Wow, I was so grateful to be accepted by Jenny & Saul to catsit and take care of their lovely home! You couldn't ask for a more hospitable, warm, friendly, easy-going and generous couple, they collected me from the airport and dropped me off for my return flight, cooked me two delicious meals, plus Jenny took me on a wonderful outing, plus a hike to the Manafossen Waterfall, which is difficult to get to with public transport. Jenny also kindly gave me her transport card to use for the duration of my stay. Sherlock and Dr Watson, their two beloved cats, are delightful and I so enjoyed their company. Stavanger is a beautiful city and the surrounding nature is even more breathtaking, which I thoroughly enjoyed, even managing to hike to Preikestolen, which was magical. Jenny & Saul's home is conveniently situated two minutes from public transport and also a very reasonable grocery store. I would highly recommend this house/catsit to any prospective housesitters. Thank you again Jenny and Saul for a wonderful experience.
A somewhat delayed review - not to detract at all from the brilliant sit. I met with Sarah beforehand to say hello to Kiki and Milo, who were both super lovely and very easy-going cats. Milo liked to hog the attention quite often when I was downstairs on the sofa so I made sure to find Kiki upstairs on the bed and make sure she didn't feel left out. The sit is very central and Spike Island is a short hop away over Gaol Ferry Bridge. 100% recommend and will definitely keep an eye out for future sits as I would love to sit again
What a lovely 'sit' one of my favourites. Jo and Kay making sure I knew what I was doing via welcome pack and also written "to do's" Their house very comfy and warm and easy to manage. Then most important, Bella standard poodle and Peggie spaniel, fabulous cuddlers and oh so loveable, good as gold. The area has sainsburys and aldi a short drive away with the town and sea front also close by. Castles galore and a private beach for our use via a permit which is in the car which is also available or by toll. Jo and Kay kindness itself and so generous. Thank you both for trusting me with your precious ones. Much respect and see you both next Christmas if not before.
I could not have wished for a better first sit if I tried hard! Kathleen’s and David’s pets are among the sweetest I’ve ever had the pleasure to care for and we had a great time just chilling out together and playing in the yard on the good weather days. Communication, preparation, and accommodations were top-notch and I felt at ease and at home. Thank you for making me feel welcome and trusted, and for a great sitting experience!
We had a wonderful time housesitting and caring for Milly. Milly was the sweetest dog that we have ever had the pleasure of looking after. She was very well behaved, cuddly and no trouble at all. Milly's parents Fiona and Paul were very accommodating to us and provided our own bedroom with ensuite during our stay. It was lovely to meet this family from Cirencester. We recommend the area for housesitting with beautiful scenery and plenty of nearby villages to explore and enjoy. We wish we could've stayed longer and would go go back in an instant. Highly recommend this housesit.
Lou and Whiskey are so sweet! Their house is beautiful, well cared for and renovated very nicely. I don’t think there was anything missing. It was clean, comfortable and just a really good experience overall. The airport is close by and there are plenty of dining/grocery options nearby.

