Kate and Kara’s home on the Saint Simons Island is a truly magical place. We spent a week there, taking care of their two beautiful cats, Liam and Fiona. The kitties quickly warmed up to us and were a pleasure to be around: they are very gentle, loving, clean, gracious, curious, and friendly. The house is very charming and it directly overlooks the water. There is a lot to see and do on Saint Simons Island and the nearby Jekyll Island: beaches, miles of bike paths, a turtle rescue center, a water park, an old fort, and plenty of colonial history. Our hosts provided abundant information and were great with communication, which gave us piece of mind even with a storm arriving. We’d definitely housesit for Kate and Kara again, and take care of their sweet kitties. Thank you for a wonderful week!
We loved our stay with Sunshine! Marie was easy to communicate with and provided all the necessary details about her home and caring for Sunshine. They were very welcoming and made us feel right at home. We enjoyed hanging out and cuddling with Sunshine in the beautiful backyard and warm, comfortable home. They live in a quiet neighborhood close to the beach and many restaurants. We had an extra bonus of seeing the 4th of July fireworks just behind their home. We would love another stay with sweet Sunshine!
We thoroughly enjoyed our sit for Fiona and Pete, they were extremely generous, the house so beautiful and spotless. Loki is such a fun and affectionate dog a real pleasure to be with. We are so looking forward to sitting for them again in September.
I very much enjoyed looking after Charlie for a week while his family went on vacation. Charlie is so cute, I fell for him as soon as I saw him. He loves attention and, most of all, food. He's always eager to go for walks, especially around the lake that is literally 100 metres away from the house. It was a perfect spot for walks, and having a dog made a good conversation starter with other dog owners who were all very friendly. The house iself is lovely, sunny, confortable and warm. Nick and Béatrice are a lovely couple, and their children, Joseph and Anna, were very welcoming. I can only recommend this sit.
We recently had the pleasure of house-sitting for Jenny and Richard who made our experience incredibly enjoyable. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly and made to feel right at home. Their house was impeccably clean and tidy, which immediately set a comfortable tone for our stay. The real stars of the show, though, were Tillie and Zelda, and, of course, Frida! They were remarkably well-behaved, making our responsibilities as sitters much easier. Each had their own unique charm and personality, and it was clear they were well-loved and cared for. Their trust and hospitality made our first sitting experience smooth and worry-free. Overall, it was a pleasure to stay in such a warm and inviting home, surrounded by such well-mannered pets. I would not hesitate to sit for them again and would recommend them to anyone looking for a fantastic house-sitting experience.
Trish's home was lovely. Puma is a ball of energy who loves to snuggle, play catch, and explore. I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her. However, for future sitters, I would advise being alert, always keeping her leashed during walks; she has a tendency to bolt, and she's a quick walker. Also, be cautious when opening doors, as she's prone to dart out. Overall, my experience house and pet sitting for Trish was great. I highly recommend their services to anyone seeking a responsible and caring individual to look after their home and pets.
