Chris and I really enjoyed our sit in Montmorillon, for Charlie the dog, Georgie the cat and Peter the rabbit. In spite of the rainy weather we visited the interesting nearby towns of Potiers and Chauvigny, and went on country walks. Charlie came everywhere with us , was a great car traveller and had lots of stamina for walking. Carol and John were very welcoming, and had a lovely meal ready for us when we arrived, plus a welcome pack. Our room was beautiful, very comfortable and with a large bathroom. We would definitely recommend this sit.
It was a pleasure staying in Jackie’s home and taking care of her sweet babies. Her home is very comfortable and has excellent access to buses and trains, if you don’t have a car. The three cats, Mishka, Luna, and Coco are beautiful and sweet, and Frankie, the pup, is very loving and fun to take on his walks. I would happily return.
From our first communication we knew we’d be made welcome and we weren’t wrong. Mo and Don were kind and we immediately felt comfortable. Elif, Benny and Honey are all beautiful loving animals who kept us entertained in very different ways. Elif appreciated lots of love and cuddles. She needed encouragement to move onto her beds as she struggles to stand in the wooden floors and her eyesight is fading. She’s a lovely girl with a gentle temperament. Benny and Honey love lots of play and cuddles. Benny is really funny especially when he’s looking for mischief. Honey is less mischievous but manages to keep Benny in check. Together they are very funny. The cats enjoyed being outside on their harnesses and needed supervision as they could get in a bit of a tangle. It was a real pleasure as they all have wonderful temperaments. The house is comfortable and well equipped. We’d happily return and recommend this sit to others.
Marina and Tony were veey welcoming and we were made to feel at home very quickly. Welcome guide was veey helpful and accurate about each of the animalswho are all great characters albeit demanding at times! Beautiful location wth fantastic dog walks. Thanks to Marina and the animals we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Karen was super welcoming! I only watched Abe as the other dogs were staying elsewhere but Abe was wonderful. He’s super sweet and for the most part chill except in the mornings and evening right after breakfast and dinner. We played fetch or catch twice a day, but it’s all very relaxed due to his age. He only plays for about 5-10 minutes then needs a nap again :).
