Dog Sitters in Corscombe

It was a real pleasure to have John house-sit for us for a week over Christmas. He was completely undaunted by our collection of dogs, cats and chickens and we were able to leave everything in his very capable hands and enjoy our holiday. We returned to a spotlessly clean and tidy house and happy animals (thank you John!).

5 star pet care for the two dogs of mine that she looked after! Thank you Diana for your diligence, especially with Pip. It is not so easy to find someone who understands how to look after older dogs. I also appreciate your flexibility in changing circumstances with one of my dogs passing recently - which meant the arrangements for your sit were slightly altered. Thank you for your flexibility.

Matthew and his family were very kind and considerate house guests. They looked after the house and animals very well and posted lovely photos ( professional almost) whilst we were away. The girls were very attentive to the animals and caused no noticeable destruction ( something my youngest daughter was worried about). There were a few hiccups ( Aga went out), but they took this with good grace, negotiated the slightly complicated hot water system and were receptive to the Aga man coming a few days later. The little gestures count like the thank you plant, and tidy house on return. I would have no hesitation in recommending them as future Housesitters.

Caroline and Joe were excellent, reliable house sitters. We felt very secure leaving Bella and the house in their hands. Bella was well and happy when we arrived home. The house was clean and tidy with everything in its place. They are very friendly and easy to get on with. We have no hesitation in recommending them and would be very happy to have them back anytime!

Lovely couple, Robyn and George have taken great care of the cats and house whilst we were away. Thank you for all the photos and leaving the house tidy. Highly recommended

Isabella is a lovely person. She is kind, respectful, conscientious, trustworthy and loves animals. She looked after Lola really well, even helping with her training. She also did a lovely job of looking after my house. I would highly recommend Isabella for a sit with or without pets.

They are the most wonderful couple who have been to our house several times. The house is immaculate when they leave. Our dog has the best time with them and is now very fond of them.

Alison is friendly, organised, and reliable. We had a video call with her before the sit, she arrived the day before we left to go through all of the cat's needs and she sent us daily updates. Our three cats were comfortable with Alison within a few hours which helped us to relax before leaving.

It was an absolute pleasure having Jasmine sit for us. Great communication from the start, lovely updates and photos of the boys (who clearly had a lovely time as they werent that bothered when we got back!) The house was immaculate when we returned. Nicola and Jason were awesome pet and house sitters! Our mini-poodle Welli liked them right away, which says a lot. He can be very picky about new people, but immediately took to them when they arrived. They kept the house tidy, watered our plants, and took great care of our little dog. They took Wells with them on hikes and gave him lots of love and snuggles. We came home to neat and clean house. We highly recommend Nicola and Jason for anyone who needs a trusted house and petsitter.

From our first video call we felt Lucy would be easy to communicate with, flexible, able to take our situation/requirements on board without issue, and someone we could trust. These initial feelings were reinforced once we met and during her sit. We agreed she should come a couple of days before we departed so we could show her round the neighbourhood and explain the details of the house and pets. We left confident that our house and pets would be well looked after, and this definitely proved the case. Unfortunately Lucy developed a cold on arrival and was certainly under the weather initially though she did not let this interfere. Lucy did a great job of looking after Jake and our new cat Simba, demonstrating a great love and care for them, soon winning the affection and confidence of both. Simba,being in part feral, has always been vary wary of any strangers and immediately disappears as soon as anyone calls round, but even before we left Lucy had gained his trust. We also lent Lucy our L200 truck, having put her on the insurance, and this was also well looked after. Lucy did encounter some issues with the internet and other minor problems, but via phone calls Lucy was able to explain the problem and I to provide a solution which Lucy had the technical ability to understand and thus resolve the issues. She kept in regular contact with frequent photos/videos of what the pets were up to and did a good job of looking after the house, even sweeping up the copious amounts of leaves that had fallen. It was a pleasure to have her stay, we wish her all the best in her future travels, and hope she will come and sit again sometime in the future. We have no hesitation in recommending her.

Sarah was a rather fabulous pet sitter. She genuinely loved the animals and made Roo the dog in particular very happy. She took her on long varied walks, took time to get to know her and shared some of their adventures with me. She fussed over the Ragdoll cats and gave them a brush. On top of this she left the house clean and tidy, which is what you want when you come home tired from travelling. Everything was stress free, she took over the sit from friends of ours and did it with ease. We met when we got back and I found her friendly and engaging. I would welcome Sarah back next time we need a sitter. I can imagine she will be very popular but hopefully we shall get a slot. Thanks again Sarah.
