I really enjoyed my stay in Ellie's cottage. We had had great communication since the booking was confirmed, through emails and Skype so I felt I knew her before arriving for the sit. I was made to feel most welcome by Ellie, Mike and their 2 children. Ellie had a very comprehensive information folder prepared plus she showed me around the cottage before their departure. The cottage was very comfortable and well equipped. Monty was a joy to look after. He's so placid, lovable and thoroughly enjoyed his walks around the fields and woodland directly at the back of the cottage., and also playing ball. The village has a good inn and village shop and is serviced by a bus into Lewes, the closest town for shopping needs. It's also a great location for any sightseeing you might like to do. I would highly recommend this as a house sit and would be happy to look after Monty, the guinea pigs, Daisy and Twinkle, and the fish again.
I had a lovely long weekend looking after Buddy at his home in Bath! He is a really super affectionate and chatty cat who loves company! Scott & Anna gave me great instructions for a smooth sit and were very easy to communicate with! The house is well situated for easy access into Bath and there are a number of local amenities which make for an easy stay! I would highly recommend this sit!
This is a beautiful, clean home in a safe area with helpful, friendly neighbors. It is close to anything you need, yet wild enough to see moose a few houses down! The cats are well loved and cared for and very easy. They go out onto the deck and easily come back inside with no problem whatsoever. Brittana communicated continuously and was always available to answer any of my questions. If you love hiking and nature, there is no end of things to explore in this area, which is an easy drive from Anchorage. The streets are better lit and better marked than many roads in NC! Brittana had food available for us when we arrived to avoid a midnight grocery run. Her house is super clean and well organized. I would tell you to jump at the chance to do this, but I am selfish, so I will tell you not to apply. :) Thank you for unique, amazing memories with my kids!
We had the most amazing time staying with Dean’s and Nico’s doggos, Lola and Poppie, for almost 3 weeks in the centre of Barcelona! Lola and Poppie are extremely friendly, lovable and cuddly doggos with a lot of energy and we really quickly built a bond together! They need to be walked ideally 3 times a day, it was easy, since you anyway live in the city-centre and can occasionally pop-in to take care of the dogs. All what they love is playing with their ball outside in Tetuan park, better use the red ball throwing device to throw balls (was a real savior and with no sand and spit on your hands or feet). Inside the apartment they love playing with their favorite avocado toast. They don’t basically care about other dogs or humans as soon as they have their ball around:) Poppie is a lovely baby, who loves to play and cuddle in bed with you. Lola is a bit of a queen and protector and needs all the attention to her and really cute as well! Beware!!! When you come first time in the apartment, Lola might be testing you if you will play with her when she wants, so she will jump on your leg and hold it and might scratch you. It was a bit scary to me in the beginning, since I didn’t know what to do, but you should push her away and say loud “No”, “Off” or “Back”. I did the same procedure maybe 10 times and then she never repeated it and was always nice to me, just don’t worry if this happens, or it might never happen. Dean and Nico are both great human beings: attentive and always responsive! Despite of it being their first THS experience, they organized everything in a top-notch way! Was a pleasure to be in touch with you, guys! The location is a dream! It’s just a walking distance from most of coolest cafes, grocery stores and top-venues. The Barceloneta beach is 15 minutes away by public transportation or 25 minutes walk, La Sagrada Familia is 15 minutes walk. The apartment is the 2nd floor with elevator and it’s amazing, clean with a nice Barcelona gothic vibe, with a beautiful patio, a bit dark, but it will be helpful in a summer heat of Barcelona. Also it’s super quiet and peaceful, since all the windows are at at the back of the building , so you won’t hear traffic noises and people outside! Should give credit how perfectly the kitchen was equipped for cooking with all the necessary appliances! Overall, me and Steph had the most pleasant time when taking care Lola and Poppie! We totally recommend hanging out with Dean, Nico, Lola and Poppie to each and everyone, who will stumble upon the listing! You will have some of the greatest times of your life. We had such a wonderful stay in Madison with Melissa & Sals. Their house is so warm and welcoming and we felt right at home. Communication was great and they left excellent details on animal care and lots of great suggestions on what to do around town. I loved Rosie, Romeo and Betty- they are so funny and easy to walk around the neighborhood. The house is beautiful- clean and comfy with no shortage of things to do. Thank you for a great stay!!!
