Dog Sitters in Cromford

Max was my saviour when I had a late cancellation and he stepped in at the last minute to housesit for me for 2 months. And what a godsend he was! He looked after my dogs with love and care and dealt with every problem that came his way with intelligence and self reliance. But even better, he took on any tasks he thought needed doing ....cleaning my terrace tiles (it's a big terrace!) building new garden steps, varnishing my front door and doing any repairs he could. What an absolute star. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a caring considerate housesitter. Please come back!

We were very lucky to have caught Jemma and Kieran in between sits and at fairly short notice, when our usual arrangements with family fell through. It was clear from our initial zoom chat that they were going to be the perfect fit. We were impressed with their experience and the situations they had handled on previous sits, and we loved their passion for pets. Whilst we were away Jemma and Kieran sent regular updates and photos of our cat Violet. They took care to administer her medication and gave her plenty of attention, especially with her toys (Violet takes playtime very seriously!). They were particularly attentive with the house and garden, maintaining the hot tub and mowing the grass whilst we were away. It was lovely coming back to a clean home, with freshly made-up bed. They even got us some fresh baguettes and butter from our favourite store! They also got involved in some local volunteering activities, which was very welcomed in the community. Jemma and Kieran are a warm, friendly couple who are extremely diligent, reliable and thoughtful, and we’d happily have them back to sit.

Louise and her daughter looked after our cat and house for a weekend and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them! They were very friendly, and clearly won over our notoriously suspicious cat easily! They were very organised, great at communicating and the house was immaculate when we came home. Thank you!

Kat was great, my two furbabies loved her and did not seem to care that I was back home. Highly recommend and would have Kat back for sure.

What a great team. Steve Janet and Joe were a joy. As soon as we met them we were sure they would look after precious pets well. We had frequent pics of Lily Ruby and Minnie. The house was spotless on our return. Our bed was stripped and remade. Steve had very kindly collect Damsons for us. Just very kind reliable people, just hope they will sit for us again. Nigel and Pam were great. Molly was well cared for and had fabulous walks. The house was clean and tidy when we returned and they kept in touch with us whilst we were away as requested. I was sorry that the weather wasn’t nice enough to sit out in the garden. The big bonus was my garden. Pam worked so hard to help sort out beds and pots. She even sorted my greenhouse out and gave the tomatoes a good cut as well as trussing them for me. We were delighted and would love them to sit for us again. Thoroughly recommend them.

Thomas was great with my cats, they warmed to him straight away and he was especially good with my older cat who is sometimes overlooked when the kittens are around! Tom communicated well and arrived early so I could show him where everything was.

Amy did a fabulous job of look in after our cats and kept the flat super clean and tidy. We would recommend her for other pet parents looking for a lovely and responsible sitter for their pets

Cassie is one the nicest, most caring sitters we have ever experienced. Reggie required medicine during this sit which Cassie had no issue with giving him. She looked after both our babies so well and Reggie took a really liking to her (even sleeping at the bottom of the bed. Which is unheard of). She kept us well informed and sent some beautiful photos of them whilst we were away. The house was spotless when we came home. If you’re looking for a sitter who is passionate about animals and caring for the Cassie is the one. Welcome back here anytime!! Thank you so much!

Melissa took great care of the cats, she kept me updated with photos and left the house clean and tidy. Both me and the cats hope she can catsit again.

Would highly recommend Kay to look after your pets and home. Would definitely have Kay back. Doggies very well looked after. They loved the trip to the beach. Contact was very good. Definitely a 10/10 from us.