Before leaving your pet here please read this: First I’d like to say the staff was very friendly and my dog (Matlock) was happy and healthy when we picked him up, which is why I’m leaving them 2 stars. Our dog can be aggressive towards other dogs. So when considering a place to leave him while going on vacation we shopped around. Wiggles said they handle dog aggressive dogs and assured us he would be by himself or only playing with people. We did a test run. Reminded them to keep him away from other dogs and it went great. Our 10 day vacation comes up. We drop him off, again, remind them not to let him around other dogs (we also gave them a paper with bold letters saying MATLOCK IS DOG AGGRESSIVE and a muzzle in case it wasn’t possible). During our vacation out of the US we are sent pictures of him playing with another dog where you can tell he is attempting to become dominant and started showing signs of aggressive play. (I will attach the email that came from a manger). So we call tell them not to do that (again) as he attacked other dogs and can be unpredictable. We show up to pick him up, talk to a different manager who is very nice but we are charged our full amount $900 for a service we did not receive. They also put another dog at risk by allowing him to play with ours. I do not wish to include names because I don’t want anyone to get in trouble as they are very nice there and they did apologize however, I just feel the potential customers should be aware of this before allowing your dog to stay here. Had I known they would have disregarded our specific instruction we would have had him stay elsewhere. We are just glad no one got hurt.
Thank you for all you do in caring for Pepper! He is always so happy to stay at wiggles and in great spirits when picked up. The staff is friendly and affectionate with the dogs and I'm always greeted with a smile. I never feel like I need to worry leaving pepper in wiggles' care! I highly recommend them!
Wiggle was fabulous. From the cleanliness of the facility to the efficient operation! The extremely knowledgeable and professional staff was very much appreciated. My 5 month young rescue puppy Lunarossa had a great time at her meet and greet running around with her new friend, a Whippet named Bowie!!! We’re going to enroll her in classes and possibly overnight stays. We’ll definitely recommend you to all our pet parent friends and acquaintances!!! Absolutely amazing. While I was hesitant to drop off my 3.5 month old fur baby for 2 weeks for training, the photos, phone calls and videos eased my mind and I felt connected to him the entire time. Not only did he come home with better manners, he was socialized with other dogs and people. It warmed my heart to see how much fun he was having at Wiggles. I am so impressed with the results, the trainers, the staff and the facility that I have decided to put him in the day care program 3 days a week and board him there when we go on vacation. Without hesitation I would highly recommend Wiggles. A truly amazing experience.
Wiggles is the best! The staff is friendly and very professional. One of the things I appreciate about Wiggles is their willingness to resolve or work through any difficulty you may encounter during a visit. Our family got a personal call from the owner, who did everything reasonable to ensure that we were satisfied. They actually care for your pets as if it's their own and they treat the pet parents like family too. After a visit to Wiggles my dog always has an extra pep in his step. We send our almost 15 month old puppy to Dogtopia and we all love it! Our puppy has a great time and everyone knows him well and is beyond kind. Taylor summed up Dogtopia perfectly when she said, “When you bring your dog here, they are part of our family. He’s our little boy too!” We don’t have to worry about or our little pup at all when he’s there, we know he’s having a great time!
Love Dogtopia Mt.Kisco! We bring three of our four dogs there for both daycare and boarding. Taylor and her staff love the dogs they are for so much! I highly recommend them to anyone.

Dogtopia of Mt. Kisco is fantastic! They know me and my pup the minute we walk in the door. Whether we have an appointment or not. They are warm and caring to my furry friend and are very accommodating. Highly recommend!

We absolutely love Dogtopia! It is so evident how caring everyone who works there is with the dogs. Charli, our pup, loves going to play with her friends and comes home exhausted and happy. It's a fun and safe place for her to socialize with all the other pups!
Dogtopia is an amazing place to take your dog. They are so attentive. The facility is very clean and the people are incredibly nice and accommodating. I take my dog to several daycare and boarding facilities in the area and Dogtopia is by far the best one. I drive far out of my way to take my dog to Dogtopia because he loves it there and I feel like I get the best service of any daycare and boarding place in the area.

The staff is amazing they know my dog personally and address him by name when he comes through the door. He loves this place!!! However the daily price almost doubled since covid and I'm not a fan of $52 a day. 🤷♀️ I used to send him multiple times a week now it's a couple times a month. I wish the would reduce the price and get the memberships back.
Georgie loves going to Pleasant Paws. He comes home after a day at the "inn", happy, healthy and exhausted from playing! This is a family run clean daycare and they love and care for my boy! The pictures are Georgie hanging in the backyard where the dogs play !
Great place to leave your dog for a day or board for longer stays. My boy Blue absolutely loves this place, sometimes I think more than home with us. He gets a great workout with his buddies and is exhausted when I pick him up. Billy knows dogs and I trust him immensely with our pup.
Our dog Hudson loves going to Pleasant Paws Inn. Julie and Joe are terrific! They take good care of our pup. We feel very comfortable bringing Hudson there for daycare and boarding overnight. Great family-run place!

