Rose and Bruce were wonderful pet sitters for us while we were away on vacation. They watched our four fur friends (two dogs and two cats and fish). Communication was wonderful and effortless and made this trip a breeze. We were a bit nervous at first to have someone watch our dogs (only family has watched them in the past). We were very excited to hear that Nova and Cain warmed up to Rose and Bruce quickly! We received daily pictures of all the animals in a happy and relaxed state which really put our minds at ease. We came home to a nice and tidy house which was a plus! Most importantly we came home to happy and healthy animals who had a great time with Rose and Bruce. We highly recommend Rose and Bruce for a pet sit. They will make you feel at ease while you’re away. Thank you again so much for the wonderful care you provided to our pets and our home. We hope to have you pet sit again in the future. - Kevin and Sara
It was our first sit and we received all the support from Naomi and Steven. Along with their son, Tibbe, they welcomed us and explained everything they expected from us to keep their pets comfortable. The house is very nice, plenty of space, in a wonderful area, lots of places to walk nearby, great atmosphere. The cats, Loki, Moos and Sam, have each different personalities, but they do not require much: for food and a little petting, we had all the purr we wanted. Who requires full attention and love is Bobba, the most lovely dog we ever met. Bobba is a sweet puppy, very affectionate, sensitive, who requires love, presence, variety of activities, play and again love. But for all these, we were rewarded with his love and we miss him very much. It was the first time he was separated from his family for a longer time and there were days when we could see he longed for them. Although it was not completely an uneventful stay, we put all out souls in caring the pets, we enjoyed our stay with them and we consider it a rewarding experience. Thank you!
This is a great sit. Jane and Michael’s home is comfortable and beautifully decorated. Gemma is an absolute doll and we miss her. Great location a short train ride away downtown Vancouver. Walking distance to train station, restaurants, bars, and markets. Highly recommend.
A delightful village, a delightful house with a friendly, fun Jack Russell terrier. The owners are the kindest people, as are the neighbours. Can’t recommend this lovely place to other sitters highly enough!
Allison was so kind during all of our interactions and even came to collect me at the main station when I arrived - I absolutely loved staying here with the supersweet cats Raja and Nina. They were an absolute delight and so cuddly. The flat is a perfect base for home office and exploring the amazing city of Vienna. I loved my time, thank you guys so much!! 😻❤️
I loved housesitting for Bear! He is the cuddliest and most affectionate cat I've ever met. He's pretty low maintenance as he spends a lot of time outdoors. He loves to follow you around the house and has no problem communicating his needs. Clare, Ben and their child are also beautiful humans and it was a pleasure to get to know them. They were extremely helpful with books and maps of the area and they even showed me around Oxford and some of their favorite spots the day before they left. Their home is in a lovely location near a park and footpaths, and close enough to walk or easily take a bus to the Oxford city center. I will say that the warning that Bear bites is a fair warning: he definitely does bite (and fairly hard, not just a nip). If you're uncomfortable or scared with the idea of this, then I'd recommend not applying to sit for him. But if you're okay with this or have experience with cats who bite, then I recommend it with 5 thumbs.
Charlie is an absolute delight! He's remarkably well-mannered, intelligent, and charming. Our walks in the park near Karen's house were simply wonderful. The park itself is beautiful, offering plenty of space for Charlie to roam freely off-leash. Although our time there was brief, it was incredibly enjoyable. Additionally, Karen's house is incredibly comfortable, and we thoroughly cherished every moment spent there with Charlie.
