Lovely place, lovely couple and amazing cats. Recommended 120%
This is an ideal sit for those who love horses and being in the country! Cedar is the perfect horse to stay with. She was surprisingly gentle with our toddler and Golden Retriever. We were impressed with her set-up, routine, how well she knows her breakfast and dinner routines, and how easy it was to care for her. She's super cute, because she is food obsessed and loves company while she eats. She eats non-stop and loves certain vegetable and fruit treats. When she sees you outside, she will always take a break from eating her grass to go out of her way to spend time with you. She seems to like children, and she was the perfect pony for my child to be around and learn to care for. Jana and Ed's ranch provided an incredible opportunity to be in nature, learn new things, and catch a break from the hustle and bustle. Quiet and private, we felt very comfortable in their home and on their property with nice neighbors down the road who would be quick to help if ever needed. The views are incredible and there's so much you can do, at least in the Summer. Most every day, we picked the best berries we had ever eaten and learned how to vacuum seal for storage. We drove the utility vehicle around their property, swam in a really nice swim spa, used their very high-speed internet for work, harvested vegetables that we enjoyed, and the Molalla River and waterfall hikes are so close by for swimming! Jana and Ed are laid-back, organized, accommodating, approachable, kind-hearted, folks. We felt very much welcomed and appreciated the entire time.
The Awberry family were a delight to meet and Truffle is an adorable puppy who is responding well to training. The house is very modern and comfortable with every gadget imaginable in the kitchen. The area is very beautiful with lots of lovely places to visit, Truffle is very happy to go with you for an outing. We highly recommend this sit.
