I cannot believe I got such a wonderful pet sitter . Totally reliable from start to finish with excellent communication. My senior dog absolutely adored her and am sure he didn’t notice we were gone . The house was left in excellent order and the dog was clearly cared for and loved . I just wish Kristen was located nearer as I would use every time . I hope our paths cross again in the future . Thank you Kristen and wish you all the best . Highly recommend Kristen .

It was a fantastic sit. We had a good communication with Siobhan and David before and during our sit. And of course with there lovely cats Milo and Tara. Who were both cats with an own carracter. That we like. After an easy start they let us into there daily live. Milo needs injections insuline because he has diabetes. He is a sweet cat who accepted us to give the vacinations.
David made us real nice meal when we arrived. And both Siobhan and David made us feel comfortable.
We enjoyed staying in there house and garden. Of course we went to the Sea side and visit Hastings with the old town of Hastings.
Siobhan and David give us good advise about the surroundings.
We can say that's a joy to be a trusted house and pet sit with Siobhan, David, Milo & Tara. So if you got a chance to do a sit with Milo and Tara... DO🎉 We certainly will do it again.👍

It was a great experience. The family is very friendly and it’s easy to take care of Poppy, she is a very lovely dog.

We enjoyed a lot to spend a few days with Poppy.

The house is warm, quiet and comfortable and closed to the university and the centre of the city. There ara a lot of facilities around.

Martina and Donald were really close to us and friendly, they helped us for some stuff we had to do in Glasgow and they given us useful advices. We really loved the family, they are amazing. We hope to see them again. Best place to stay, for sure, in Glasgow. 🤗

Bailey and Lua are the sweetest companions and adventure seekers to hang out with. They are playful, super easy to be with and just the most loving friends! Loved our long walks, trips around the city and evening cuddles at home.

Nicole’s comfortable home is a perfect spot to experience Seattle. Its access to transit, parks and restaurants had me enjoy the neighborhood a lot. Nicole was an amazing and communicative host throughout my stay. Appreciated how she was helpful and generously shared her home and fur babies. Would love to visit again if I had the chance :)

My husband and I enjoyed our housesit for Karl & Clarissa in Charleston! They were flexible about our arrival even though it was after they departed for their trip that morning. Before the sit, we received helpful videos about feeding time and written instructions with pictures for the cats, the house, and even the automated litter box. The Welcome Guide was also thorough and I referenced all of this information since the "hand-off" wasn't in person. When we arrived, both Lala and Ravioli were very accepting of us even though we were strangers in their home and they bonded quickly.

Karl and Clarissa's home was clean and our bed was very comfortable. The area of James Island is beautiful and their neighborhood is quiet and safe. There is a Publix right down the road and Walmart is a short drive as well. We spent a lot of time on the front porch and Lala and Ravioli sometimes joined us. They love to be outside and the cat door is automated by their collars, locking at night so they can't go out. We usually found Lala inside the house during the day, requesting belly rubs, play time, brushing, and attention of any kind. Ravioli is a little more aloof but still friendly and accepting of a chin scratch. Neither cat jumps on the kitchen counter or does other mischievous things some cats do...they are very chill and calm. At night, Lala sometimes slept on the bed between us for a while and Ravioli stayed in another part of the house.

Clarissa has many plants inside the house, on the front porch, and throughout the yard. They are beautiful, especially to people like us who really enjoy plants and the outdoors. Since our sit was only for a few days, we did not need to water them but enjoyed the ambiance they provided. Karl was responsive to texts and was communicative prior to the sit as well. We felt comfortable and welcome in their home. Karl and Clarissa were very accommodating, allowing us to leave before they arrived home so we could get on the road to our next destination. The downside is that we never had the opportunity to meet them in person, but the video call we had prior to the sit made us feel like we were already friends. Lala and Ravioli are easy to love and it was difficult to leave when our sit came to an end. We highly recommend this sit!

Deana
What a beautiful sit, one of our best yet. Deana and Tim are a wonderful couple, and were very organised but also relaxed. They left great instructions and responded well when we needed to contact them. Mara, a Rhodesian ridgeback is so gentle, well trained and laid back, we really enjoyed her company. Mercury the python was no trouble. A beautiful and comfy house in a beautiful setting we really enjoyed staying in this little utopia.

This was our 15th sit with THS and it made us think about exactly what makes an assignment really special and deserving of a truly genuine 5* rating.
We now ask ourselves whether we would swap our own lives, our home and circumstances for the sit as a whole; would we happily live in the house, love the pet and enjoy the local area? We reason that if the answer is yes, then it therefore had to be an excellent house-sit because all our standards and requirements have been met and/or exceeded.
This yardstick is certainly applicable to Roz and Jeremy's lovely home and the adorable moppet that is Cleo the Cavapoo.
We were welcomed like special guests the evening before Roz and Jeremy's early departure the next morning. They were very attentive to any questions we had, which were not many because their "Welcome Guide" is comprehensive and their pre-sit communication excellent. Roz showed us the best local walks for Cleo and her easy care routine.
Their home is squeaky clean, sitters are provided with a very pleasant en-suite bedroom with a large comfy bed. There is plenty of storage in both bedroom and kitchen spaces, ample parking, pleasant living areas to sit and watch TV or cuddle Cleo while keeping warm by one of the wood burners. The kitchen has all appliances necessary for cooking anything & everything (we had our Christmas dinner there).
Although we had our car, it didn't go anywhere except to the shops in East Wittering once. We don't know anything about local public transport but we could have managed a week here with only walkable access to the local village shop and a couple of eateries. Dog walking is terrific along the beach and interesting coastline of West Wittering and Cleo loves her local walks.
Cleo is a lovable little girl, very affectionate and playful. She must be kept on the lead near traffic dangers but loves a free run on the safety of the sandy beach. As sitters more accustomed to larger dogs, it was a treat just to be able to pick her up to carry her over a muddy patch or plonk her into the boot-room sink to rinse her paws, all of which she accepts without demur. She loves to play with squeaky toys and is very funny if she sees an animal on TV. Be prepared for lots of requests to cuddle up on your lap; it's doggie heaven!
So, to sum up: Do not hesitate to apply for this sit (unless we want to, in which case please don't!!)
