Doug & Kathryn sat for five days for my 14 year old Shihtzu, Kallie. I felt very confident in leaving my boy with them both. They took him out for plenty of walks even though he had to be encouraged on occasions (he is 14 after all), and followed all instructions I left regarding feeding, sleeping etc. They are both very easy and friendly and a pleasure to deal with. My house was immaculate when I returned and they had even stripped the bed and it was all washed and drying on the line when I arrived home. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone who needed reliable sitters for their pets.

Abbey is AMAZING! The dogs absolutely loved her and we came home to the super clean, tidy home and two very very happy hounds. She was both professional and friendly from the very first email and even made time to come and visit us and meet the dogs before we left for our holiday. This was hugely appreciated and meant we were able to show her around and know that everything was in very safe hands. I really would not hesitate to recommend Abbey to house / pet sit and I'm already looking forward to being able to invite her to come again...I know the dogs would be very happy to see her too! Neil & Gayle were brilliant house sitters! From start to finish, everything went perfectly. Pre-sit correspondence was clear and simple. During the stay, Neil & Gayle looked after our two dogs for 10 days wonderfully. They kept in touch throughout the sit, sending us photos and updates. I am sure my dogs would have preferred them to stay forever but alas, we had to return eventually! The house was immaculate upon our return. All in all, a 10/10 house sit with these easy-to-trust, very interesting and amiable house sitters!

Phil, Rosie and their three children came to look after our zoo during the long August bank holiday weekend. We had great communication before the sit, including a zoom call where we were able to get to know each other a little. Phil and Rosie were organised, and understood how to look after the animals very well. The house was left clean and tidy, with a very cute thank you card from the children and fresh flowers in many of the rooms! Highly recommended sitter family :)

Paula was my dream pet/house sitter! I couldn’t have been any happier or any calmer while away on our vacation. We picked Paula up from the airport a couple nights early so that we could get to know her and share everything about the dogs and house. We had a lovely time getting to know her and becoming fast friends. While we were preparing to go away she jumped right in and was helpful with everything. While away she sent photos and messages to share how the time was going with the dogs. She was very self sufficient and communicative, she even corralled 3 deer off our property that had gotten through the fence! We arrived home to everything perfectly clean and tidy and very happy pups! My pups will miss her dearly! As will we 💜 we enjoyed a little extra time with Paula once arriving home which was just as lovely! Even though we were home she was helpful on all levels and when we were busy getting things unpacked and back to normal she helped with the dogs and our clean up. She was such a joy to have, incredibly respectful of our home and our needs in the family, she is a wonderful human being that we would like to have return to watch our pups but also just to visit! So lovely to have Craig and Shelley, Daisy and Teddy looking after everything while I was away. They took over effortlessly from some friends who were staying and were brilliant with all the comings and goings that went on. The "elephants" were very well looked after. Anyone who has them to look after their pets would be very lucky!

Euan and Lara were just great! Going through the arrangements at the outset suggested a good experience was a likely outcome. We got that in spades. He engaged immediately with Percy and Molly and made a favourable impression with us and the dogs. Thoughtful, responsible and just all round nice, we felt entirely confident in leaving the dogs and our home in his care. The circumstances were not entirely propitious - Scots may be used to heavy snow but in our part of rural Hampshire it falls infrequently. It seems the dogs had the time of their lives - I have photos to prove it. I thoroughly recommend Euan and Lara.

Thank you to the lovely Adi and Ruti  and Rutis daughter Ollie, for their care of our Pets during the holiday sit.  
The animals are all calm and eating well on our return 

A side note: I did find it a bit disappointing to have to wash bed linen / rewash bed linen that has been washed (blood stained from a cut - red bedroom), and to have to clean bedrooms  ( muddy footprints in shower- red bedroom) and rearrange furniture ( dining room)/ and kitchen cupboards on my return, as i expected the house to be as we left it. 
So a lesson for  me to lay out my expectations in our house guide for next time. It is a large house to maintain if you are not used to it.    

However,  the most important thing were the animals and they were fine. Any issues that occurred were handled with kindness and diplomacy and their communication was extremely good with us and our local neighbors , which is really what we all want!

This our second time asking Mercedes to watch our home and take care of our 4 cats.  I cannot find anything bad to say about Mercedes, because there isn't anything.  Having her stay at our home makes our vacations 10 times better.  She's very self-reliant with only minor questions about location of more cleaning supplies. She keeps in communication with us on how our babies are reacting to her, and how they've been eating.  They've really taken a liking to her, even my most skittish cat Lori jumped up on the bed to visit with Mercedes in the morning.  Mercedes sent me a photo, and I was amazed and so happy to see Lori so comfortable with her.  She has learned each cat's unique personality and needs, and about the watering needs of my garden.  You would never know she was even here. It's just as clean, perhaps cleaner than when we left.  I highly recommend her and will hire her again.
