For those who like a quick read, after nearly 30 pet sits, this one ranks as our overall favorite and we have had a lot of wonderful pet sits in the U.S., U.K. and Europe. Within minutes of our virtual meet, we knew we would enjoy getting to know Frannie and Gavin. They exhume positive energy and lead interesting lives. They are so welcoming and hospitable that we immediately felt like we were visiting old friends. As home/pet owners using both sides of THS, they showed their appreciation for us as pet sitters in every way possible. Their generosity and having neighbors over to meet us made us feel valued upon arrival. Their home and location is as lovely as all of the photos show. It is exceptionally clean, well organized and decorated. We did not have the weather to enjoy the lake but just sitting on the deck for brief periods was wonderful. We had plenty of options for walks and food without a car so one is not required but helpful if you want to explore more of the area. However, if you just want a relaxing time, it is a perfect spot. Organizing a taxi to go to the nearest town was easy and affordable. The train from London is quick and easy The most important piece is Molly who is sweet, affectionate and mellow. The only thing that got her excited was seeing rabbits. I was so impressed with her behavior around other dogs considering she was a street dog in her earlier years. She loves jumping in/out of the lakes on walks where it is safe to let her off lead and was very comfortable in pubs. We are grateful we had the opportunity to get to know Frannie, Gavin and Molly. We feel we have new friends and another fur baby we would happily adopt. We look forward to another opportunity to be with all of them again.
We had a wonderful stay at Emma and Keiran's with Rey! We absolutely fell in love with the her and were sad to leave. Rey was super easy going and VERY excited to play ball in the park or while out on a walk in the Peak. Emma and Keiran made us feel very welcome and provided lots of information to help with our sit. We would 100% return :)
I had a lovely time at Sophie’s looking after Percy and Gizmo. Her lovely home, is a short and very pleasant walk into Poole, and a slightly longer walk to the beaches of Bournemouth. Both are worth a visit and have great places to sit and eat a picnic if the weather holds up. Sophie was very hospitable. I stayed an extra evening either side of the sit, she picked me up from the station, and together we went on a 10 minute joyride to chase down my departing coach! She also left me some cakes when she went away, which were absolutely delicious. Percy and Gizmo were a pleasure to look after. They're both sweet and very cuddly, but perhaps unfairly, Percy definitely got a few extra hugs per day, mainly because he’s so fluffy and because he needs his belly rubs too. They loved playing with their wand and feathers, but most of all the laser pen, and if you’re not ready they’ll have a play fight for you, sometimes on the bed in the morning. During the day Gizmo would often go on adventures, only coming back for food, so Percy would sit himself in the napkin holder and watch me work, or walk over my laptop, while I try to work. They’re both adorable and I will miss them. Thanks, Sophie. It was a great house sit, so I hope I can come back sometime soon.

Staying with Roscoe was great fun!! He's very well trained and listens to the commands he's been trained with thoroughly. Amara and Andrew left detailed information on his care, his likes and dislikes, as well as his commands, including hand signals. A lovely, comfortable home in a great neighbourhood within walking distance to grocery stores, cafes and restaurants. Amara and Andrew were very welcoming and made me feel right at home. I couldn’t recommend Emily enough!!! The care she has given to our fur babies over the years has been unmatched. She has a genuine love for all animals and goes above and beyond every single visit. Unfortunately we no longer use Pet Friends due to a job change and moving house however I would highly recommend anyone needing a pet sitter to use Pet Friends & Emily. It is always a little nerve racking leaving fur children at home, but especially when they are old. We were so relieved with the care and compassion shown by Jenny from Pet Friends in looking after our 4 cats - 1 requiring some special care. Receiving daily updates and gorgeous photos helped with our stress of leaving them home and allowed us to really enjoy our holiday knowing they were in great hands. She is usually very stress with stranger after attacked by a neighbour dog last year. Her first time boarding with Helen for 9 days when I am away to attend business conference. They are so nice, professional and patient with fare price. Elsa and Shelley are the best for taking care of Guinean pigs. I highly recommend them! They will send pictures and notes to me every time after they take care of my piggies, and they help me feed them and clean the space. They are great!
We returned home from our little getaway down South. Walked in and the house was immaculate ! Cathy went above and beyond our expectations ! We are over the moon with the service Tess provides at Perth Pet Palace! We were very worried leaving our beautiful puppy Alfie with someone while we were on holiday, but as soon as I spoke to Tess I felt we could relax knowing he was in good hands! Tess has been Mabel's, our almost 2-year-old Cocker Spaniel's dog walker and sitter, since she was 12 weeks old. Mabel absolutely loves her walks and staycations with Tess and her other doggy friends. Tess treats all of her dogs like they're her own and when we travel, it's such a relief, knowing our girl is so well looked after. I would absolutely recommend Tess to anyone!
