Lilli was the best. She looked after my cat and my home for 10 days. Just before I came home she sent me a photo of my cat, who had settled into her suitcase. When I arrived my cat was relaxed and the house was as tidy as could be. Lilli communicated well, has lots of experience, and enjoys all kinds of animals (see her profile). I also prefer, when I can, to have someone in the house who knows Santa Fe -- if, for instance, my cat needed to go to the vet. Lilli does. She's one of two people I've met via zeewoi to whom I would happily reach out to the next time I travel.
Pamela was our second trusted sitter, and I cannot recommend her enough! My husband and I both feel lucky to have met her and are already looking forward to future sits. Pamela came to do a meet-and-greet with our dog Harper before the sit so they could get to know each other. Harper was immediately drawn to her and spent the time at the cafe cuddling up to her. This gave us incredible peace of mind during our time away from home. We also did a home walkthrough, and she was diligent in making sure she knew everything about caring for our dog. Pamela was always quick to respond to my check-ins and actively sent photos and videos of Harper while we were away. (With lots of scenes from the park where I could see Harper having the best time.) She was even able to accommodate a flight cancellation, which was a huge relief to an already stressful situation. We were able to have a wonderful time on our trip because of Pamela and are now comfortable planning more trips because we have found a reliable, kind, proactive, and truly zeewoi. Once again, I cannot stress enough how much I recommend Pamela. Her reliability, kindness, and proactive nature make her an exceptional choice to care for your pet.
Lourdes is a great house guest and Winnie simply adores her. I have no hesitation recommending her and really look forward to her doing more house sits for me in the future. Definitely the best sitter I have had. Thanks so much Lourdes!
Kima was so very welcoming and Zu is just the sweetest cat! I felt at home in the house, the bed is comfortable, and Kima has all-u-can-eat blackberries in her backyard 😉😋. Zu really was a delight to care for and to hang out with! The house is located in a fun, historic, neighborhood.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Helen and Ted’s place. Sadly we never got to meet “the girls” but were very happy to mind the house, garden and birds while Ted and Helen enjoyed a few well earned days away. Such thoughtful and generous hosts! The house is comfortable and located in a wonderful neighborhood with abundant walking/cycling trails around several lakes. We also walked to the Plenty Gorge Park, where we saw many kangaroo. Dave even saw one around the neighborhood lakes during an early morning walk. We are delighted to count Helen and Ted as dear friends, and would not hesitate to recommend this sit.
I has such a lovely weekend with Coco and Bailey and Karen’s family of cats and rabbits too:)! Karen was fantastic at communicating before, during and after the sit. She provides a good guide with all info needed for sitters and is warm and friendly. We spent a lovely 40mins chatting when I arrived , she answeared all my questions, welcomed me into her space and gave me a great tour of her home and the pets routines. Coco and Bailey are loving and active dogs , they love to run, play chase together on walks and sleep close to a sitter or curled up on the sofa when resting at home. They are great at being left alone too for 3 hours I found when out one day. I’d definitely recommend time with Coco and Bailey and all Karen’s family. A delightful meeting with Usha, where she showed me around their lovely home and introduced me to dear Luna. Stephen & Usha have a cosy home, where you feel comfortable instantly. Luna is the first cat I've met who purrs constantly when I'm around her. It's just incredible how loving this cat is. It was so adorable that she followed me around the house and was ready to connect at any time. The whole experience was so positive that I'd love to come back to pet-sit Luna again.

