We had an amazing time looking after Rosemary and David´s beautiful home and taking care of their gorgeous labradoodle, Dudley. Rosemary and David are wonderful hosts and they kindly picked us up from the station before sharing a thoroughly enjoyable evening meal with them. They showed us around the local area and where Dudley likes to go on his walks and generously went out of their way to make sure that we had everything we needed during our stay. Dudley was an absolute joy to look after. He´s a perfect blend of young energy, calm patience and sweet affection and we loved taking him out for long walks right from the house into the stunning Herefordshire countryside. He´s great with other dogs, well behaved and has good recall. Fond memories were created on our walks with Dudley and we felt fortunate to have been able to enjoy the area at such a beautiful time of year. Rosemary and David´s house is clean and very comfortable and we had everything and more for a very pleasant stay. We never tired of the views from the terrace and enjoyed the wildlife that came to visit their garden. Although we enjoyed spending time at home with Dudley, we had a look at the local area too with the nearest town, Ledbury, not only having all the amenities you need, but also being extremely attractive. So, for all the above reasons, we highly recommend housesitting for Rosemary and David. They´re a kind and generous couple, Dudley is an absolute pleasure to be with, and Herefordshire is a great place to get to know. What more could you want?
It was a pleasure to sit for Teri! I loved playing with Sadie, Bear, Layla, Nikki, and of course Snowy the head butter! Instructions were clear, dogs well trained, and everything I needed to feel comfortable and safe. I would definitely work with them all again. A pleasure and honor
Wow! Just wow!! Gill & Andy and family are really friendly, chilled hosts, and made me feel very welcome, both in conversations before the sit and on arrival. This permeates down to Jess & Roscoe, who are just the most delightful well-trained collies you could ever meet. So different in personality - Jess with her ability to carry sticks half her bodyweight, and faithful Roscoe forever at my heel - but both so lovely. There are some gorgeous walks to be had up in the Angus Glens and along the old railway line near Glamis Castle, but the dogs were just as happy off the lead in the surrounding fields. I must admit to shedding the odd tear as I left, and I do hope we meet again soon!
