Marisol was prompt and friendly and immediately got along well with George. She kept me updated with a daily text with picture or video. Our house was very clean and tidy when we got home, and George was happy! Would welcome her back in future.
Mary is a wonderful host! She was communicative, generous and accomodating. She offered to pick us up at the train station and insisted we treat her beautiful home like it was ours, eat whatever we wanted, use whichever bedroom, etc. She made us feel right at home. The star of the show is Queen Sonya!!! Absolute perfection. Well behaved, so affectionate and sweet. She has great recall and it was so fun to take her on walking adventures in the nearby bog and explore with her. Mary wrote little handouts for us and gave us the helpful warnings we needed which was be careful when Sonya's on her lead with other dogs who aren't on a lead or when there's a bus, she'll bark or want to go after the bus, but very easily handed with a tight grip on the lead. Sonya is a dream to dogsit. I already miss her and can't wait to come back again for our second sit. She also got along with our pup Robi so well. Sonya is the best! And the house is stunning, clean and cozy, with a nice garden for the dogs to play in. The pictures truly don't do it justice. And the fireplace was such a cozy touch. Mary showed us how to make a fire in it before we left! I can't recomment Mary and Sonya enough. Thank you so much for trusting us, Mary!
Kipper and Poppy are the sweetest and happiest dogs. Kipper is beautiful and playful. Poppy looks at you with serious eyes but she quickly wags her tail to let you know she is happy. It was delightful sitting them. We enjoyed walking them daily in the perfect San Diego climate. We also enjoyed sitting and playing with them in their beautiful home and comfortable backyard. It’s so smart and cute how they both use their paws to let you know that they want to be petted. They are both such good dogs. Rachel and Richie are great people. They were available to answer questions we had. Their home in beautiful San Diego is close to wonderful beaches, shopping, and great restaurants. This was an outstanding sitting opportunity and one of the best. We would feel fortunate to be able do it again.

I LOVED sitting for Jennifer. Besides Jennifer welcoming me into her home and her furry kiddos, here kiddos were so loving and fun to have keep me company as I acquainted myself with Nashville area (where I decided to land and live).
This was our first sit on TrustedHousesitters and it was the perfect fit. Since we live in San Juan, we figured the two and a half hour drive to Rincón was the obvious choice to gain some sitting experience not far from home. Nathan made the transition easy by meeting us with Copper at our place before he left. The instructions were easy, and Copper didn’t take long to warm up to us. After a couple of days, we learned all about his love for hunting crabs on the beach, and his curious interest in the local cows. He is a great dog with a hilariously dynamic personality. We made sure he got out of the house at least three to four times a day so he could walk and do his business. The neighborhood is easily walkable, and Copper loves strolls on the beach. Nathan’s apartment is comfortable, and the air conditioning is great on a hot day - which is most days in PR. There’s a shared pool at the condo, but we never took advantage of it. Rincón is an eclectic town with lots of expats and beautiful beaches. The sunsets are the best, and there are plenty of nearby spots to grab a drink or a bite to eat. The local food coop is great and is only a few minutes away by car. We were lucky to have the opportunity to care for Copper on our first sit. He’ll always let you know if he needs anything, and he’s a lot of fun when he get excited about something. Communication with Nathan was easy and we would definitely sit for him again.
Lauryn and Kyle are a great young couple who you can tell genuinely love their pups. We were honored to be asked to watch Titus, Dragon and Tsaile for them. Their home is warm and welcoming, and had everything we needed to be comfortable. All 3 of the dogs are great fun and sweet. Titus and Dragon took about a day to get to know us, but once they did you couldn’t keep them away, lol. Tsaile is the youngest and is full of energy. So are Titus and Dragon once they get going. They loved to surround us on the couch at night while we watched tv. Lauryn and Kyle were very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend this sit if you get the chance. It was hard to say goodbye. Thanks again Lauryn and Kyle for trusting us with your pups!
