I cannot say enough wonderful things about Kara! She was everything you would want in a pet/house sitter: respectful, communicative, thoughtful, truly loving to our dogs. She sent updates with cute videos, left the house better than she found it, and even left notes and puppy pics for us upon our return. You would be lucky to have Kara as your pet sitter!
Alex and Margaryta's pet sit was our first experience and we couldn't have asked for a better opportunity. From the get-go the communication was so easy and we really appreciated having a pre-pet sit meet up so we could get a chance to meet the family and also get to know each other. Alex and Margaryta are so friendly and made the whole process as easy as possible and were always available to answer any questions that came up. Now, the furry family of 6 + 1 very special guest (Miss Gigi as we liked to call her). What a lively and loving bunch, with such individual personalities too! Mushashi, Pepito and Gigi made us laugh daily with their funny antics and were always up for a cuddle, even if there was often a little race to see who got to sit next to us (Pepito often won!). Oliver and Sophie were just so sweet (and so fluffy!) and no trouble at all, we particularly loved hearing Sophie start to come out and explore a little more after a while. And, of course not forgetting the duo that is Francois and Amelie! We loved getting to know them and seeing how clever they are, especially Amelie, she really adapts to new people and keeps you on your toes. We were really grateful for such a fun experience that we still speak about now, memories of the whole furry family will definitely stay with us for a long time to come.
Embleton was spectacular! The beach and house were gorgeous, and Dora and Freda were so fun to watch run around on the beach. Victoria and Steve were so kind and responsive the entire trip from offering to make us dinner for our arrival to letting us know when the Northern Lights were expected to be above the house. Absolutely would not hesitate in recommending this housesit.
Wow, what an amazing house sit this was! Maddie is the most easygoing, sweet pup who loves nothing more than cuddling up wherever you happen to be. The area is great and near some awesome bars and restaurants, and the DC bikeshare will enable you to ride downtown in less than 30 minutes. Katie is a fantastic host and her house is just beautiful. We loved our time with Maddie and wish we could have stayed longer!
We had a wonderful stay with sweet Rags at Rachel and Ken's beautiful home. The community is a great place and safe for walking with Rags. Going out with the golf cart was a new experience for which we were a bit nervous, but this disappeared after we got on the golf cart together with Rachel and Ken. They explained everything thoroughly. We felt very welcome and enjoyed our little time together before they left. We hope to do a housesit for them again in the future!
Taking care Tokio was a really Nice experience. He was very Nice and sweet With me, so taking care of him was also an easy and chill task. He loves to be combed and to be where You are. We became very good partners. The apartment is beautifull. It has a terrace so Nice! With plants (that you must watering them) a big table and very confortable sofa where i had my coffee every mornings looking the sunrise. The neighborhood is residencial and calm, you have the metro station very nearly and many markets to buy what you need. The owner, Mara, is so kind and gentle person. She invited me twice to her house before her trip, to know us better. The communication with her by WhatsApp, was excellent. I am very happy to have met Mara and Tokio, and grateful with her for trust in me to looking after her baby ❤️ and house.
We had a wonderful time staying with Lucy. She is as excited to start the day with you as she is to wind down in the living room for some belly rubs. Lucy is a clever pupper and knows several commands, she lets you know when she needs to go out and come back in, or if there is a neighborhood squirrel that needs a talking to. We had the opportunity to meet with Jane and Bill prior to the start of the sit which we recommend if you’re able to do so. Jane and Bill are very welcoming and worry free, quick to respond to any concerns and provide clear and concise direction. The house is located in a historic central Austin neighborhood with all the possible amenities just 5 to 10 minutes away. The home is warm and cozy, with a wonderful book selection and plenty of nooks to settle down in for a bit of light reading. We absolutely recommend this sit for this family if you get a chance!!
