We really struck gold with Theresa and Lothar. They were everything we could possibly have wished for in House/pet sitters. They are kind, considerate, communicative, empathetic, sensitive, totally organised and as an added bonus have a great sense of humour! Absolutely our kind of people. A perfect fit! We never had one moments worry whilst we were away. Our very sensitive house cat Dave adopted them straight away ( traitor!) and didn’t miss us at all. When we returned in the early hours we were delighted to walk in to an immaculately clean and tidy house maintained to the highest order. They had stripped all their bedding and it was dried and neatly folded, the plants were beautifully looked after and all the cats were well fed and happy. They had even thoughtfully provided us with some essential groceries (including a bottle of wine!) mindful that our return coincided with a public holiday. We are lucky enough to now count them as friends and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.
I big thank you to Mary Ellen for taking such good care of my home and my kitties Parker and Morgan. Parker is a very friendly rag doll that will not leave your side. Morgan is a rescue who is quite skittish . He warmed up to Mary Ellen in a very short period of time and became her friend which is not his usual path. We had great communication while I was away. She is a very personable person that is very enthusiastic about her sitting job. When I arrived home everything was in perfect order and the kitties were very happy and content. I will not hesitate to have her again - in fact, she is coming back in December. I am sure Parker and Morgan will be very happy to see her. She arrived exactly on time and will definitely be there if she commits to your sit.
