David and Liz are great, they're both so welcoming, warm and lovely people.

Leia and Lilly couldn't be more well-behaved. They were a delight to sit for, they're both very relaxed, friendly and kind-natured dogs... I miss them!

Hurstpierpoint is beautiful, the village has lots of lovely cafes, and restaurants and the nature is stunning.

I would definitely sit for Leia and Lilly again and would love the opportunity to spend time with David and Liz.

This is one of those wonderful sits that suit us so well that we don't want to praise it too much as everyone else will be rushing to do it, but we'd love to keep it just to ourselves! However, in the spirit of THS and knowing dates may not coincide here goes.
The house is stunning, a delight of old and new in wonderful harmony. Every modern convenience and space wrapped around a traditional stone house set in a lovely garden in a peaceful rural spot. Yes, you do need a car as there are no shops or pubs within walking distance but just a short drive away are posh pubs, farm shops and places to visit.
As for Maisy and Figgy, they are loving and very lovable dogs. Maisy's stamina is tremendous for her age (15) and she enjoys coming out in the car and exploring new walks. She's bored with the one from home, and flatly refuses to do it. She's happy just to potter in the large garden, and to be near you. Figgy, on the other hand is only 1 and loves to tease and play and test boundaries both physical and disciplinary! If she's bored she let's you know and if you don't respond with a game or a walk she will find something to chew, probably something of yours! You have been warned😆. She has lots of energy and is strong for her small size but oh so cute and loves a cuddle.
We loved the dogs, the house and the area and would be more than happy to return.
