Nikky and Johnny made us very welcome and we felt totally at home from the start. Communication was relaxed and easy throughout. It has been a real pleasure to spend time with Dennis in this beautiful part of Northumberland. If you enjoy the company of a well behaved friendly dog, access to miles of golden beaches, big skies, an ever changing seascape and a warm, comfortable home then this is the sit for you. We feel extremely fortunate to have been invited to look after Dennis who has been the perfect companion. We would have no hesitation about returning.
We really enjoyed catsitting Lemon for Fran and Anna. The day before the week-long sit, we came over to their home for a few hours to learn Lemon's food, play, and litter habits and meet this marvellous little cat. We have never met such a playful 13-year-old cat and had lots of intense playtime with various strings she chased and ripped to shreds. Lemon also enjoyed sitting on our laps to play games or watch TV. Most nights she slept in the bed with us after prepping it with some fresh biscuits. We also worked and Lemon was an excellent coworker. She didn't shed but enjoyed her brushies. Her zoomies are intense and a great source of entertainment as she's skilled at parkour. Upon Lemon's request, we also took her out in her harness into the apartment's hallway to sing the song of her people down the staircase and once downstairs outside where she chomped on a piece of grass and promptly decided it was too cold. Fran and Anna made us feel very welcome, leaving some closet space for us and putting clean sheets on the bed for us despite their early departure. When we arrived, the apartment was very clean and tidy. Coordination and communication was very easy and pleasant with them. There's a bus stop right out the door that has a bus going into Tallinn center every 7 minutes. There are some great forested hiking paths out the door and the wonderful Glehni Park. Several restaurants deliver food to the area and there are also fun markets (Nõmme and Mustamäe) a walk away. We never went to the nearest supermarket because we always brought back food from supermarkets in Tallinn center. We wholeheartedly recommend this housesit. We'll miss Lemon, her antics, and her all-black whiskers except for one.
We loved our three weeks with Blue!! Even at 18, Blue is completely healthy and so easy to look after. He loves snuggles, playing with his toys, cozying up in bed with you, and following you around to see what you're up to. He has so much personality and we're going to miss seeing this adorable guy every day. Tom and Kim are so welcoming and feel like friends. They have a beautiful home with a great view, and you can even explore the trails just a few mins down the road. We hope to be back soon!!
Sally and Lukas are two wonderful individuals and their cats Rigo and Zoe are a joy to care for. Ottensen is an adorable little town, a short 15 minute walk from the flat to all the local shops, restaurants and buses/trains. We did not spend a significant amount of time in the city centre of Hamburg, as we stayed over the Christmas holiday and spent most time locally, however, our visits to the city were easily and quickly navigated from the local train station. Sally and Lukas were even kind enough to take us to the local Christmas market during our stay, the night before their departure. Their home is extremely comfortable and has everything one could need. We certainly recommend their sit to anyone when it is available.
A very safe and secure gated apartment building, close to a bus-stop and tube to central London. Frodo is a very nice and friendly cat who doesn't need too much attention, just regular feeding and the usual cat-care. Raphael and his wife were friendly and welcoming, and it was a pleasure to flat-sit for them.
The pets were so well behaved. We had Banksy for the first time without J&E and he was super great. The cats loved pets and some attention as well. J&E were very welcoming and they gave us a full look around with instructions. It was an absolutely amazing time.
