We have just returned from a week in Ann and Tim’s lovely house in Lymington. Zora was a pleasure to look after, very loving and affectionate but full of character. Lymington has so much to offer, wonderful walks directly from the house or a bit further afield by car in the forest or the Dorset coastline. The house is ideally located for walks into town, a 5 minute walk to M&S and the High Street. The Saturday market is not to be missed. We would highly recommend this sit and would be happy to return.
This was a super easy sit in a lovely home in a group of 3, private courtyard setting, two story townhouse and I felt very safe being there. Edmond is a lovely cat, little bit shy at first, but very quickly came to visit me for pats. Sarah was very welcoming, I had everything I needed and the had the downstairs guest bedroom. Lovely house with everything you needed easily found. Happy to sit here anytime needed!
Terrific experience with this housesit. Dan and LouAnn were tremendously accommodating and gracious hosts as I arrived the evening before they left. A printed care guide is available and well organized. Chipper is very social and craves to be loved on but also has his alone time to rest. He is low maintenance but will let you know when it’s feeding time. The beautiful home is situated in a quiet subdivision across from a large public park that offers many amenities. You literally can step out the front door and walk or bike for miles. Just 30 minutes from main Knoxville will give you anything you’re looking for in city life, or a bit further will take you to more remote hiking and biking trails. The home is clean and clutter free, so comfortable and organized with anything you could need. While on their trip, Dan and LouAnn were easily accessible via messenger if needed. I would highly recommend this sit if you’re looking to explore the Knoxville area.
I absolutely loved this sit. Gareth and Kate are the most loveliest couple. We chatted on facetime a few weeks before the sit and they told me lots about Niko, their beautiful home and the surrounding area. Communication before and during the sit was great. They provided a wonderful handbook with so much information, it was extremely helpful. I arrived a couple of hours before they were off on their adventure to India so we had time to chat over a cuppa, look around the house so I knew where everything was and how to work things and of course got to know Niko a little before they went. Niko is an adorable cat and loves to play. It was a pleasure to be able to spend time with him. He would sometimes follow me around and he especially liked to walk behind me down the garden path into the office where I would sometimes work. He liked company and he loved to sit on the decking just outside when the sun was shining Just before I sat for them my Dad passed away and Kate and Gareth were so kind, they sent me some flowers on my second day to say thinking of you. It was such a kind gesture. They also made sure I had everything I needed and said for me to help myself to spices etc in the store cupboard . They also made me the most delicious lentil cottage pie for me to enjoy that evening. I now have the recipe and will be cooking that again soon . The house was beautiful and the views from the front and back were stunning. I spent so much time just gazing through the windows and watching the morning sun rise and set in the evening There are beautiful walks on the doorstep and I especially liked walking across the field into the village where there was a nice pub, hairdressers, cafe and a shop with a post office. There was a big Sainsbury's a ten minute drive away and Bath and Bristol are also close by to visit I'm so grateful to have been able to stay in Pucklechurch for nearly 5 weeks and would love to be invited back Thank you so much again Gareth, Kate and lovely Niko xxx