I would give them 20 stars, if I could. I only wish I had found Pleasant Paws Inn sooner! My dog is a bit on the anxious side and I have never been comfortable with the idea of boarding him in a typical kennel environment. It is clear that everyone at Pleasant Paws has a genuine love for the animals in their care and importantly, they are fantastic about communicating with me while my pup is there. The best thing I can say is that every time I have brought Finnegan there, he is happy to go and every time I pick him up, he is happy to come home. Perfect <3 !
Pleasant Paws has been our dog Fiona’s home away from home for a little over a year now. Both the indoor and outdoor spaces are clean and well- maintained and the outdoor play area is spacious and allows the dogs to run, play and exercise together. Most importantly, Julie and her staff are kind, caring and attentive - they are tuned in to each dog’s personality and make a real effort to accommodate their needs and behaviors. Fiona loves being there, and I love being able to look on FB on the days that she is there and see pictures of her throughout the day! We are always confident that she is well taken care of when we leave her at Pleasant Paws, and that has given us enormous peace of mind.

Our dog Clover has gone to Julie and Pleasant Paws Inn for nearly 3 years now. Clover loves it there, whether for daycare or boarding. She can't wait to get out of the car and be with them for the day or the weekend. In particular, it has been such a relief for us to know they're available whenever there has been a family emergency. They're so responsive and ready to take Clover on short notice. We never have to worry.
Julie and the staff at Pleasant Paws are the best in the business. Our boxer puppy Cooper spends two days a week at daycare there. When I pick him up after work he is exhausted and happy from playing all day long! Just this past weekend Cooper spent Friday through Monday at PPI while we were away on a weekend trip. Cooper did GREAT! We got to see pictures of him playing with his friends on Facebook while we were away. When I picked him up on Monday I couldn't even get him out of the car he was snoring so loud! It was so nice to know that even though we missed Cooper while we were away he was well taken care of and didn't seem to miss us too much! Thank you Julie and everyone at Pleasant Paws for taking such good care of him!!! You have a friend and client for life!!!

Diana and her company are simply the best. From her first introductory visit Stella and Fergus (pandemic puppies unused to visitors) were comfortable in her company. Perhaps even more important, this nervous dog mom was confident they were in good hands. As our needs changed over the years Diana has always personalized perfectly to the given situation, going above and beyond the expected. Easy communication and simple booking add to the positive experience. And of course, lots of visit updates with the greatest photos of some very happy dogs! I am so glad to have found Diana and her team - I always know my dogs have the best of care in their own home!
Diana has been in our family's life since September, and we are so thankful for her. We originally wanted some extra exercise for Ziggy--I work from home, but can't often take lengthy breaks during the day. Diana has been all of that and so much more! Perfect example is this Thanksgiving holiday. I came down with a cold out of nowhere and Ziggy (our 19 month beagle) developed what I thought was a hotspot. Long story short, Diana coordinated with me and came by to take Ziggy to Mahopac Animal Hospital. His usual Dr. Moore was not in, but he saw another doctor who was very helpful. In addition to regular text updates, Diana also called me so that the doctor could talk to me about Ziggy's care. Diana also recommended food elimination instead of allergy medicine, so we listened to her. This was a very short notice request--less than 24 hours, but Diana showed up and took care of our Ziggy like he is her own. We are forever grateful to having her in our lives. If you need a regular dog walker or more in-depth training, she is definitely the one to call first. We have learned so many things from her and things she has taught Ziggy just through routine walking!
Diana Paws is an amazing service. She and her employees take the best care of our Fur Babies. I can tell you personally I know her for a Good amount of time, and now with the care of my cats I would highly recommend!
Diana and Sam are amazing. We adopted to two dogs last October. I needed extended walking services for almost two weeks. I reached out and received a quick response from the owner Diana. She was flexible with our consultation and time frames. She made sure to invite Sam who would also be walking out dogs as well, so we saw names with faces. You can tell that Diana not just cares about the animals that she services but as well as the families of the pets. She was more than a wealth of knowledge when it came to certain issues or concerns that she might have seen in regards to our pet care, but she didn't make me feel we were doing a bad job at taking care of our pets. She wanted to improve our relationship with them and their health to keep them around for a long time. She wasn't afraid to get her hands dirty, as well which I loved. We have a very big drooly dog was drooling all over her and there was nothing but smiles on her face. I knew they were genuine smiles. Sam is amazing as well. I actually saw him in our neighborhood with two other dogs and got the longest I thought he was the owner, that's how natural he handled them. He is good with reading situations about dogs being reactive and taking the best courses of action.
Our black lab Chester absolutely LOVES the Diana’s Paws team! They have been great coming and taking care of him whenever my wife and I needed their help: especially when he was a little puppy. They’re experienced in taking care of pets and very clearly love each of the pets entrusted to their care. Happy to say Chester has a consistent stable of friends to come and visit him during the day when his parents aren’t around! 😊🐶
Diana takes excellent care of my dog Bailey goes above and beyond with her care ( ear cleaning and teeth brushing) Bailey loves her outings to the airport park and wading in the lake. She is always so very excited to see her and Diana is often greeted with the zoomies I would highly recommend her to care for your pets of any kind she is a true animal whisperer!

