We left our dog Rosie in the very capable hands of Debs for 12 days and could not be happier or felt she was in safer hands. Debs treated rosie as her own and you can tell how much she loves all the dogs she takes care of. Rosie made a lovely bond with Debs and all the dogs, but especially with her puppy which was lovely to see. Debs kept me updated daily with photos and videos and it looks like Rosie had the time of her life, we were slightly worried she wouldn't want to leave! We would highly recommend Debs to anyone who asked and will use her services again in a heartbeat.

Well what can we say, Deb's has been amazing with our Barney! Her home boarding service is brilliant! We wouldn't trust anyone else with our dog. Her expertise and knowledge is phenomenal and we know Barney is safe in her care. Barney had a wonderful stay so much so he would of happily stayed with her! It is definitely a home from home service and nothing is a bother for Deb's she is very accommodating. We really loved all the photos and videos we received of Barney whilst he was there and it warmed our hearts seeing how happy and settled he was and also how much love, care and fuss he recieved it blew us away! We can't recommend Deb's enough! Barney had an amazing time and he can't wait to stay again! Thanks again for treating Barney like one of your own, he's made a friend for life ❤️🐶🐾

Our precious Hugo went to the wonderful girls at Woof Around The Clock for his first holiday whilst we went abroad. We were nervous to leave him to say the least but we absolutely need not have worried at all. From the first visit before the stay, we were put completely at ease. Debs and Neeley asked lots of questions so they could get to know all about Hugo, his needs, likes and dislikes and how best to care for him. It was abundantly clear that their love of dogs is so strong, and nothing we asked of them was too much trouble. We got regular updates and photos and Hugo has a fantastic time and it was plain to see how well cared for he had been as well as the adventures he had been on. It’s with no hesitation that I wholeheartedly recommend Woof Around The Clock to anyone who is looking for a holiday home for their dog. I wouldn’t allow Hugo to go any where else now, I trust them implicitly and I’m just so pleased we found them.

I couldn’t recommend Woof Around the Clock enough! They are fantastic! My two dogs love going to stay and I have the added bonus of not worrying about them when they do. Lots of pictures or video updates keep me happy. Debs and Neels love our dogs as their own and have created such a special bond. Toby absolutely loves his walks with Debbs and looks forward to her calling to collect him. We can't thank her and her dogs for helping to keep him company while we are at work, socialising him with other dogs and altoghter just being great. We love the fact we receive photos and videos of his adventures too! brilliant. We would definitely recommend Debbs and her gang. Mabel has just returned from a 2 week holiday with Woof around the clock .she was looked after as if she was one of their own .treated with lots of love and attention .we had daily photos and videos showing her adventures. We couldn't recommend Woof Around the Clock enough! They have both been fantastic with Rorie, we can go to work or away for a couple of nights and we're not worried at all and know she's having the best time! Rorie is quite a bouncy dog, they have been great reinforcing basic training as well as practicing more advanced training. They are reliable, flexible and professional. They've been a massive help through a change of circumstances and after her operation, they really do treat her like one of their own! Rorie loves going and comes back absolutely knackered which is always a bonus! X

What an incredible couple to look after your dogs whilst you are away. Debs and Neels walk our 2 dogs every week and board them when we need to go away without them. The true testament to how good they are is how much our dogs love them and how excited they are to see debs every single week. Our dogs are our babies and we wouldnt leave them with just anyone. Knowing these guys are on hand to step in and love them like their own when we arent here is just invaluable

I would definitely recommend woof around the clock. My cockapoo Charlie has been with these two girls for months now he has a dog walk twice a week and now is getting some one to one training with debs because he is very livley to say the least. He has also home boarded with them aswell which he loved because it’s just like home from home. You get regular updates, photo’s and videos which is very reassuring. Nothing is to much trouble for them they have helped me immensely with Charlie giving lots of advice and tips. I can’t thank them enough so if your looking for any of there services you will not go wrong. Thank you girls and must not forget Charlie adores you both 🐶🐶🐶🐶😊😊😊😊

Left our two 5 month old ‘Springadors’ with Woof Around The Clock for 8 nights. As it was the first time leaving them we were worried, however there was absolutely no need! We were sent loads of messages, videos and photos of the pups as well as being able to see their adventures with the gang on the Facebook page. We will definitely be booking the dogs in again in the future, it is home from home boarding at its best!