Timaru Big thumbs up, the place to go if you’re looking for a new pet. I initially contacted Fionnuala about adopting a second greyhound having seen a lovely looking dog on the website. From the get go Fionnuala was so helpful and informative. She asked us about our lifestyle, routine, location, people and animals living in the house etc etc and quickly advised that the dog I was looking at would probably not be a good fit. A few days later she sent me photos and a description of Ruby, who has been living with us just over two weeks now. Throughout the whole process Fionnuala was so helpful and accommodating. First we visited Ruby in Limerick and were able to bring both our kids and our other greyhound to that meeting. We met Ruby in a nice quiet room and were able to sit down and get to know her for a good half hour. Both dogs (and children) were allowed off lead to sniff (and lick) us all with Fionnuala and James quietly watching to ensure all went smoothly. We took Ruby home a week after first meeting her and again, Fionnuala has been so helpful and attentive. She texted morning and evening for the first few days to make sure everything was going well and then once a day for the rest of the first week and checks in every couple of days now, so I never felt like I was bothering or annoying her with questions . Most importantly, following Fionnuala’s advice on what greyhound would suit us has paid off in spades. Ruby has settled in amazingly well in our very noisy house. She is happy and confident but also relaxed and gentle with our kids. Our current greyhound is happier for having company and the two of them potter around the garden like little old ladies despite being quite young! Judging by the happy and healthy dogs there, it’s evidently clear that Fionnuala loves and nurtures the dogs in her care. She knows each dog and knows what kind of environment they will thrive in.
I cannot recommend Fionnuala, James and all at Timaru Kennels enough. From the first moment I went to Timaru Kennels, I was welcomed with warmth and compassion by Fionnuala and James. They took the time to understand my preferences, lifestyle, and answer any questions I had. Their dedication to matching the right dog with the right owner was evident, and they made the entire rehoming process smooth and stress-free.The kennels do a fantastic job of caring for the dogs in their care. Coco was well-groomed, healthy, and had received all necessary vaccinations. I received her passport too. I cannot express enough gratitude to the team at Timaru Kennels for their dedication to caring so well for every animal that they can. Their compassion, professionalism, and genuine love for these animals shine through in everything they do. Thank you Timaru Kennels, Coco has brought so much happiness to my home.
We could probably write so much but will try and reflect important points. We are a family of 4 with 2wee kids 7 years and another 18 months. We always wanted a Dog but didn’t know where to start. Got in touch with IRGT and they put us in touch with Timaru Kennels (Fionnula) who understood our family circumstances and working schedules. We were matched with Xena our gorgeous girl and we were provided with all the details, information about her and all our queries were answered in absolute professional way. Fionnula had been so helpful in making this whole process so easy and it was a wonderful experience. Finally the day came when we drove from Co. Monaghan to Co. Limerick to meet the pet And she was exactly what we were hoping her to be🥰 We had a tour of Kennels and got to see the other dogs and we must say they were in excellent condition, cared for and looked very happy. We rightly knew that we were in right place to get our first greyhound! We brought Xena home and she settled in well. All her vaccines and other stuff was up to date. We got her passport too. And after few weeks we received the transfer of ownership too in the post. Hats off to Timaru Kennels for doing such a fab job, it’s not easy to match a dog to a new family with kids, different lifestyle, working hours , etc etc when it can be so complicated, but Fionnula knows her dogs what can I say- more than we could imagine! Xena has settled in so well, it’s been 1 month now and during this time Timaru Kennels have been in touch with us whenever we needed their help- providing support to us being new dog owners, really great help! Thanks for everything 😊 We will be back very soon to adopt another Greyhound from Timaru Kennels and we highly recommend their services. We have been sending our collie to Timaru Kennels for the last 2 years. He is a dog that doesn't 'take' to everyone, however he loves it at Timaru Kennels. Fionnuala and James clearly have a gift with animals. Buddy is always so happy to see them and always looks great when we collect him. We can't recommend the guys at Timaru Kennels enough, they are exceptional.

