We had a wonderful time caring for Fiona's home and animals. There was a warm welcome on arrival and we were introduced to a lovely large house and our en-suite bedroom with a really comfortable bed. The dogs were great characters; affectionate and obedient - we particularly wanted to take Tonks home with us - gorgeous big beast! We loved our twice daily walk with the dogs through glorious countryside to feed Fiona's horse. Although we were inexperienced at this it proved a really satisfying experience. Caring for Ndege, the parrot, was an experience. He's rather territorial and can bite so we took it in turns to distract him in order to change his food and water and clean his cage each day. However, listening to his repertoire of noises and phrases was great fun. In particular his mimicking of the dogs barking had us going to see what the dogs were barking at on more than one occasion. We wouldn't hesitate to sit for Fiona's menagerie of animals again and would highly recommend it to anyone who applied.
I had a wonderful time looking after Neko in Nadine's gorgeous place. Neko was such a well behaved and loving girl, and an absolute pleasure to look after. Her and Nadine both made me feel very welcomed. In such a great location and such a great place (not to mention to the great company) I would jump at the chance to look after Neko again.
My longest sit to date, almost 8 weeks altogether, and I couldn´t have even dreamt of a better one: dream pet and dream host, great accommodation in the great city of Seoul, South Korea. The time just flew by. Archie; a 6-year-old Havanese who, in no time, has become my no 1 priority and the love of my life. Everyone loves Archie. Great with people, children, and other dogs. Friendly, loving, very well-behaved, and sweet as pie. Our morning cuddles in bed were simply priceless. He loves the cuddles and tummy rubs as well as long walks and investigating sniffs but above all, he loves to sit on a bench next to you and observe the world go by. You can take him with you anywhere and everywhere. If you´re looking for a perfect pet - stop right here ... you´ve found him. Rebecca; a perfect host to match the perfect pet. If you´re looking for perfect accommodation - stop right here ... you´ve found it. All in all: if you ever get a chance to sit Archie don´t even give it a second thought - grab it. This is a truly superb superb superb housesit and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Million stars all the way.
