I had a lovely time housesitting for Mary. Her place has a real wow factor—very beautiful west coast chalet vibe with big fireplace in living room and two wood burning stoves to supplement heat in winter. Her property is gorgeous as well! Mary is very nice and easy to communicate with. She went above and beyond to make sure my stay would be comfortable. Reggie the cat has the nicest life of any cat I’ve known! He is very affectionate and actually likes to be hugged. It was hard to leave him, but he’s definitely in his happy place. Being on Saltspring in December was quite fun since there were multiple Christmas fairs and markets to attend. Ganges is a very cute town only a 10 minute drive from Mary’s and has everything you’d need.
We had a wonderful time looking after Ziggy in Asaya's beautiful home. Asaya and her family gave us a very warm and friendly welcome when we arrived. We were given lots of information on Ziggy and the home. Communication with Asaya was excellent throughout our stay. Ziggy is absolutely adorable. He enjoys his walks, cuddles and playing. The house is surrounded by beautiful countryside. There are some lovely walks from the house and good walks a short drive away. It was easy to walk Ziggy, he has very good recall. We loved looking after Ziggy and we are very much looking forward to house sitting for Asaya again.
Heidi and Pej are a very welcoming and organized couple. They walked me through everything upon arrival. Their flat is spacious, modern, and very well located. They even left me a cute note and a red wine as a welcome gift! Luna & Dumdum will steal your heart. Luna is cuddly from the very first minute while dumdum takes his time to be around and is veeery food motivated. Once he trusted me, he became my teddybear and was always on me. I really got to love both of then so much! Would be super happy to take care of them again. 100% recommend this sit.
This was our first sit with THS and we were not disappointed. Rachel and Brett couldn't have made us more welcome in their beautiful home. We travelled up the day before and we were treated to a lovely dinner. Their lodge is spotlessly clean and tastefully furnished and the beds were really comfortable. There is plenty to do in the surrounding area and The Highland Wildlife Park is only a 10 minute drive away as is Aviemore and the Speyside Steam Railway. Percy is the loveliest friendliest cat and was a pleasure to look after and no trouble at all and loved to come say hello first thing in the morning and sit on our laps. We would definitely recommend sitting for Rachel and Brett and the wonderful Percy and hope that we will get the opportunity to go back.
House sitters this was a very easy sit with the cutest shitzu babies. The owner was very welcoming and the home was very comfortable and clean. Don’t pass this one up.
We had a wonderful experience sitting for Paul. Communication with Paul was great, and he clearly identified the needs of his pets which made for a pleasant visit. We had a very relaxing time and enjoyed their loving home. My wife fell in love with their sweet cat Squid. Great location, beautiful views and easy access to restaurants and stores.