I adopted a beautiful greyhound two weeks ago via the Irish Retired Greyhound Trust from Timaru Kennels and cannot thank Fionnuala and her husband enough for their care, advice, and support. They truly love these incredible dogs so much and do everything in their power to find them excellent homes, providing support to the new owners from before adoption to way way after. These wonderful gentle dogs are beautifully cared for and prepared for their new lives as domestic pets in the best way possible. James & Fionnuala are really animal caring people and our Irish setter Rosie struggled with kennels in general but found her place now at Timaru when we need to be away. My pug, Bobby has been going to Trails for Tails, for quite some time now and he has spent many nights boarding with T for T. I truly cannot recommend and praise Connie and Trails for Tails, highly enough. I have always felt 100% comfortable knowing Bobby is with Connie because then I knew he was in safe hands and he being in his happy place. Trails for Tails is a home from home environment for all the dogs and every dig is treated as one of their own. Very highly recommended!!!
Coco has been spending 3 days a week in puppy day care with Trails for Tails and we have nothing but positivity for Connie and her business. She offers such a personal service incluing walks / home day care and home boarding that we shall miss her so much! Connie is a remarkable and highly qualified person, who really cares about the dogs in her charge. She is also a meticulous administrator when it comes to running her business. Our 5-year old chihuahua, Pixie, has been with Connie for daycare and boarding since she was 6 months old and she couldn't have received better care. To Pixie, and to us, Connie is a member of our extended family. 100% recommended!
We have been using Trails for Tails for 5 years and have been extremely pleased with them. We sent our puppy there as soon as he was old enough to enable him to be socialised and have longer walks than we could give him. The posts that Connie puts on Facebook/Instagram for the owners are a delight. We know that our pets are happy and enjoying themselves. Monty goes in tail up and wagging. He comes home tired but very happy. We cannot recommend Trails for Tails strongly enough. It will be difficult to find someone as trustworthy and we will miss Connie enormously. ◦
Bill went to daycare for 6 years with Connie and now she has our new puppy Bailey. Bailey gets so excited when he sees her coming up the drive. He comes home exhausted because of all the playtime with the other dogs and the lovely walks he has with Connie. I would highly recommend Connie, it’s a true home from home service. Connie has been looking after our Mini Schnauzer Eva for the past 4 years both in day care and home boarding. We cannot rate Connie enough, not only does she collect Eva and take her on beautiful walks with videos posted on Facebook so we can see her but drops her back exhausted and content. Her home boarding is outstanding and we know Eva is safe and loved and we can enjoy peace of mind on holiday knowing Eva is having a great holiday too! You are so lucky to be having Connie coming home to Ireland we are devastated to be losing her and her amazing dog care. Eva will miss her cuddles and care and we only have to see how excited she is when she sees Connie to know how well cared for she is. Good luck Connie !

We sent our 6 month old pup out to Niall recently. He had such a good experience when I went to collect him he didn’t want to come home with me! Was nervous leaving him for the first night but was reassured he would be totally safe. Niall is such a lovely man with a great set up for the dogs. You can tell he really cares for animals. The experience we have had with Audrey from start to finish was second to none! Contact response was super quick, Audrey is very efficient. The quick drop off was so easy and Audrey’s love for dogs is clear as day. Audrey kept me posted throughout the weekend with their adventures and my mind was at ease from the minute I text her to look after her. Nala settled in with Audrey straight away and came home content, with her bed washed and everything! Thanks so much Audrey we will be seeing you again soon.
I was able to get in contact with Audrey about taking my husky blue for a couple of nights. As a typical husky he is very hyper and full of energy but not when he came home! He had gone on so many walks and runs with Audrey that he was exhausted when he got home! It was great blue loved it, so much so he nearly didn’t want to leave! Audrey was also great over the couple of nights with communication as when I text so see how he was getting on she snapped back a couple of pictures which really put me at ease. 5 out of 5 service from blue and myself will definitely be back! 👏
Audrey took the absolute best care of our 2 dogs while we were away , she kept regular contact and sent pictures everyday which we wanted. They were walked morning and evening, when they weren't out and about they were cosied up at her fire on lovely beds. It meant so much to us to know the dogs were with a genuine dog lover and they will absolutely be going back to her again.
We were away for three days, and Audrey, who minded our dog Obi, was amazing. It is very clear that she has a great love for all animals, which really put our minds at ease. We could really enjoy our holiday knowing Obi was in a home where he was being well looked after. I got lots of lovely updates each day about how he was doing, which we loved seeing. Thank you, Audrey, for being so kind and caring with our dog. We will be recommending your dog-sitting service to our family and friends.

Left Lizzie with Audrey on short notice she was welcomed as one of the family straight into this homely environment the setting and facilities are ideal and she even brought Lizzie into Limerick city centre Monday morning there are people just born to look after your pets Audrey is one of these special few and would not hesitate in leaving Lizzie with her again this really was a 5/5 experience from start to finish.
Our dogs enjoy their time with Margaret, Helen and all the staff, as they are kind and caring. The dogs invariably wag their tails, as we arrive and travel up the driveway. We are sent videos, plus daily texts updating us of status. Having somewhere safe, welcoming and a 'home from home' is so reassuring as leaving them is a hardship.

