I had the most amazing time sitting for Sarah and Gerald. They were incredibly welcoming from the start and I very much enjoyed sharing some time with them while they were getting ready to go away. The cottage is absolutely gorgeous, the garden is charming and of course - Basil, Edie and Patch are delightful. They all are so different and sweet, were very well behaved and affectionate. They love their walks in their gardens and pats and being nearby you, and are also quite content having naps in the kitchen! If you get the opportunity to sit for Sarah and Gerald I couldn’t recommend it more highly. A truely magical English home!
We thoroughly enjoyed our month housesitting for Wendy and Philip at their home in Canterbury - we were immediately made to feel at home, Wendy took us on a walk along with the land manager Matt, made us coffees, showed us around and even left us a lovely welcome message on the kitchen chalkboard! Pablo, Alba and Piglet were 3 of the most adorable dogs I’ve ever had the pleasure of looking after, we fell in love immediately. They were so great with our dog Lando. I loved how close Alba and Pablo and they were the source of endless of entertainment and cuddles (they give the best cuddles). There were so many highlights to the sit, it’s hard to list them all but we loved walking around the land with the dogs, feeding the alpacas, watching TV in front of the wood-burning fireplace and visiting the nearby pubs. We both WFH and the Wi-Fi was fast so great for working professionals as well as travellers. We couldn’t rate this sit more highly, and would definitely recommend to other animal lovers!