A great traditional boarding kennels, Charlie my Westie has been staying here regularly since he was a pup. He's now 8 years old and we have never had a problem with the service we received from Kind Care. 😁👍 …

I used this place for my cat a few years ago and havent taken her back since. Awful vibe from staff and just in general. cattery next to kennels so she was really stressed. When I picked her up and I asked how she was, barely got a response. Things might have changed but would never go back.

We left our 2 miniature dachshunds here for 2 weeks in May. We provided our own food rather than use the kennels. We called regularly to check in and see how they were and we were told fine every time even on the penultimate day. Our youngest was so thin when he came home his ribs and spine were visible. I called to explain how unhappy and shocked I was and was told that they fed him the amount of food we had said and that she was sorry they hadn’t noticed. I asked why no one called us when he started to lose weight and ask if we wanted to increase his food and again was told that they didn’t notice his weight loss. His weight loss was VERY noticeable. The picture is the following day after he was collected. He had been to the vet 2 weeks prior for his kennel cough jab and told he was a healthy weight. We will never be using again.

The kennels are in beautiful surroundings. They walk dogs on large field near to kennels. Seems like good value. I've never seen the kennels themselves, so I can not review but feels professional enough. You need to make sure your dog is vaccinated and up to date with kennel cough treatment

We have used this cattery for over 16 years , the actual care plus housing for pets is very good . The cattery pens have heated bedrooms , the actual location is beautiful.

Lovely kennels to leave your furry family members, our dogs loved it there. They were looked after so well I would have no hesitation in recommending these kennels. The people there and the care given was first class we will be taking our dogs there again.

My two staff's stayed there for 10 days in june and when we got back I was met with two very happy dogs with waggy tails.

The owners are very polite and friendly, they have been taken great care of my Bull X Greyhound for several weeks now charging what i would say is a very reasonable price. I highly rate Kind Care, someone recommended this kennels to me and I would strongly recommend to anyone needing to board their dog or cat. Owned by an ex vet, positive about animals and very professional.

Donna and Mark offer an amazing and reliable dog walking service. We’ve used Angels for around 2 years. I know Maggie is safe and looked after even with all her complexities and she loves to see mark walk through the door. He goes above and beyond and is so caring towards her. Can’t recommend enough!

We were so pleased to have Donna look after our reactive bedlington. She did a house sit so that we could go away for the first time in 3 years. Donna sent regular texts and videos of our dog and kept to his daily routine as much as possible. He seemed very happy and relaxed with Donna. Many thanks for a wonderful service.

Donna and Mark are absolutely fantastic, we have 3 day care and 2 afternoon walks booked every week for our border collie jax who absolutely loves both of them. They communicate well and when we have boarded with them the family thy has had jax send regular updates and we’ve had no worries at all. Lovely people and we’d be lost without them

We take our pup to doggy day care twice a week. Donna is a great business woman and very attentive with all her customers, you instantly feel at ease when dropping your little one off with her. Our puppy's confidence and social experience has grown so much since her time with Donna she has grown into a calm young lady. We met Donna through her puppy training classes and thought it would be an amazing opportunity to boost her skills and confidence further with Donna through day care.

I can’t rate Donna highly enough. Bailey did his puppy training with Donna and I’ve used her daycare facilities for about 4 months with not a single problem. Bailey has lots of fun when he spends the day with Donna and her team and he’s made lots of puppy friends. Angels Pet Care is very good value for money and she is very flexible when it comes to cancelling days or adding days at short notice. Keep up the good work!!

Can't recommend Angels petcare highly enough. Donna and her team have been a great help to us and our working cocker spaniel puppy. Very professional and friendly, they do a great job with the dogs and regularly post photo/video updates from the walks on their Facebook page. Donna visited us before the first daycare session and gave some advice on training techniques in the home, which has helped us enormously. We were able to get our puppy Daisy started at very short notice (following week) which again was really good. Very glad we contacted Donna and has been a good all round experience, in socialisation as well as the exercise, for Daisy, she seems very happy each time she goes. Thanks again!