Tess recently looked after Oakley when we went on holiday. He’s never stayed away from home before so I was worried how he might go. I definitely didn’t need to worry. Tess and her gorgeous dog Ted E welcomed Oakley into their lives and home and looked after him as if he was theirs!! I got multiple photos and videos every day of their wonderful adventures and I could see how happy and settled he was. He even came home slightly better behaved so that was a bonus!!! If I could give more stars I certainly would. Tess is amazing!!

Can’t recommend highly enough! Tess is absolutely amazing with dogs. Our two boys, Bailey and Mo spent two weeks with Tess, while we had renovations going on. She was incredible - adventurous and fun, caring and generous with cuddles. Tess shared daily updates so we could see how much fun the boys were having. They had an amazing holiday and we could get on with things knowing they were feeling happy and loved. Our little cavoodle pup Angus has stayed with Tess a couple times now, and we would not hesitate to have her look after him every time we are away. KALMPETS, and especially Dr. Kate Lindsay, have been outstanding. My dog’s anxiety was so severe he would shake violently, and Dr. Kate immediately identified that pain could be a contributing factor. After thorough evaluation and a CT scan, we discovered he has hip dysplasia. They’ve helped manage his anxiety with medication adjustments, identified triggers, and educated me on how small things can lead to anxiety build-up. What truly sets them apart is their ongoing support. Whenever I email with questions or concerns, they respond promptly and compassionately. Knowing they’re always there to guide me through this journey is incredibly reassuring. Their care has made a world of difference for both me and my dog.

Kate and Kalmpets was the best thing that could have happened for my staffy as a puppy, not only did she diagnosed his problem he then spent almost 3 years going to once weekly doggy daycare at Kalmpets when it was in Balcatta.. the staff were brilliant and my boy CharlieBrown thrived… he still sees Dr Kate for check ups every few years… I loved the Kalmpets experience… Thank you to everyone there… Peta First photo was taken at Kalmpets when it was in Balcatta.. Second one was when he was around seven.. Third was more recently.. he has just turned 10..
Well set up for anxious pets. My dog's issues were discussed, and the proposed action plan was outlined using non-technical jargon. The subsequent summary was provided (and it was clear and easy to follow). Parking is just outside the door.
Dr Kate Lindsey is an amazing Behaviour Veterinarian. She is an extremely kind and supportive person. I am so grateful to have found Kate and highly recommend her.
Taking on a Rescue dog is not easy, and Dr Kate provided so much help and support. She is very caring, realistic with her solutions and non-judgemental. My girl Meeka has come such a long way from when we first saw Dr Kate and she has definitely helped Meeka to live her "best life". I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Kate and Kalmpets to anyone in a similar situation as I was.
I can’t recommend Kalmpets enough! My vet referred us to see Dr Kate for our very anxious, fear reactive border collie puppy and my goodness, it’s helped us so much! She then referred us onto a dog trainer specific to our situation and it’s really given us hope and the tools to know how to deal with our almost 1 year old pup. Kate has also given us dietary advice, we have continued email support, and she spent a thorough hour and a half (at least) assessing our pup and educating us. I’ve been recommending her to anyone who will listen! :-) Thank you Kate!
Waste of money. I got given a 2 page plan for my frenchie for my $500. I was told he growls when he has had enough. Well yeah. not too difficult to diagnose that one. I was told to take him to a dog trainer. There was also no follow up after the initial consultation. Like I said waste of money.
The best place to go for effective, evidence-based help with your dog's behaviour. Little Mango is certainly a lot happier for it. Cannot recommend highly enough.
Dr Kate is absolutely amazing! She's always going above and beyond to help my boy. She does a great job of making you feel like your not in it alone when dealing with a difficult dog. Can not recommend her enough!!
Alex and Cindy were fantastic looking after Bailey. Plenty of space for him to run around and explore. There was other dogs there at the house which Bailey loved playing with, it helps when they are of similar breed and size. Definitely recommend them for your dog sitting needs we will be using them again when we’re away on holidays.