This was my first time leaving my dog at Gracelane. The experience was flawless. The office staff was very polite and professional. The establishment is clean. They offer a video component to view your pet while you are away. I didn't feel a need to get it, because the moment I walked into this establishment I knew my pet was in good hands.
The only kennel I would entrust my beloved dog with!! He can be fearful, yet he never returns from a stay at Gracelane stressed out! The staff are all courteous and helpful.
I tried their dog grooming services. By the time she left she made friends with the staff and owner Chris, and her coat looked beautiful! The grounds are lovely and they have a little dog park which my dog didn’t want to leave. I would definitely recommend them and if my dog could talk so would she!

After my first time boarding, all I can say is WOW. After countless attempts to take a peaceful vacation without any worries for my fur baby, Gracelane (my now holy grail) came to the rescue.My family and I have spent so much money on trainers, at home rehabilitation camps and other facilities to provide care and security of our aggressive Akita & Shepard mix. On top of the fact that many facilities will and have turned her away, ( therefore vacations cancelled ) Gracelane welcomed her with open arms. To there clean and well kept facilities, to the loving, well mannered and well informed front desk ladies.I couldn’t have ask for more. But then, my baby came home CLEAN, happy and a completely different dog. Her barking and aggressive tendencies diminished and she now is super playful. I just want to thank all the beautiful ladies who took care of my girl and Chris and Jeff for their hospitality and kindness during the busy 4th of July week who made an accommodation for my Ellie (despite her aggressive tendencies). You guys are the best and Ellie misses Marina ( the groomer) very very much. Thanks to her I can now brush my dog after years of not letting anyone else bathe or brush her. She looks so cute and smells amazing to this day (also added the cutest little pink bandanna!) I have and still will recommend Gracelane everywhere I go. Thank you for such a peaceful experience and Ellie will definitely be returning 😊
I looked at a lot of places for my boys before finding Grace Lane. I was appalled at what was out there. Stinky, small places where big dogs like mine are kept in a crate all day. The staff here are lovely, kind to my pups and the spaces are super clean and organized (check out the kitchen!). They are constantly cleaning, hosing down and keeping the areas safe. The boys are together and have both an inside and outside area. They take a nice walk twice a day and they happily hop in the car when I say "Let's go to Grace Lane!"
The place is immaculate and does not have any of the kennel smell. It is easy to see that everyone that works there loves pets . My 7 month old pup was all excited about being there when I dropped him off. I thoroughly trust the care that he received during his stay . Thank you Gracelane
We have been consistently happy using Gracelane Kennels. They are extremely reliable, which means a lot when someone is caring for your pets. Our dogs have been and are always cared for as per our instructions, without injury, and with good common sense by the employees. It’s worry-free pet care, and we are so grateful for Gracelane.
We bought our dog here for the first time in September, 2024. The facility looks new and is veryclean. Gracelane was very communicative by text and helpful when their were issues with my credit card. Upon pickup, my dog went running straight to the girls at the front deskfor treats - he was very comfortable there. Their prices are also competitive and we will definitely use Gracelane again.
Our dog, Bode, has been going to Camp Bow Wow for over 5 years for both daycare and boarding. The staff is caring and professional and my dog loves going. With all the pets they have come in and out they know the owners and names of each dog and always make them feel special. I have such a piece of mind leaving him there overnight knowing he feels safe and comfortable.
My big boy (127 lbs!) Quincy has been a camper for more than 3 years, having started as a 6 month old puppy. Quincy LOVES Camp bow wow! He’s stayed overnight when I’ve traveled. Wonderful, caring staff, great hours for busy pet parents and lots of fun for pups!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I've been using Camp Bow Wow in Stamford, CT for my three dogs, and it has been an absolute blessing. My oldest, a Schnauzer, absolutely adores his time there. The staff is incredibly kind, attentive, and they genuinely care about the well-being of our furry family members. The facility is top-notch and always clean. I truly can't say enough good things about our experience here. Highly recommend to any dog owner!