We have 2 Dalmatians that are walked every week by Angels Pet care, I couldn't trust anyone more than Donna & her team to look after my dogs. The advice Donna also gives is next to none & I would always turn to her in terms of needing help with my dogs. Photos are constantly posted on the facebook page to show you what your dogs have been up to! We have also used to the dog sitting service with short notice & the dogs were very happy & I also received photos of how they were doing. I would definitely recommend this knowledgeable & experienced team for any of their services.

We used a previous dog walker who discontinued her dog walking service. My westie can be a little difficult at times to manage but Donna and the team have been so patient. They spent time meeting my parents with Alfie away from my house and it was clear Alfie was going to be just fine. It's good to see Alfie mixing with other dogs on his walk a too. Donna tells me Alfie is fine with all her team which is very reassuring as i was worried how he would be with strangers in the house. It also helps that Donna is an accredited dog trainer. I have had situations where I have needed last minute dog walking and Donna has always been able to help which is great.

My cockapoo puppy started attending puppy day care at Angel's pet care when she was 2.5 months old, it gave me the confidence to go to work knowing my puppy was in good hands and not alone all day since i can't get home from work to see her at lunch time. Donna and Mark are brilliant, I've noticed such a difference in the puppies behaviour since attending day care, she's much better around other dogs and humans. Quiet evenings are a testament to how much fun she has at daycare!

We have recently moved back home to Scotland after living in Newcastle for 2.5 years and if I could pick Donna and the girls up and move them it would be great. We went through a few walkers in Newcastle before finally finding Donna our bulldog Bella can be pretty stubborn and head strong as they are but they were great with her nothing was too much trouble and we felt she was improving with every walk. I am genuinely so sad that Bella won't have these walks anymore as they were so good with her and I would recommend them 100 times over especially to people who have dogs that can be a little bit mischievous. Rhiannon has been looking after my cats for the past few years. My cats adore her. She sends daily updates & photographs when I go away, so I can relax knowing they're happy & in good hands. 5 stars. Highly recommended.

Our rabbit Oreo is always so well looked after with visits when we go on holiday and Alfie our dog absolutely adores her! Rhiannon has walked my three dogs for four years now, both nervous rescues and my boisterous Frenchie, adore her. I trust her implicitly with them all, she knows all their little funny ways and reports anything of concern to me straight away. I get the most gorgeous photos of their daily walks and when we see her out and about, they cannot wait to get to say hello. That says it all for me! Rhinannon is a 100% reliable and trustworthy dog walker and we love that she walks your dogs only, and not with a bunch of other dogs. They are madly in love with her and the 1h excercise is 1h straight walking from door and back (as it should be, and not being driven somewhere and then getting a walk there). Though we have a fixed timeslot every working day, she is also always ready to help out over the weekends or come earlier / later if we need it. I can and have recommended Doggy&Moggy Maid to serveral people and I don't know anyone who is not an absolute fan! 10/10 stars!

Absolutely fantastic; the Doggy and Moggy Maid have been taking my elderly Cavalier, Amber out for twice weekly walks for over 12 months; she has gone from being a dog that hid under the bed whenever the word 'walk' and 'lead' was mentioned to now waiting by the door for her 30 minute outing. The service is tailored to the needs of the individual dog (the big advantage of one-to-one attention), they are treated with total kindness and affection - stopping if the dog wants to sniff or just have a rest; the dog is talked to the whole time - offering reassurance and encouragement, if needed. I trust the Doggy and Moggy Maid implicitly, certainly the regular walks with such a caring person has made a huge positive difference to Amber!

I’ve been a client of the Doggy & Moggy Maid for almost 7 years….not only does my Labradoodle, Hamish, get taken on walks, he has also been helped by Rhiannon to return when called & to walk nicely….. Rhiannon is very genuine, kind & knowledgeable…..she loves all animals, & this is very evident….our Hamish loves her, & so do we….. She is very reliable & in all the years I’ve known her she has never cancelled my appointment…..

I have been using Nodding Dogs for a while now. First with my Labrador, Wilson who is now 2 1/2 and now with my puppy Maggie as well. Both dogs love going there. The whole house has been given up for doggy care. The dogs are pretty much allowed to access all areas so no one is left out of anything. There is a great enclosed garden for playtime and toy boxes….the dogs know where these are and can choose what they like. Jo is very knowledgeable and also very professional. The dogs go for beach runs, walks to the park and sometimes to the pub! Jo treats them like her own. I can go away and know that my dog are safe, are being exercised and are probably having a better time than me! It’s been a great way to socialise my dogs…..especially Maggie who is still only 14 wks. I would highly recommend Nodding Dogs to take care of your fur babies!

