We had the good fortune to be chosen for this pet sit. It was our first time pet sitting horses and it could not have been a better experience. They were very sweet animals and actually very easy to care for. They loved us and would come running to us whenever we came outside. We did spoil them a little with carrots or apples once a day, and other than feeding them, they were carefree. The dog, Riley, was just a joy. He is almost human, you can see it in his eyes! He is a very special dog and we will miss him very much. The house is just beautiful and was a pleasure to stay in, not to mention the views!!!! Thanks Elisabeth and Irv!
I really enjoyed cat sitting for Ollie and Walnut!! Two fun, sweet cats that kept me entertained when I was working or relaxing at the house. This was a great house sit because the house was clean, in a great area of Berkeley, and the cats were amazing to watch!
Wonderful place to stay. Tia is a very sweet pup and Ivan was a favorite with all his personality! Something we appreciated about the house was the stocked kitchen. Blender, instapot, air fryer, kitchenaid... And the location is perfect. The mulkiteo lighthouse and cute downtown was fantastic and a ferry to whidbey Island departs there as well. Other beaches just 5-15 min away. And it's always wonderful to meet and interact with great people like the McCauleys :).
I had a lovely time at Duncan's with Theo and Hugo. Communication with Duncan was very easy. Duncan's home is really comfy and quiet. Theo began with a snooze on my suitcase which was really cute. He took the time to have lots of cuddles with me. Hugo was a little bit more wary but I expect he would have warmed up had I stayed longer. They are both really sweet and handsome boys. I'd be happy to repeat this sit.
I had a wonderful time on this sit with the adorable Teddy and Daisy - 5 gold stars each! I met Karen, Neil and the doggies beforehand and was also invited to their home for a pre-visit (and lunch, thank you) to meet the doggies as it was to be their first time. With these meet-ups, and plenty of communication beforehand, including the excellent Welcome Pack and videos, I felt they had covered everything. We were also in touch throughout the sit. Thank you for the warm welcome to your lovely, comfortable home, Karen and Neil. Teddy and Daisy are both very affectionate, loving and playful. We had great fun playing together indoors when the weather wasn't so good and out at the dog-play field I was able to let them loose and check on their 'recall' - excellent. They are both very intelligent with such cute characters and personalities with sweet mannerisms. After that we had lots of adventures together on various walks through woodland, fields, by the canal etc (they got wet, muddy and loved their bath-time afterwards). Both walk well on the lead when necessary and were really good when I went for lunch in a pub or café, getting plenty of praise from the staff and other customers. Although reluctant to climb into the car, once in Teddy loved it as did Daisy, looking out of the windows and sniffing the air when I put them down a bit. Highlights of our week were taking them on the Embsay Heritage Railway and to the beach at St Anne's - memories I'll treasure forever! Loved every moment of my time with them and hope to be back in the future, with maybe some met-ups in between. Missing them already!
