It was a joy and a delight to care for adorable Remy and beautiful Callie, and Gail and Mark's lovely home in Falls Church. Gail was very responsive and provided detailed instructions for everything. Remy and Callie were well-behaved. I enjoyed our walks and playing ball in the large beautiful backyard. I formed a special bond with Remy and Callie and would welcome another opportunity to care for them in the future.
I’d definitely recommend to sit for Cristina. You might even make a friend. Teque and Mogli are very affectionate indoor cats. I like that her place captures the lifestyle you see in Oaxaca. It’s surrounded by a lot of green. Cristina even let us stay for an extra night. Gracias Cris!
Fiona & Anthony are wonderful people that made our stay in their home very easy. They are both very generous & made us feel very welcome. Jaap & I both, had a wonderful time with the funny and very well behaved dog Ludo. He was a real joy to spend time with. Long walks and seeing him living such a free life on the beautiful big garden ground was really great. He listens very well. We drove with him in the car and took him everywhere with us. But what we enjoyed most were the long walk and seeing him run free. All the things in and around the cottage were easy to sustain. The peace and quiet of the place was a real change from city life. Fiona and Anthony responded very fast and helpful when we had questions or concerns. They clearly wanted us to be very comfortable and we were. They were generous in their care and gave us a real secure and warm feeling. We really appreciated that a lot. We felt, we met some very special people. The cottage is in its location very unique, surrounded by farmland. In the evening walk we often would spot deers in the forest. We choose to take Ludo every day for long walks through the firsts around the area. They are absolutely gorgeous. Wardour castle forest walk for example.... Everything was very well organised and easy to execute for the homecare including the care for the chickens & beautiful dog Ludo. We actually really cried when we had to leave. We simply both fell in love with the dog.....We enjoyed it. a really great petsit. Thank you Fiona & Anthony
Guy and Paz were absolutely terrific! They were so warm and friendly and very gracious and hospitable. I felt at ease with them right away. Their home was very comfortable with beautiful surroundings. Taking care of Sally and Kevin was a joy. Kevin is full of playfulness and he finds the funniest things to pick up and call his toy. He will quickly become your close companion. Sally is super sweet and wants to play but also can’t part with her ball- it’s a funny conundrum. They are both great watchdogs. I enjoyed taking them for walks daily. And the hens were super easy as well. Nelson shows up at his leisure - his coloring is very cool and unique. This home quickly becomes a home away from home. You’ll miss it soon after you leave. And Guy and Paz became fast friends! I look forward to meeting up again some day.
Really enjoyed house and pet sitting for Aliso. The house is in quite and peaceful location lots of kangaroos and birds to enjoy watching during the day. Alison was excellent to communicate with and any questions or queries she was quick to reply. Definitely the highlight are her pets Mooshka, Harry, Gizmo & Trinity. Really friendly and affectionate animals they are all well behaved. I actually really have missed seeing them after leaving. Would recommend house sitting for Alison again.
I spent nearly two weeks with wonderful Elie. She is a GEM. Incredibly well-trained, tremendously sweet, and an excellent cuddler. And, Kristina's home was just right for an extended get-away for this New Englander. She lives in a lovely suburban neighborhood a short drive from downtown Asheville and her home is super comfortable. I spent many hours with Elie cuddled up with a book watching the fireplace. I'd be delighted to return.
