We absolutely loved our stay in Sheanne’s beautiful home, looking after her easy going cats - Munchkin and Scrap. Sheanne even invited us to come up a few days before the sit to attend a traditional Scottish cèilidh dance for New Years Eve, a definite highlight of our trip. We felt very welcome and at home as soon as we met and Sheanne would do anything to make sure we were comfortable. Her home is very modern with everything you need (including nifty gadgets!). Alford is a short drive away with supermarkets and further on there are lots of attractions for day trips including lochs, mountain walks, distilleries, castles and Aberdeen itself. Munchkin and Scrap are very friendly cats and very easy to look after. Munchkin required a daily tablet but he was calm and behaved when giving the tablet. It was perfectly fine to leave the cats for the day, they are independent but will also happily sit with you on the couch and keep you company. We would highly recommend Sheanne’s home and her cats to any future sitters. We were definitely treated as family and hopefully we will see Sheanne again either in Scotland or Australia!
