My husband and I had a really pleasurable stay at Hannah and Damien’s comfortable home in Santa Cruz. The bed was really nice and the house gets lots of lovely light. Taking care of their home was super easy because the instructions were well written and thorough. Communicating with Hannah was also a breeze. I highly recommend this housesit! Bean and Blue are good-natured, independent and relaxed young cats. During the day, when I wasn’t playing with them using their beloved feather toys, they were free to roam outside or nap inside. Wilder and Cody, two well behaved, sweet, cuddly dogs, were a joy to walk; I especially enjoyed walking them to the beach and to the Seabright Avenue Verve Coffee nearby. Whole Foods and Shopper’s Corner grocery store are close by. The beach is also a short walk away. We hope to one day return and housesit / petsit for Hannah and Damien again.

What a fantastic sit. Kathleen is so nice and detailed. Everything I needed was right at my fingertips. She was very easy to get ahold of if there were questions. She also put sticky notes on anything that was important, ( dog food, chicken scratch, kitty food, etc.) so taking care of the animals was super easy. Great idea! The pups are Zayda and Mango! I love those dogs. They are Goldendoodles. Zayda is super sweet and always by your side, plus she has the longest eyelashes I have ever seen. Very beautiful pup. Mango is the younger doodle. Full of energy. He loves to have a ball thrown down the hill then he runs like crazy to find the ball. It's quite entertaining. He will go for hours if you let him. I always made him take a break after a bit and get some water. He's a very fun pup!! The house is just far enough out of the city that you feel nothing but peace and quiet, yet it's 10 minutes from everything you may need in town. If I ever get a chance to help again I will do it if I can. I highly recommend this sit.
I really enjoyed taking care of Rooh and Mimi. They each had their own unique personality and were really sweet. Mimi liked grooming my head and Rooh would sit on my lap, so I could pet him. Ananya and Somay were very nice and easy to communicate with. The home is close to the freeway, stores and restaurants, so anything I needed was nearby. The community they live in is lovely and the neighbors I met were all very kind. I would definitely take care of Rooh and Mimi again.
We had the best time minding Sarah’s beautiful animals - just such gorgeous characters who I wanted to pack and take home with me. Fozzie, Sybil and Alfie and the gorgeous cats. Gosh those dogs cracked me up when walking them. What a fabulous home, a lovely comfortable and fabulous place to live in, and easily one of the most special places in the world. Just loved walking with the dogs every day. Everyone was smiling and happy. Thank you so much for the golden opportunity. Sarah made a lovely meal to greet us and we were held up at Shannon Airport. Sarah’s Mum Jenny was just a true lady and so lovely to invite me to the local 45 card game. This is one game I need to practice. Highly recommended housesit.
