attention and we live 212 steps down on a beach, so not an easy job. I appreciate that this is a free service but maybe a older less energetic dog would be a better match.
Doug and Judy were awesome sitters! They came in the night before we left and went over Boudreaux's routine and the property in general. They are professional, courteous, friendly and conscientious , even taking notes as we walked around the house and property. They sent daily updates along with pictures of Boudreaux and it became obvious they really cared for him. They even washed their sheets and towels, so we did not have to do a thing when we returned. We would love to have them back again and would highly recommend them to anyone responsible to take care of their pets and home.
This is the second time I have sat for Beth and Lee, and like my first review, this is an ideal oasis to relax. The property is beautiful and peaceful. Zeus is a great dog, an easy amble around the property twice a day will keep him happy. Xena stays in the back yard, lets you know when to top up her food. Beth and Lee are very welcoming. I highly recommend this sit and look for it when I feel I need time away to relax in a beautiful environment.
We had a beautiful time at Lisa’s and Richard’s place. Their pets are very lovely and their dog Bowie is the perfect dog to walk in the mountains, which are just next door. We felt in love with this place and we would definitely take care about their house and pets again.
Afton and Trevor, Thank you for allowing us to come sit for Rufio. He was such a loving and well behaved dog. We fell in love with him and hated to leave. Your home is beautiful and relaxing. You are lucky to live in a mountain paradise. So much to see and do in the Tetons. We would be happy to come back any time. Cheers, Julie and Aaron
I arrived in David, Panama, very tired after a long journey. Cheryl & Bill collected me & we drove to Alto Boquete. After a short nap. They showed the property to me & told me everything that I needed to know. They then took me out into Boquete for a nice dinner & a chance to chat, which was very enjoyable. Their home is very quiet & peaceful with a really nice garden full of tree & plants which attract some wonderful birds. They have feeders for the many humming birds & put out fruit which atracts so many other incredible looking birds to the tables. The area offers many fine views of the mountains & the lower temeperature was a pleasant change after being very hot at sea level for the previous month. The real star of the show is their mini Aussie sheepdog, Buddy. He was with me from the time I arrived until I left (a real "velcro" dog) & I fell in love with him. I have looked after so many terrific pets over the years but I cannot remember a nicer dog than Buddy. Cheryl & Bill took him in as a rescue but he is so smart, calm, friendly, attentive, loyal & has a terrific personality. He is just a joy to have around & just wants to tag along werever you go. Panamanian people are a little wary of dogs but everywhere we went, people wanted to say hello to Buddy. I truly enjoyed this house & pet sit & would jump at a chance to return. Lovely people, great home & location & a wonderful little dog. Simply an excellent experience.
It was a pleasure to sit for Carolyn and Jamahl. Their home is newly renovated, comfortable with every amenity you will need. As for their adorable pets; the birds were very happy and easy to deal with but the dogs were a delight. Sweet friendly and easily managed. They’re happy to spend as much time with you as you want without being over the top. All in all for my first sit I am very happy. Thanks Carolyn and Jamahl.
I had a great experience house-sitting for Rachel. The house and is spacious and comfortable. The cats are sweet and communicative, and Lila is a lively, fun and very affectionate dog—I was sad to say goodbye.