Alex and his family took great care of my dog for a few days while away on a recent trip. They provided regular updates and photos keeping me up to date, and also went above and beyond asking about my dogs daily routine and feeding schedule. I can honestly say that everything about our first home sitting experience was excellent. Our communications were all answered very promptly and the whole process was explained to us very well. Our house sitter Brad was just amazing, from the first time of meeting him he made the whole process so easy. He regularly sent us photos of our pets whilst we were away and we returned home to an immaculately clean house and pets that were very happy and relaxed. Laurissa and Rodin were perfect house and pet sitters for our staffy Boye and our 2 cats Ricky and Bluey . They kept us regularly updated with pics of our fur babies which we loved. Our babies were so happy and content, we were at absolute peace while on holidays knowing they were being well cared for and loved . We have used AllPets several times a year for over 5 years now and have always felt that we are leaving our pets and home in good hands. We have had some excellent sitters - singles and couples and all very caring and very pet loving people. The girls in the office - Gemma, Lee and Catherine are friendly and Jan runs a very professional business. If we have been away for long sits (4 or more weeks) she usually does a visit to the home to make sure everything is running well. We mention AllPets House sitters to lots of friends and family and thoroughly recommend them. We are just home from two weeks away and we had an excellent young couple Celeste and Fernando looking after Teddy (4 year old Retriever) and Scout (2 year old grey cat). They sent us photos and updates every so often which is lovely when you are away from home and your 'fur babies' . We have our next two trips already booked for this year. We used Allpet sitters when we travelled overseas and I can’t recommend them enough. Robbie was our sitter and she looked after our cat so well! It was really peace of mind to know Robbie was there to look after her and we loved receiving photos and videos of how she was doing. I wouldn’t hesitate to use this service again or recommend it to other people.
We have used All Pet House Sitters twice now - both times we were away for approximately a month overseas and have been delighted with the service we received. On both occasions our house sitters had done a fantastic job looking after both our home and the pets (we have a 6 year old schnauzer/poodle cross and a 3 year old cat). The dog, particularly, can get a bit stressed when we're away and we find it is so much better for him to be cared for in his own environment and sticking to his usual routine. We have been very happy with the care and professionalism shown by all the Allpet staff who handled our bookings. They really understand the anxiety that many pet owners feel when having to leave their beloved fur babies and have thought through all the details very well. It is also reassuring to know that the housesitters have the back up of the office staff at all times in case of any unforeseen eventuality eg delayed flights back home or the like. We would definitely use Allpet's services again and are happy to recommend them to any pet lovers looking for reliable and caring house and pet sitters.
We used All Pet House Sitters to look after our very precious Dalmatian in August/September 2015 when we were overseas for a month. We were thrilled with everything about this service. Jan was so professional and efficient and was an absolute delight to do business with. David and Rachel, our house sitters were so gorgeous. We met them a few times before going away and couldn't of been happier. While we were away we received constant updates and photos which was brilliant. Our dog Lilly was so spoilt and so well cared for. We would definitely recommend this service and will be using it again when leaving our pets when we are on holidays. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We no longer feel guilty leaving our animals to have a holiday as they are just as happy being cared for by lovely people in their own environment.
When our original house / dog sitter plans fell through, we came across Allpet House Sitters. Jan and her team were very efficient with their communications, and I appreciated their thorough sets of documentation for us to prepare and go through with our sitter. Andrew was an amazing sitter, sending us regular updates, taking great care of our dogs, going absolutely above and beyond with maintaining and cleaning the house; buying us some eggs, bread, milk and a box of chocolates ready for our arrival back. Will definitely be using Allpet House Sitters again (and asking for Andrew!).
Our first experience with All Pet House Sitters was absolutely fantastic. Claire and Lucas were amazing with our little dog, two cats, goldfish, garden and house. They kept us regularly updated with news about the animals, and were such lovely people that all the dog-walking people at our local park will miss them (as will we). Alison and Bob were amazing. From the first time I met them, they gave off a warm and friendly vibe and our cat felt immediately comfortable with them. When we were away on our trip, Alison kept us updated with photos of our pets and any other info from home. When we arrived back from our holiday, the house was spotless, there was fresh bread in the kitchen and fresh milk in the fridge. It was just such a stress free experience and we would like to thank you for recommending Alison and Bob for our house sit.
Can’t recommend Perth Pet Boarding enough! Nicola and the team took amazing care of Teddy for the 3 and a bit weeks while we were away, and when needed, we’ll be using them again for sure. They were the best! Couple of snaps attached as proof of a happy pup being looked after and played with.
