Annette and Mike are wonderful hosts! Very kind and accommodating. Their home is lovely and the location is peaceful with lots of nature and some excellent opportunities of walks. And last but certainly not least, Hugo is a sweet pup. He's really energetic when out on a walk, but very chill at the house. He was more than happy to lounge next to me on the sofa. If I have the chance to sit for Annette and Mike again I would jump at the chance.
So great! Mista Feesh is a loveable rogue and the flat is in an awesome location. Tim & Robin couldn’t have been more Helpful and friendly. Gave me all the information (loved the handout!) and made me feel so welcome. Thoroughly enjoyed it, would definitely repeat and recommend to other sitters
Marie France and her husband Edwardo are lovely people and very welcoming and hospitable. Tam Tam is a sweet-natured English Setter and very patient with her younger and sometimes easily excitable Yorkie buddy Leo. Her deafness wasn't ever a problem, although she likes being able to see you and sometimes get anxious if she doesn't know where you are. Leo is a tiny fluffy bundle of cute energy who likes cuddles, and although he barks sometimes at passing traffic or people he does listen to instructions when told to quieten down or come. They were both friendly, affectionate dogs and we enjoyed taking care of them. The house itself is spacious with wooden floors and a lovely outdoor area and large lawn to enjoy the sun on nice days. It's about 10 minutes walk from the Cactus Supermarket and 20 minutes to the cheaper Aldi. A train station is a 2-3 minute walk, and it takes around 40 minutes to reach central Luxembourg with trains running every 30 minutes. An all day pass costs just 4 Euros for unlimited train and bus trips.
It took me about 5 minutes to fall in love with this entire family…Susan, Cody and precious dog, Marley. They all made me feel so at home and so welcome. I never felt awkward or as if I was intruding. They invited me in and insisted I make their home…my home. Marley is the sweetest pup ever. He really enjoys bonding with the people and is very easy to communicate with. He is not a high maintenance dog and enjoys time with you as much as he enjoys his own personal space. He is a complete joy. If you get an opportunity to share time with this family, I promise, you won’t be disappointed.
