If you ever get the chance for Monica and Ashley to house sit for you, do it! You won't be disappointed. They looked after our boys while we were away getting married, and they made sure we didn't worried at all. We received daily videos and photos, and they were absolutely wonderful entertaining our two year old while we did our last minute packing. This time we had quite specific entry and leaving dates/times and they were great at accommodating this, and actually stayed one more night, which we really appreciate. Monica, Ashley, it was lovely getting to know you, and 100% we'll let you know about any future sits 💜.
I was so impressed by Jana! She is a lovely person, quiet ,yet funny, and was open to all suggestions I might have thrown at her. I really got to like her a lot! But, most importantly, Jana built a strong link with Charlie and he seemed as happy in the house as if I had been there. Jana brought her own little dog, Poquito, and watching them it wasn't possible to discern which dog was hers, which dog she pet sat - she loved them both the same. The two dogs got on famously, played, walked and slept together. I think they are both missing each other. Jana was in charge of my property with a big garden and home, and she gave me so many compliments about how lovely it was here that I felt very good having her there. I would not hesitate to ask her to come here and house and pet sit again - I know everything would be just a perfect as it was during the 5 months .
Olga and Ray looked after our large property, two active dogs, and our cat here in Cape Town, South Africa. Although this was their first sit on with zeewoi, their experience was obvious. They were so loving and attentive to our animals, and whenever we had an issue that needed attention, Ray was the ultimate handyman. It was so great to have a couple who is so knowledgeable and capable look after our home. Our two German Shorthair Pointers are a large breed that require a lot of daily exercise so we knew we needed a pair that were physically capable of the daily hikes they require. Ray and Olga are clearly very fit and active people who know animals. If you’re lucky enough to have Olga and Ray apply to your sit, I highly recommend confirming them as your next sitters.
Iris is probably the funniest cat I’ve ever looked after. There was truly never a dull moment! He is also pretty chilled out and easy to look after. Within just a few hours of meeting he was coming over for cuddles and then every morning and evening he’d chill out with me in bed. I was very sad to leave him! Fiona was a great host and was easy to communicate with! She took me through everything on the day I arrived and then was quick to answer any of my questions over text. Her apartment is as lovely as it looks in the pictures. I was able to work comfortably from the dining table each day and the wifi worked perfectly. The location is also amazing, with loads of great coffee shops and food places nearby. I hope I get the chance to hang out with Iris again some day.
