Bernard recently did a sit for us for a 4 week period and I have to say he was by far the best pet / house sitter we have ever had. From the first time we met Bernard we instantly felt comfortable with leaving the care of our two cats and our aquatic pets with him. Bernard clearly has a love for animals and our cats were quickly comfortable with him. Our boy Bertie is usually a bit shy with strangers however was quickly bonded with Bernard. Bernard kept us updated the whole trip and regularly sent pictures and videos. As for the care of the pets and hour home, if we could give more than 5 stars we would. Everything was perfect. We have 3 fish tanks which can be a little challenging to maintain however when we came home they were all as clean as the day we left them. Our house was immaculate and Bernard had even reorganised our kitchen so it was better set out than when we left. Overall we can truly recommend Bernard for any pet sitting needs you may have. I'm pretty sure our cats missed him when he left 😄. We are hoping Bernard will be able to house sit for us again in the future.
As first time users we were a little nervous about how our animals would respond. However, Anna was exceptional in her care for our 2 dogs and 2 cats! Not only did they respond to her kindness and caring nature she was understanding of their various characters and idiosyncrasies! This was Sam's second sit for us and he proved again to be reliable and responsive and kind. In addition to caring for our pigeons, we especially appreciated his daily (plus?) watering of our many bonsai. Unexpected extreme heat and nearby fires made watering regularly crucial. Sam also provided a little additional support by bringing in and setting out packages for my work.
