Alison was a brilliant house sitter, very relaxed and easy going but very organised when it came to the family menagerie. She was totally self sufficient and when we returned the house was immaculate. The dogs were happy and relaxed as were the ducks and hens. Alison only had 3 days at our house but I wouldn't hesitate to have her for longer. I would have Alison back to house sit any day.
We met Gladys, the day before our sit, in order to introduce us to Riley. Riley, really is the most adorable dog, I think we both fell a little bit in love with her. She loved attention and cuddles. The apartment was within walking distance of shops, bars and a lovely river walk. If you get the chance to look after Riley, do so, she is fab. X
This was a very nice sit. Lisa is a good communicator and she lent us her car which enabled us to explore the region. It was our third rabbit sit but the first cage free, we got closer to Mim than previous rabbits. We really enjoyed her. If we ever get back to the region we would gladly sit for Lisa and Mim
S’occuper de Gaia durant 2 mois aura été un réel charme. Elle est enjouée, attachante et très active (elle sera toujours partante pour une marche dans le bois derrière la maison). La maison de Maryse et sa forêt - avec des sentiers qu’elle entretient avec son conjoint - sont un véritable havre de paix. Il est d’ailleurs possible d’y faire du télétravail (la connexion internet est excellente et le calme des environs rend ca très productif). Différentes attractions sont aussi situées dans les environs. Bref, j’ai tout aimé de ce moment de pause de la grande ville. Je recommande définitivement Maryse et sa belle Gaia! (Merci encore Maryse!)
Clive’s place in Azabu is great, really close to the centre of Tokyo with loads of cool shops and restaurants around. Clive and his wife made us feel very welcome and even left some food for us as well, which was nice :) Their place is big (by Tokyo standards!) and clean. And of course Momo and Whochan are lovely. Whochan mostly sleeps during the day, coming out for a few head scratches every so often. Momo is adorable and chill and sat quietly on my knee while I worked during the day. Thanks for a lovely stay!
Katharine was lovely and we had great communication throughout my sit. She has a beautiful apartment in a great location in Santa Monica. Nala and Bruce were such a delight to take care of - so affectionate but very 'chill' as well. I found it easy to work done while they were in the apartment with me, but they were always up for a snuggle or playing around for a break! Nala loves walking and took me on the walks she wanted - it was so cute to have her turn down certain streets to take ME for a walk! Bruce is curious and is a lap cat - so adorable! The neighborhood is one of the best in Santa Monica - lots of friendly neighbors walking their dogs all hours of the day, amazing coffee shops and restaurants, and the beach is only a couple minutes walk away. Overall an amazing experience, thanks Katharine!