Terrific place! Well-run, convenient drop-off & pick-up hours, clean, & fairly priced. They offer everything from day care (drop in, no appt needed), boarding, birthday parties, to grooming & more. My frenchie Gizmo absolutely LOVES it! He’s been going there for nearly a year, since he was a puppy. All I have to do is say, “Bow Wow today!” & he gets wicked excited, runs to the door, jumps in the car & yanks me out when we arrive. 😆 He gets lots of exercise, socialization & playtime with friends, & TLC from excellent, caring counselors — from Michelle, Justin, Ryan, Jonathan, to the whole team. I can’t say enough good things about camp bow wow Stamford. The staff are outstanding, and genuinely enjoy taking care of animals. My puppy always comes home exhausted from running around all day, and when we check the cameras, the staff is always giving all the dogs attention. I highly recommend using them!
We have been bringing our Siberian Husky, Wasabi to Camp Bow Wow Stamford for about 8 years. He day boards a few times a week and when we go on vacation. This is the only place I’d leave my pet. I tried a few other places but Camp Bow Wow Stamford was the best by far. The staff are wonderful, attentive and caring. They love him as much as we do and it shows in how happy he is when he arrives. Many of the staff have been there since Wasabi started which is a true testament to a great place for people and pets Big thank you to Michelle, Justin and all the amazing team at Camp Bow Wow!
My dog was attacked there The owner never called us , 6 staples in his leg , potential nerve damage … The owner is not around on the weekend “Owner not available “ I thought this place was great …. Till there was a problem It took 5 days for the owner to contact my wife Via email… Cathleen…no last name As soon as there was a problem , they went into information black out… All their evaluation is a ruse to make more money… They claim the dogs are watched all the time? Was the attendant afraid to confront the aggressive dog? What are the protocols? They didn’t want to discuss ! My 12 year old dog spent a day alone in the hospital , they claimed they were short staffed.. The best part is the still charged us … The owner of this service had a horrible incident at their business, and they avoided getting involved… The point I’m trying to make is They don’t really care about your dog.. This is a business that’s only concern is managing liability…. You Are Warned
Highly recommend!! Very caring staff, fair price. Nice to have cameras check on dog during the day. Our Bella gets excited as soon as we start driving up to the place!
We were visiting relatives in the area after driving from out of state. The staff was super responsive, very friendly and punctual and our dog loved it. We boarded our dog twice and had a bath. It was great! We wish wags was in our own backyard! Will always use when we are in the area.
If I could give Wags 100 stars, I would. Maura, my little cockapoo, absolutely loves Wags. She’s 4 years old, and this was her first boarding experience. I need not look any further. She’s curious by nature, and it was so fun and reassuring to watch her in the videos (for a whole week) happily following the staff and other dogs around during the day, and how comforting to know she was cuddling with staff through the night. She would have been miserable if I had placed her in a facility where she was by herself in a small area or crate. The staff members clearly love all the dogs, and I am so grateful for their detailed communication with us owners. What a great concept for a model day camp and boarding facility Wags is! Thank you from the bottom of Maura and my hearts! ❤️
Our dog Addi loves wags! They really care for your pet individually and in a small pack setting. I also love that I can check in on her any time! My dog is a senior at 13, and she needs medications. Wags is very good giving them to her. My fur baby is happy and safe at wags.
Wags is the very best - safe - clean - happy place away from home! They are always supervised day & night and u can see them interact on camera.

They are great! Chani loves it there! We feel she is safe and well taken care of. The staff is friendly, and we love the report card and feedback they provide us after pick up.
Gus, a 90lb Lab/pit mix, goes to ‘camp’ 2 days/week. He’s not high energy, but is excited for camp! The staff is wonderful, and Gus enjoys the socialization. The holiday photos from Wags are the best!
Waggs is the best! My dog absolutely loves it here. She was well taken care of when we boarded her over the holiday. I have a picky eater so they took great notes to keep her meals accounted for. We also do the scout program on Wednesday. Sunnie gets so excited on Wednesday mornings. She’s exhausted when she gets home, but a good exhausted! Totally worth it!
