Josephine
Josephine and Peter are an amazing couple, they welcomed us very well. We have shared beautiful chats, while we walk aroundwith Prince.
During our stay we always had very good comunication by whatsapp.
His dog Prince, is adorable, very sweet, has a perfect behavior and is very intelligent. It is very easy to take care, and he loves his three daily walks around the town.
The house is large, bright, very clean and tidy; it is in the center of Ferragudo and very close to the beach.
We recommend it 100% we would definitely return.
Thank you!

Gina
I had great experience at this sit. Gina’s home is beautiful and clean with nice sunlight in the main living area. Honestly you would never know young kids live here if you didn’t see their bedrooms, it’s super tidy!

Misty (it’s just her now, Socks has moved on) is a low maintenance lady. She’s curious, not shy, and by the end of the week she was jumping into my lap for pets. You will love seeing her acrobatic jumps at the top of 14 foot ceiling cabinets. If you wanted to work at this sit she would be easy to do that with - no Zoom photo bombing antics.

I’m a local so tourist sights were not so important to me, but this is a great location to do that. Lots of public transportation available and waking and if you can, I suggest not bringing a car.

Gina is very honest about the noise here - it’s next to a school - if you’re used to city sounds it’s not bad at all. It’s during daytime hours and at night it’s fairly quiet. Not a problem for me at all, I found it charming.

If you accept this sit you should be willing to do some cleaning before you leave, appreciated the clear expectations about that.

There is no TV or radio device - also if you are a coffee drinker bring your French press!

I would definitely be glad to do this sit again.

Jo
We arranged to meet Jo an hour before she left for her trip during this time Jo showed us around her lovely home introducing us to Dave who is diabetic. Dave is a fabulous dog with lots of character. Looking after him was exceptionally easy following Jo’s guidance.

We enjoyed the countryside around Wrexham and would not hesitate in looking after Dave again.

Fre & Cis
There's a saying: "How you treat animals, will tell what kind of person you are."
Well, Cis & Fre are to be admired! They are super nice people and truly have a big heart! They created such a cosy and warm nest for their cats, chickens and even hedgehogs! The house and garden are a paradise! An amazing renovation they did. Not too many words are needed since the pictures speak for themselves.. :)

Luigi, Santo and Couscous are the indoor cats we've had the pleasure to be around with during our 10 day stay. They all have their unique character! Santo was instantly convinced, while Luigi took some days to warm up to us. Once he did, he became the most cuddly of them all which was super nice! Couscous is more on the side of things since she avoids the boys, but she's a sweetheart too who enjoys her cuddles equally much!

Definitely recommended!

Darren & Maria
I have just finished a terrific housesit for Sushi; the adorable and very loving cocker spaniel. Darren and Maria are so lovely and made me feel very welcome from our very first video call. They gave me a tour of the house to ensure I was happy with where I was staying, and introduced me to Sushi - who I instantly fell in love with as I could see how friendly she was. They also prompted me throughout my stay to make myself feel very at home in their lovely place - which I did as it so clean, cosy and a joy to be in. For the odd question - they were so easy to communicate with whilst they were away.
On arrival I went for a walk with Maria so as we could all get to know each other, and especially to learn about Sushi’s style of walkies! She is great on the lead for a 7 month year old, and her recall is absolutely excellent. She is great with other dogs and does not bother them. She knows when to be submissive and run along, so I fully trusted her whilst keeping a strict eye on her - as she does cover some ground!
Her personality is very energetic and friendly, and she can never get enough of exploring her wonderful world outside. We walked for hours one day and she still had energy; so she’s the perfect companion for exploring the coastline. As she likes to keep on the move though, I wasn’t fully able to sit around beaches, pubs or cafes. I am sure as she gets older she will relax a little more. In my opinion, I would say this type of sit suits anyone looking to be active, as she would not suit lazy or short walks (unless quite a few of them), or being left alone for long periods of time. She does sleep once home though! And is super affectionate. Such a darling girl.
Darren created me the most brilliant google map link containing a suggestion of many local walks through woodlands, and to the local beach. There is even a private green field/park on their doorstep for quick evening walks.
This very comfortable and elegant home had everything I needed, and is also only a short drive from some other fantastic beaches and beautiful coastline walks, of which I covered most of with Sushi! I highly recommend this sit and would happily go back again.
Wishing the entire family all the very best, Gia

Robert
Rob, Dana and their kids were so kind and welcoming to me and Clarence. They picked nectarines from their tree for us and left Clarence a little art project. Their home is modern and bright and has everything for a comfortable stay, especially traveling with kids. Bodhi is a little lover and it was easy to get attached to him in just a few days. His routine is simple and he is very willing to play and snuggle. I’d highly recommend sitting for Rob and Dana if you get the chance, and I hope to see Bodhi again sometime!
