I had a wonderful time taking care of Babettlis and Lotti in Deborah’s gorgeous apartment overlooking Zurich. I would go back in a heartbeat! The apartment is a top floor on one of Zurich’s hills with gorgeous views and is beautifully decorated with soft pastels and an antique yet modern charm. The cats were fun to play with when they wanted company, but they loved to spend most of their time outside- I just let them in when they were hungry and to sleep. It was a wonderful set-up and a joy to get to know Zurich. I hope to return again someday- thank you, Deborah!
Theano and Harris are very nice hosts! They shared all the information before our arrival, which was very useful, as we didn’t get to meet in person till the last day of our stay. I really appreciate their efforts to make our stay so great. Burger is a cute and active (also during nights) cat, he loved hanging out with us and we liked him and miss him. The apartment has everything you need, the location is wonderful as well. It’s also a great starting point to view other places in the Netherlands. We had a good time. Thank you, Theano and Harris!
Anne was a wonderful host and the kitties are such a cute little pair. Simon and Frances were easy going and very sweet! Anne’s home is beautiful and she is very helpful with any questions that you might have. I had left my jacket behind and she made sure to get it back to me! If you have the opportunity to do this sit, don’t miss it!
Looking after Oatmeal was fantastic! She's such a lovely dog - super affectionate, chill, always happy, and a real food lover. She felt right at home with us from day one, and all the cuddles were just the best. We got into a nice little routine of three short walks a day, each between 15 to 30 minutes. When we weren't out and about, she'd either be snoozing or snuggling up on the sofa, which was just adorable. Alison and Dean were awesome hosts. They had everything set up perfectly for us. Their place is amazing – it's got three floors and is super close to the center of Amsterdam, just a 25-minute walk. We stayed in the guest room, which was really comfy – so thanks for that! We also squeezed in some time to check out Amsterdam. With the house being so well-located and having bikes and public transport handy, we managed to hit up some museums and cool spots without making Oatmeal miss us too much. All in all, sitting for Oatmeal was a blast. Huge thanks to Alison for trusting us with her, and I really hope we can do it again sometime!
Sheri is a great homeowner. She's very welcoming and accommodating. I hope we can work together in the future. Karma and Lua are so special. They will cuddle sandwich you before you know what's happened; you have been warned 🤗
Kate and Paul are the best host with the best house, pets, and garden to sit for. Tate, Kit, and Aiko are all full of love and energy. The house is well kept, organized, and spacious. Location is perfect for those wanting to be near nature, the beach, and the major tech hub cities. I definitely will sit for them again.