Helen, Margaret and staff are always so helpful, friendly and caring. I know my dog is well looked after because when we take him out if the car he runs straight to Helen for his hug and great welcome. It is also comforting to get regular updates by text when we are away and it's great to know he is doing well. All in all I wouldn't leave my fur baby with anyone else and highly recommend Perfect Paws !!

Was a customer, unfortunately our dog always came back smelly. Also, he was often ill after being there and we haven't had this problem with other daycares/kennels. Consistent price increases and terrible communication. Unless you use Instagram, you won't know about closures. Owner is terrible at dealing with customer questions and takes everything personally. So it's agree with her or get out. After two years I've learned it's better to spend money and time in better facilities, Abbey Boarding/Daycare, PawPals, Ballyclough, Bed and Biscuits and also some independent dog walkers/minders. Any of these businesses will treat you and your pup better. Urban tails gives a misleading first impression and does not value longevity
Absolutely top quality service from the very start. I cannot recommend Urban Tails enough to send your dog to. As soon as Peach had her jabs we sent her for the first time and she was so small we weren’t sure how she would get on but the care, love and attention she has received from all the staff from the very start has resulted in her absolutely running in the door every single day when we bring her now. This for me tells you everything you need to know about how happy she is to go there and be around all her pals. Not only that but Anne Marie, Carol, Abbie and all the staff are so helpful with any questions we had around Peach. They are so accommodating when things pop up last minute and Peach needs to be dropped at a moments notice. To summarise, we would be lost without Urban Tails and no words can ever say how grateful we are to have such a fantastic service available to us where we know the most important thing in our life is loved just as much as she is at home! ❤️
I cannot recommend Sally at the Dog Pawlor enough. My little girl is anxious in new surroundings, so when I dropped her off at Urban Tails daycare for her autumn groom unsure if she would settle away from me but Sally reassured me that Boo would be absolutely fine and that she was! Sally took time chatting to me to see how I’d like her legs body and face groomed and did exactly what I asked and if not more! Boo was returned to me as pretty as a picture, so relaxed and content. There wasn’t a whimper out of her and no stories to tell Mom on the journey home.
We'd be absolutely lost without urban tails! Loki starts getting excited anytime we're on childers road even if it's the weekend. He's been going there for over 2 years now and loves it. But even better we have peace of mind knowing he's happy out to be there while we work. I spend my days watching the Instagram stories and feel like I know all the doggys! The girls are amazing and as a people dog, Loki approves of them all. He's even willing to go back in the day after a groom with no hard feelings 🤣
We truly cannot say enough amazing things about Urban Tails in Limerick! Our dog Fionn absolutely loves going there, and with us working full time, it has become a second home for him in our working days. The moment we pull up, his tail starts wagging uncontrollably, and he races to the door to greet his friends and the wonderful team of ladies that Annmarie has hired. The staff is incredibly attentive and genuinely cares about each dog. They always keep us updated with any unusual behavior they might notice with Fionn, along with delightful updates about his daily adventures. It's clear that they take the time to understand each dog's personality, and that makes all the difference. We honestly don’t know what we would do without Urban Tails. My dog Mabel and more recently my puppy Esme go to doggy day care and overnight boarding.The whole team welcome and look after them with great care and a special thank you to Emer who also grooms them . The communication is excellent ,prompt replies and very helpful with any general questions I have.I cannot express enough how happy my dogs are going into Abbey boarding kennels . Thank you Clair