My Lab, Sally (1), stayed for 1 week over the New Year. She didn’t want to leave! Jo kept in contact to let me know how she was, sent plenty of photos over throughout the week and didn’t get fed up with me constantly asking for updates! Sally got on really well with her dogs and I felt at ease the whole time I was away. Jo is very friendly & knowledgable about dogs and their needs so your dog will be in safe hands. Couldn’t recommend enough and will defo be using Nodding Dogs again!

We were lucky to find nodding-dogs Home Boarding, our dog Izzy has recently stayed for two weeks. Whilst we were away on holiday we had regular photos and updates from Joanne to reassure us. Izzy has returned happy and content, we would highly recommend nodding dogs home boarding. Joanne is very professional and passionate about all of her dogs.

Our 1yr old Cocker Spaniel has just had a 4 night stay with Jo at Nodding-dogs and I'm happy to say that Jo survived the experience that is Mylo! He is going back tomorrow for a 12 night stay and we are more than happy to leave him with Jo. She is a very capable and experienced dog minder and we feel he couldn't be in a better place! Our experience with Jo has been excellent from the beginning. She genuinely cares about providing the best care tailored to your dog's needs, not only looking after them but also helping us understand areas where our dog's behavior can improve and things we can work on. We left our labradoodle with Jo for the week, and he had an absolute blast. He enjoyed numerous beach visits, received plenty of one-on-one attention, socialised with other dogs, and we received frequent updates while we were away. I have complete confidence in Jo and would gladly leave our labradoodle with her again. It was like a little holiday for him, thanks Jo!

Teddy’s had an amazing time at nodding-dogs ! Joanne is a great host , she treats the dogs like her own always kept up to date with photos and messages . Teddy’s had some lovely long walks in different places ,her gardens amazing for the dogs to run and play . Definitely recommend . This lady knows her stuff and my dog had a five star holiday she thinks of everything to make sure your dogs looked after ! Teddy will definitely be back .

Where do I start! Jo opened her home and heart to our 2 year old frenchie Alan who is a reactive dog, we had him booked in for a weeks holiday but before hand we met up and Jo helped me understand his behaviour better which we worked with at home, I was nervous about leaving Alan with anyone but I couldn’t have asked for a better home for him to go to! Jo is so understanding of the dogs she looks after and definitely makes them (and us) feel part of her family! He was one happy dog the whole week and we were given a full written report on his stay when we got home! 5* plus boarding! Thank you again Jo, Alan’s already looking forward to his next holiday with you and your beautiful girls!! Xx

Our border terrorist Ozzy has stayed with Jo many times now & he loves it, he gets on great with Ella & phoebe her 2 labs, we can totally relax when we are away on holiday because we know he's in good hands and well looked after. I cannot rate Arlene highly enough for anyone looking for a safe, reliable home from home environment for their dogs when going away. I have 3 sausage dogs - all very different personalities, and they love staying with Arlene, and her pooch Walt. I get messages and photos of updates and what they’ve been doing. I have used Arlene for coming up 5 years - weekends away up to 3 weeks vacation, and wouldn’t put my pups anywhere else. I feel comfortable knowing that they are well loved and can enjoy the outdoor space at their leisure, as it’s all secure and they literally have the run of Arlene’s home and garden to use as they please. Routines are followed, as are my requirements to crate overnight. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

I have boarded my dogs with Mike and Arlene for several years. My experience has always been a positive one and I have absolute confidence in Spotti Dog. My retriever is always happy to be dropped off and enjoys her holidays in Netherwitton. I know I can relax whilst away knowing she is in safe hands.

I found Arlene and Mike pre-covid just after my move up to Northumberland, and I would not send my two Norfolk terriers anywhere else. I have used their services a dozen times now for both day boarding and extended periods whilst away on holiday. Both dogs love going over to visit, mix very well with Walt their cockapoo, and always hate leaving when its time to go. If you are looking for a home-from-home dog boarding experience, somewhere safe and comfortable which will give you piece of mind, then I strongly recommend you pay them a visit.

