We had a fantastic sit at Ruth's, looking after friendly Poppy and Frankie. The house is beautifully decorated, really comfortable and in a lovely quiet location with gorgeous views and a close drive to beaches and a forest. There are also walks from the door, via country roads. Poppy and Frankie were easy to look after. Frankie is very enthusiastic and needs slightly firmer handling - particularly first thing in the morning or if you've been away a couple of hours. Poppy is calmer. They both are very affectionate and we became really fond of them. Ruth's communication was great - she provided plenty of useful information, via a video call, messages and in person. It was good to meet her first and have lunch together before she set off. We hope we can come back sometime for another sit!
A wonderful trio, and a beautiful barn conversion with gorgeous views. Susannah and Peter were very welcoming and kind, and throughout the sit they were quick to respond to any queries. Boo (Bailey) is an absolute angel, as an old boy he doesn't want to go far and enjoys lounging like a beautiful white rug on the stone floor. Henry has a bit more energy but saves most of this for dealing with Bert, he is also big on lounging, and particularly enjoys his sofa if Bert doesn't get to it first. Bertie is an adorable scoundrel of a pup who likes to test Henry's tolerance (and tail, ears, fur etc.) a few times a day. He's a good boy outside and often likes to make his own fun with a toy or a twig. They are all extremely loving, good natured and obedient, and we miss them very much. The chickens were very friendly and pleasant, they happily let us go about our business and produced beautiful eggs. The house is full of modern conveniences as well as a pool table and jukebox and the mezzanine has beautiful views over the fields towards the village. There are also some bird feeders right by the kitchen doors which have a constant stream of visitors that allow you to get incredibly close to them. We are very grateful to have been given the opportunity to do our first sit in such a beautiful home with such wonderful dogs and are sure future sitters will agree.
Ruby is a easy-going and lovely dog. She is very affectionate, loves asking for cuddles when you are sitting on the sofa. The house is very confortable and well located. Jo was very nice and welcoming. Thanks for choosing me :), I really enjoyed the days shared with Ruby.
Always a pleasure to sit for Kim and Scott! They are awesome people with awesome and snuggly pups! They leave detailed info for house and dog keeping and make coming and going easy and the stay so amazing! Will definitely be so very happy to go back and get all the snuggles from Riley and Seamus!
Nous avons maintenu une communication quotidienne via WhatsApp. Tout s'est bien passé.
I enjoyed Catherine s home and adorable pets. I hope I will get invited to stay at her home in the future. Regards Ronnie
