Kylie made me feel so incredibly welcome and provided excellent notes and guidance on looking after Jake. Jake is the sweetest dog and I loved getting to know him and exploring the neighbourhood with him on long walks and runs in the area. Kylie's home is beautiful and has the most amazing pool - which was a much appreciated feature during a heat wave! Would love to return and house sit here again.
Helena and Adrian instantly felt like friends upon arrival. What nice people! We were treated to a lovely meal in the pub and couldn’t have felt more welcome! Their home is such a friendly and happy house, very well decorated and equipped, (loved the AGA and all the kitchensupplies) with a really comfortable bed and good shower. (That made Rob happy!) The two dogs are darlings! We truly enjoyed our morning walk to the river with them, through beautiful fields, with old Zilla happily gallopping down the hill and then bathing in the water and Minnie running like crazy after her swim. :) How lucky we were to have two weeks in this beautiful place! Dear Ade and Helena, (and Minnie and Zilla) thank you so much for a wonderful time in your ‘part of paradise’ and our new friendship, hope to see you again soon somewhere!
It was such a pleasure to look after Ollie! He's such an amazing super cool chilled out dog. He's affectionate but independent and so well behaved - we will miss him! Hunter & Alena were really welcoming and made us feel at home right away. Their home is in the best part of San Diego which is close to beaches and cafes etc. We would highly recommend this beautiful home and awesome pet to anyone looking to house sit in this part of the country.
Harriette and Dave so generously and graciously invited us into their beautiful home to care for and love their sweet Lucie. It was a very easy task to ask of us, as Lucie is a very loving dog! Their home is also in a fantastic gated neighborhood with kind neighbors who stop and say Hi to you or give a quick wave as they go by on their golf carts on the way to the private beach. And heads up, when you walk Lucie to the beach, for she is Queen! Everyone loves her, says Hello, and asks to give her a treat 😊 Harriette and Dave’s communication was great and we loved talking with both of them. We hope to see them all again soon!
Housesitting for Joshua was a great experience. He is an incredibly thoughtful person. He left us detailed notes about the house and the dogs which came in handy. Rhubarb and Gabby are amazingggggg!!!! Truly the most lovable pair you could hope for. Not only are they super cute, but they’re also a lot of fun to be around. We had a great time getting to know their personalities and coming up with new nicknames for them. They are so sweet and we miss them after the 3 weeks we spent with them. Joshua’s house is super cozy and the dogs make it even better. We highly recommend housesitting for him! 10 out of 10!