We have boarded Kimba with Arlene and Mike for many years it is home from home Kimba loves to go she jumps out of the car and runs straight into the house . I would recommend anyone to use them for boarding there dogs while on holiday and have recommend them to many people who have also been extremely happy when leaving there dogs with Arlene and Mike

We were delighted when we found Arlene and Mike to look after our Border Terrier and provide a home environment for her to stay in. She has benefited from socialising with other dogs and loves their dog Walt.

Bad experience. Left our German Pointer and Springer for 11 days, they weren’t taken out for a walk once. German Pointer came back underweight, stressed out and depressed. I could feel her ribs so she clearly hadn’t been eating properly. When I raised my concerns with the business owner she dismissed them and reverted with unfair comments, including an allegation that my dogs are “intimidating” to other dogs about their food. This is completely normal animal behaviour to defend food, especially when they are not being fed enough! The failure to exercise the dogs properly is a dereliction of responsibility in my view especially when the boarding rates are at the higher end of the scale.

Mike was great with Izzy and she was really at home whilst we were away which allowed us to enjoy our trip without worrying about her! Mike gave us regular pupdates and was always helpful and friendly! Izzy will definitely be back to see him again soon

Left 3 ferrets here when I went on holiday. I suspected two of the ferrets were pregnant, turns out I was right, one of the ferrets gave birth to 12 kits that were well looked after. Owners are very nice and very welcoming. Highly recommended. Thank you lads and thank you Debbie from dirty woofers

My WCS was booked in for a few days due to family visiting late May. However, I broke my knee a few days before he was due in. George managed to take Toby in early to help me out while I was recovering, and kept him longer than arranged, so I could find my feet at home with crutches. We kept in touch regularly with updates on how he was doing, and despite my worry (he can be excitable and energetic) they provided much needed reassurance that he was absoloutely fine, and I wasn't being a pest! Which is always a huge help when dogs are in kennels. We collected Toby today, after a fantastic groom with Debbie next door, and he is so chilled out, relaxed and content. He's clearly had a lovely little (extended) holiday, which was invaluable to me and great for him! Nothing was too much of a problem, despite my worry, he was packed off for 3 weeks with his teddy and chews, and has returned very chilled and happy. Having read some of the other reviews, I'd happily recommend grange villa kennels and look forward to taking Toby back!

Boarded two dogs here for two days. Will never use these kennels again. Dogs and their beds were absolutely filthy and smelling of urine when we collected them. Place is disgusting, both my dogs were really distressed

We have boarded our little jackawawa here three times in the last 8 months and have never had a problem. George and his son Lee are no bother at all and we wouldn't go anywhere else. Already booked our little dog in again for a week in May 2024.

Absolutely disgusting place and rude staff, My dog was placed here while I was poorly and I went to visit her the place is dirty the kennels are cold and wet. When the man went to collect my dog he didn’t even introduce himself I seen him get my dog and he went to put her lead on and she cowered over she’s never done this ever! My dog was covered in dog pee, She had no toys either. I immediately removed her from this kennel! Also the staff are very rude and don’t communicate well when I tried to contact them. I will never be using this kennel again and I strongly advise nobody to place their pets here. Grange villa Kennels you need closing down

Dropped Maddie off for 2 weeks, picked her up and she was happy, healthy and had no issues other than her scratching at the concrete so they moved her to another kennel and all was fine.

Didn't get a good vibe when I dropped our dog off, feels run down and told dogs are only let out 20 mins twice a day then in their individual concrete room the rest of the time. First time I have used a kennel so not sure how this compares to others. If we had another option not sure we would have left him. Then read the reviews after about the son, not sure if true, but made me feel dreadful. Owner himself seems lovely but obviously can not manage without his son. Dog seemed fine on picking him up and has settled back at home perfectly so believe he has been treat well, but not sure I would use again.

Not a clean place and driving up to the property gives you that impression right away. Would most certainly not use again.

Our Labrador (Richard) loves staying at East Wing Dog Sitting, he waltzes in like it is his second home. I can't recommend them enough.

They were very good with my dog, she was well looked after and she was always happy to be there.