Best Kennels out pup has ever been in! The communication from the staff is amazing, with daily photos on their Facebook page. Kennels are clean, the dogs get to play daily on their own grass patch outside, and are fed premium food! Our dog was also washed free of charge on pickup day. He loved his stay and he will definitely be coming back!
The best kennels we have ever used! Nicola was spent time finding about our dogs before we booked. She got their characters very quickly, which shows she spent time with the dogs. We loved seeing the dogs on instagram, always happy and getting lots of attention. Picking them up, being greeted by two very happy dogs but they weren’t manic, they were calm, which said to us they had enjoyed their stay with Nicola and her team. I would highly recommend Perth Pet boarding to anyone.
Cannot recommend this place highly enough! Our two dogs stayed for three weeks and were loved and cared for by Nicola and her team as though they were her own. I often feel guilty leaving the dogs in a kennel but not this time they were exercised and had play time twice a day every day and even a bbq on the weekend. The regular Facebook photo and video updates assured me that the dogs were having the best time- so much so that I was worried they may never want to come home. Thank you so much Nicola and team!
An amazing place. Nicola leads a team of really dedicated and caring dog carers/lovers. I hate having to leave my dogs when I can’t take them with me BUT I know how well they are cared for with Nicola and the team. The daily updates of photos and video is a fantastic way to stay connected while I’m away. I can’t recommend Perth Pet Boarding more highly. Thanks heaps for looking after my dogs (again)
If I could give more than 5 stars I would! I discovered Perth pet boarding after planning a last minute trip and needed to leave my shepherd for the first time ever, I called many kennels around but no phone call sounded promising until I came across this place. One phone call with Nicola And I was 100% sure she would love and take care of my pup Caesar as much as we do and I wasn’t wrong! I got to go on my holiday stress free knowing my pup was taken care of and i received updates every single day! I had a family emergency recently and called Nicola on the day I was leaving and she made the process so stress free and I got to drop Caesar off right after that phone call! This place is amazing and will love your dog as much as you do, Caesar loves being there and to him it’s not pet boarding it’s a vacation! Thank you for looking after him will definitely always be back for future trips
Nicola 100% came to our rescue when our usual Kennel decided our dog was too anxious for her to be comfortable with. Like most rescue dogs our Boy can be anxious around new people and other dogs, Nicola put so much love and attention into helping him settle in and kept us updated on his progress which helped us enjoy our holiday knowing he was being cared for the way he deserves . We will definitely be back !

Sorry. I forgot to put a description. The whole stress and worry of putting my girl into a kennel was completely washed away the first time I met the beautiful owners of Perth Pet Boarding. You can tell from the first second that they are proper animal lovers and have a true passion for their business. I was recommended this place from another highly rated kennel and you know if others in the business are recommended this place then it must be good. It absolutely is. My girl Ellie had the best time on her first stay and was looked after, so well that it made me feel bad when we got back home and I couldn't give her the level of attention she was getting 😅. It was like a holiday for her at the same time as my holiday. Another amazing thing is that they post regular, multiple posts daily, on their Facebook page with lovely photos of your fur baby so you can keep up to date while away without having to worry. I wouldn't trust anyone else to look after my girl other than Perth Pet Boarding. They are truly amazing with the best service in Perth.
I highly recommend Perth Pet Boarding, Nicole took the trouble to befriend our very nervous, highly reactive dog for a long period (two and a half months). Felix had never been in a kennel before. Not only that, but she reassured me and my daughter daily, with updates and videos. He came back home happy, and relaxed.
Our dog loves going to daycare once a week. Good for her to interact with other dogs. The team do a wonderful job matching up dog buddies for the days play time. We have had her in for boarding also. She comes home happy, healthy and with the added exercise - a lean and fit dog. Definitely recommend Belly Rubs

Always a great experience at Belly Rubs. Our Beagle always comes home puffed so lots of exercise in a healthy environment. Owners are Beagle and dog lovers and breeders. I recommend getting your pooch washed which they will do on day of pick up.

Wow! What an amazing experience for my dog! I board my boy regularly and was pretty impressed to find him shampood and blow dried! The owners sent me pictures of my boy having fun in the yard! Seriously great job guys!
Highly recommend Belly Rubs Boarding Kennel! They helped us out when we were in need of a kennel over Christmas. Our dog was well taken care of, given lots of cuddles and attention and daily photos and videos sent to us. It was a nice feeling seeing him having so much fun and being cared for. Staff friendly and very accommodating, was no drama at all for an extra day for our boy, Toby with hardly any notice. Our boys first time in a kennel and he came home happy and super tired. Will bring him back for sure
