What an absolute pleasure to look after Iona & her family's beautiful home and adorable pets. Lucy, Tilly and the two boys were such wonderful company, I just wanted to hang out with them all day. It was lovely to get to know their different characters, once I managed to tell the difference between Tilly, Midnight & Muffin! Lucy and I enjoyed exploring the different walks around the house and a couple of trips to the beach, she is the most delightful company and has the sweetest temperament. I particularly loved how all the cats would appear to join us for the evening around 8pm & Tilly would curl up on my lap. The gardens are beautiful and such a treat to have to pick sweet peas every day and to check on the chickens & geese. The cherry on the top was being able to swim every day. Iona had thought of everything in the Welcome Pack and was so helpful with every detail. Really the perfect housesit - thankyou. 🙏🏻
Corinne & Mike are lovely, friendly, genuine people who couldn’t do enough to ensure that my stay was enjoyable. My housesit was over Christmas and they were very agreeable to my mum and daughter joining me for the festive period. Rebel & Riley are friendly, affectionate dogs who will happily snuggle up with you on the sofa. However, they are very strong on their leads so could really do with a couple to walk them rather than one person. Willow is a very sweet and elderly cat who just does her own thing upstairs but appreciates some fussing. Although the home is in a quiet cul-de-sac, Guildford Centre is very near by as are several countryside beauty spots. A five minute walk away brings you to a Co-op, a chemist and both Chinese & Indian takeaways.
This stay was an absolute dream. Not only was the house and location wonderful, but Chelsea was the sweetest dog and very fun to take care of. I had a blast exploring the beautiful city of Portland and deeply enjoyed my time spent in Sarah and Matt’s home as well. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
Sophie and Peter welcomed me warmly to their beautiful home with a delicious supper before they left early next day. I took to Remi instantly, she is a gentle and affectionate little dog, but playful enough to have fun with. We went on some fabulous walks in the woods and to nearby manor houses. A joy to look after, Remi really is the perfect dog - very well trained, responds instantly to commands, walks to heel on a loose lead and off lead, has perfect recall, sits quietly in the back of the car - I could take her anywhere around other people or animals confident that there would be no issues. Anyone chosen to look after Remi will be in for a treat.
Harley, Addy and Betty are treasures. All three of them are sweet as can be! I had a fabulous time exploring the trails around Bend with Harley and Betty (they are both excellent and reliable off-leashers) and zipping around the neighborhood and just generally being the in the presence of the ever adorable Addy. Betty still is a puppy, so she requires a hearty amount of exercise and stimulation to keep her in a happy pup place- it worked great for me because I love hiking and running myself! Trisha was very easy to communicate with and left me with all the tools and information necessary for a successful sit. Her home is gorgeous, immaculate and comfortable. This is a dreamy sit!
Thank you Kelleigh and Cooper for this beautiful weekend! Cooper is a nice boy! You will fall in love with him at first sight. His eyes are something. He is a shy guy at first but he breaks barrier very fast. We miss him. We miss every moment we spent with this little teddy bear. Thank you for giving us so many memorable moments Coop.