I knew collecting my 3 dogs that they absolutely loved it here. It's always a worry when you have to leave your fur babies but in the future I will not have any hesitations about leaving them here A1 service. Thank you so much
Used kennels a few times.. Dog back safe n sound but not himself.. Owner has v well constructed site and accommodation but dismissive of any concerns.. Doesn't keep in contact like many kennels do.. Our dog def didn't like him n he doesn't seem like a dog lover. Pal of mine felt same.. His sister however occasionally covers and she is lovely
Absolutly delighted with this place. My dog Chico was there twice and he loves going there. The staff are very friendly and professional. Highly recommended this kennels.
I was uneasy about leaving our dog at a boarding kennel as I've never used one before. We couldn't have found a better service in my opinion. Nice clean facility run by concientious folks. They're very quick to communicate and follow up with us. Our dog comes home happy and well cared for every time and we use them often. When i have seen staff with my dog or other dogs they're great with handling them. Prices are affordable. Really can't recommend them enough!
Booked in my 14 month old cat in March for 4 nights in July. Texted the number after booking as I realised I'd made an error in my application form. I received a thumbs up emoji in response. This struck me as quite unprofessional, but I chose to overlook it. I double checked with my vet, that he was fully up to date with all vaccines, he was. The day I dropped him in I forgot to bring his vaccination book, but only realised I made this error that evening. Nobody ever contacted me asking me for his records. So I have zero confidence that he was safe there. Let's hope none of the other cats in the kennel had cat flu or feline AIDS. There are 3 of us living at home, all with different schedules, so he grazes as he likes as there is always someome at home when he's hungry. I told the staff member this as she walked away with him. I've collected him a day early, only 4 pouches are missing from the box I provided. My cat eats 2 pouches at a time. The poor guy. No response provided when I text informing them that I would be collecting him early. The guy just seems pig ignorant. Definitely would not be recommending, and would actively discourage people from using this place. Anyways, I have to feed my cat now 👍
Cannot recommend Abbey Boarding Kennels highly enough. My dog, Ted, absolutely loves his stays here. The staff are wonderful and you can tell they really are invested in the care of your fur baby. Ted bounds in the door at each visit. I can leave him and not spend my break worrying about his care or whether he is getting exercised enough. I would recommend them highly.
Amazing facilities, really professionally run for both day care and overnight. Our dog loves going here for day care & only recently stayed overnight for a few nights for the first time. We were very nervous as he usually stays with family but we could not fault them. We never once worried if he’d be ok; he was so well looked after and came home looking great after getting a wash too. They now offer grooming services. Just brilliant! 🐶
I've been sending my dog Bailey (Soft Coated Wheaten) to Dan's for the last 12 years and I have nothing but good things to say about Dan and his kennels. He is such a lovely man and always shows such care and respect for the dogs in his care. Our new addition, Alfie (Zuchon) and Bailey both love spending time in Dan's and are so happy when they leave - tired, well fed and happy! Since moving to the other side of Limerick, I still choose to bring my pets to Dan's as I trust him implicitly. If you're a dog lover then you're in good company with Dan!
Great experience. We left our shihtzu in with Dan for a week and we couldn't be happier. The dog seemed unhappy to be leaving. She has a pep in her step since staying with Dan.
Worst experience ever. Brought our dog to this kennel for one night so we could go to Dublin. We told Dan she was in heat and he promised to keep her penned away from males. To our shock and horror, we discovered our dog got pregnant while on his property. Our dog was only around other dogs while in heat in his care. So disappointed, angry and the cost accrued because of this was in the hundreds of euros.
Dan, a very kind man, loves his dogs and they love him.
Great service! We have left our male golden retriever in with Dan for daytime dog minding, and he is always so happy and tired afterwards. Dan is great with the dogs, puts them at ease straight away, let's them play together and then takes them for walks out in the field behind the house. Cannot recommend this service enough!
Highly recommend, your beloved dog or cat will be treated like part of the family here. It's such an excellent service, offering doggie day care and overnight kennels for your dog or cat. My dogs love going to their doggie day care. They have their regular gallops, and Dan keeps a really lovely dynamic between the different breeds, excellent socializing for your dog, big or small. It's set in a countryside, green fields all around and open space for your dog. Dan also has a roofed outdoor play area when the weather takes a turn. It really is like a home away from home for my dogs. Dan and the gang take the upmost care of the dogs in their care.
We couldn't have been more pleased with the service provided. We would highly recommend Dan and his kennels. He's a true gentleman and we knew our pug was in safe hands with him.

Excellent Kennels our dogs love this place and the owners are very good and care about the animals and send you video updates of your dogs so you don't have to worry how they are getting on the also are very good at keeping an eye if there are any health concerns about your dog.

Only place I trust to take care of my small Morkie Joey overnight. Joey absolutely loves going to Lough Gur Doggy Day Care, and is besties with Anas two dogs, Twinkle & Hope. Ana takes care of her like she's her own. Also uploads pics and sends updates which I love 🥰 Whenever I collect Joey she is always so happy and I know just was just so well looked after. 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
