This is the first time we have used zeewoi. We were a little nervous at first. The idea of leaving our dog and house in the care of total strangers was daunting; however, once we had made the initial contact with John and Susan we immediately had a good feeling. We skyped and talked and exchanged emails before making the final decision. I must say it was the right decision. From the moment we confirmed the dates they both helped us to prepare for their arrival. They made suggestions and even sent us a preparation list of the things they would need to know. It was helpful as I took it for granted that things that we take for granted such as using the washing machine still needed to have instructions for new people, and things such as where the fuse box and mains water tap was. They kept in regular contact until they arrived. They came a few days before hand so that we could explain everything and we instantly warmed to them. It was like we had known them for years. Susan immediately helped prepare food which helped her get familiar with the kitchen. They reminded us of anything else we had forgotten. They even suggested packing tips which was very helpful. Rufus took to them instantly and when we took them to our usual walks they knew his routine. They were keen to meet our friends and we knew we could go away on holiday without worrying about home. We had gone to the vets on the day arrived and so took them with us so they knew who our vet was. Our vet suggested that Rufus should go on a diet and they adhered to the vets’ suggestion. On our return Rufus had lost a little weight and had got into a new routine which we are now going to adhere to, Thank you both for this. Both of them have a great deal of experience and knowledge and it was really helpful and interesting to hear about their travels.
They kept in touch throughout our holiday and on our return I could see they had kept the house clean and tidy and looked after our belongings. John had even done some gardening. Susan had done some basic ration shopping and had prepared a lovely lunch for us, knowing we would be tired.
We really enjoyed meeting John and Susan and can say we have not only had some reliable people to look after our home and pet, but we have made some really good friends who we will keep in touch with and I hope would come and visit again in the future.
We would recommend John and Susan to anyone looking for house sitting or pet sitting. They were great! Thank you to both.

Barbara
We had a great time looking after Barbara’s house and Tigger! Barbara was very welcoming and the instructions were clear. Tigger is a lovely cat. She needed a day to warm up to us, but after that she would come for a stroke against our legs and a small cuddle.

Kenilworth is a small and friendly town. It has lots of local charity and book shops. The castle and Abbey park are worth a visit.

We would be happy to look after Tigger again!

Ahh, just amazing. We could've easily stayed here for 3 months or more. The location is pure peace, the home is gorgeous and the pets are all unique, fun and cute! There are just too many perks to list.

The cats are independent yet do come for cuddles and love. They made us laugh quite a bit with their personality quirks.

Charlie is the absolute sweetest. He is gentle, patient and has a pep in his step (he even does a footloose style dance when it's time to eat).

Karin was a breeze to message with and very supportive with unforeseen issues that came up.

We wholeheartedly recommend this petsit!

Pickle
I had a lovely stay at Pickle's home in Bruton! Pickle picked me up from the station and showed me around her home as well as left me a note regarding how to look after Pablo and Mabel. Pablo is still pretty young and chews on items so just have to be weary of that! They are very well behaved on walks and have great recall. There are lots of pleasant walks around Bruton and cute shops too. The WiFi in the house works great too. It’s a lovely countryside getaway.

Orange is a very special cat. Even though he has serious health conditions, he is loving life. The way he navigates his environment is truly amazing considering he is blind and deaf. When he wasn't following me, he was following the sun basking in it's warmth throughout the day. He's affectionate, kept me company when I watched tv in the evening, and followed me to bed at night.

Shelley's instructions were thorough. We met up before she left and were given a tour and a thorough explanation of Orange's care. The house is beautiful, comfortable, and so conveniently located in the Marina. I didn't have a car and didn't need one. Thanks, Shelley, for sharing your furry family and home with me. I'd love to return!

A delightful housesit!
Sharon had made sure we had every comfort and instruction in their beautiful house, and it all ran quite smoothly.
The dogs are friendly and boisterous, well housetrained and always ready for a romp in that pleasant garden . The walks are on the sea wall, around a nature reserve full of birds, very close to the house, with beautiful views on the sea and the Isle of Wight. Both dogs need some supervision on the walks, and a strong arm as they can pull at times.
Lymington is a charming seaside town, and the beautiful New Forest only a couple of miles away.
Definitely a sit we left with chagrin but c’est la vie and all that ! :)

Steven was absolutely wonderful, just like the pups! He was incredibly welcoming, thorough, hilarious, and had plenty of recommendations for the area. This was one of my first sits on trusted pet sitters and he sure set a high bar! Lou and Amelia were such sweethearts — it was truly a joy to spend time with them. There was no shortage of beautiful parks and routes close by for walks and the pups were quick yo warm up. The area can’t be beat and the building is amazing. Can’t recommend highly enough!
