Dog Sitters in Cozy Corner, VT

I have nothing but great things to say about Kate and her pet care, she was fantastic across all categories (+some) and I recommend her without hesitation for anyone considering her for pet and/or house sitting. Kate cared for my two cats for 10 days and everything went as smooth as possible. I will write details for each category below, but in summary: Kate was incredibly clean and respectful of my home, she had great communication and was super organized with plans, she was also self-sufficient and really knows what she is doing with cats. Most importantly, Kate is a cat lover to her core, my cats were completely at ease with her and I had zero concerns while I was away. 10/10 recommend! Details: Pet care: kate followed all my instructions and maintained the cats routine to a T, including their complicated (and raw) feeding routine. Beyond that, she is just very very competent and has great judgement. She even bathed my long haired maine-coon (with permission) after she knocked something over and got it all over her. Anyone who has a cat knows this is not an easy task, especially with a cat with such long hair. Most importantly, my cats seemed to really love her, even my anxious rescue. She showered them love and affection. Reliable, self-sufficient, organized, communication: Kate had very clear and prompt communication, she was organized & reliable, and she showed great competence & judgement in all areas. She sent me once daily updates as asked, including lovely videos and photos of my cats. I did not have to worry about anything Clean and tidy: Kate left my house in impeccable condition. this was one of the only times I returned home and didn't have to lift a finger. She also provided a very detailed overview upon departure, thinking of everything and leaving no questions for me to ask (e.g. "Cuya last ate ate.."). She is truly a respectful houseguest that you can entrust your space to.

Becky was wonderful with our dog and took excellent care of the house.

Jacinthe is a delight and we loved having her in our home! She took excellent care of our two cats and sent us lovely daily photos and updates on their bird watching and cuddle schedule! She kept a close eye on the cats’ food and noticed when one cat wasn’t eating very much so we could switch things up. As a fellow cat owner, she was excellent at caring for our two purr machines and we felt very reassured to have her in our home while we were away. She took in our mail and left the house immaculate. We really couldn’t have asked for a better House Sitter and highly recommend Jacinthe! Thank you, Jacinthe and please keep in touch xx

Marie Hélène is a wondeful petsitter. She took a very good care of my cat and dog. She did an amazing job with my dog Gavroche who has many special needs in medication, care and attention. She's really easy going, nice and disponible. Plus my appartment was extra clean when I came back. I highly and genuinely recommend her !

Apart from being nice persons, Karina and her companion Hugues-Antoine are also absolutely perfect pet-sitters. They took good care of my young cat Motzi and played a lot with her. When I came back, I found Motzi as happy and relaxed as if I had never leaved. They sent me some news and pics once a day, which was also enjoyable. They also took good care of the orchids and other plants and left the house in a perfect state. I'm grateful for their stay and would be happy to welcome them again.

Heidi and Roland absolutely were fantastic house sitters. Their communication ahead of and during the stay was great, we received regular updates and pictures. Martin was instantly a big fan of both Heidi and Roland when they arrived and was very happy when we arrived home, they obviously had taken great care of him. The apartment was spotless when we arrived home, they had even washed and replaced the bed sheets. It was a genuine pleasure to be in touch with and have such kind people to housesit, we really hope to cross paths with them again!

Stephanie was fantastic! She is an excellent communicator and has a lot of experience working with cats. My cat can be a bit shy at first, but she opened up to Stephanie very quickly and was attached to her the whole weekend, which made me very happy. Stephanie left our home spotless and was kind enough to wash and return all the bedding and towels, which saved us a load of laundry when we returned home :) She had no problem administering our cat's daily medication, which is always impressive (if you have ever had to administer medication to a cat, you'll know what I mean). I would welcome Stephanie back anytime and highly recommend her!

if I could’ve left 10 stars for Marika and Arthur I would have. They took such amazing care of our dogs who are a little bit apprehensive with new people in the beginning, but they quickly warmed up to them. They kept us abreast of all things happening with them and sent many pictures and videos. The house was cleaner than when we left it, and they were an absolute delight to deal with. I am hopeful that they will come back another time to take care of our wonderful pack, they said they would like to

Julie and Charles clearly communicated arrival and departure times prior to the stay. Because of this, I was able to plan for any extra care I would need to schedule for Tilly ahead of time and what I would be back in time for. They communicated when they arrived and gave me updates immediately on how Tilly was when they arrived and the care they provided. This was particularly helpful as Tilly had been ill before their arrival and was on medication. They also communicated when they were heading out after the stay and what care Tilly had received prior. Every day, I got multiple updates with photos and they were able to administer her oral pills no problem. Overall, I felt extremely comfortable leaving Tilly with Julie and Charles even though she was still healing because they had abundant experience and I know she was well loved and cared for. They went above and beyond by not only bringing Tilly with them to dinner after their arrival, but before departing, they cleaned sheets and towels and remade the bed. My apartment overall was clean as well with dishes done. Not only would I recommend Julie and Charles to others looking for somebody to trust with their beloved pets, I would also host them again. Thank you for providing peace of mind when I had to leave a sick puppy!

Audrey and Mathieu were the best! They were so warm and friendly, as well as clean, considerate and good communicators. You would definitely want them to take care of your home plants and pets. Everything looked great after our nine days away and they also washed all their linens, cleaned the house, even took out all the trash. Lovely folks. Highly recommend!

Jadis was fantastic. Communication was always great, and my cats and home were very well taken care of by Jadis and their partner while I was out of the province for a week. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone and would welcome them back in a heartbeat!
