Pros: Brandi was a very nice person. I came home to my kitty and she was all good. She was flexible with her dates. Cons: Brandi stated she left August 11th but the video shows her leaving on the 10th, so she was dishonest. She mention my cat food having bugs in them so she threw out a whole half bag of hard food. My apartment is kept very tidy, theee only reason flies come out is if fruit is left out and she must have left food or something out that attracted the bugs. We originally discussed her only house sitting a month so she could allow client's from peer space in the apartment and sell off or receive furniture. I was lucky enough that she agreed to sit for meadow as well. My gut told me to hold off on peer space because I was getting good cell service at my silent retreat. I'm so so so so glad I did after seeing how she left my apartment floors and bathroom. She would of had to clean up after each peer space and I feel clients would have not been happy with the cleanliness. I don't even have living room furniture yet, just boxes so it should have been a breeze to sweep, vacuum, mop. There's plenty of cleaning rags and cleaners. I have white floors and she must have used dirty mop water all throughout the floor. Dirty streaks and foot prints all over the floor. She left the dirty mop water with the mop in it right in the living room. When mopping a bug place like mine you at least need to change the water four to six times. There was cereal left out and open. Cat food was left open on the counter. Water bowl didn't look clean, full of fur on top. Cereal crumbs on the floor. Coffee bean sprinkles on the cabinets. I usually leave my dishwasher cracked. She must have closed it shut and never opened it ever....because four wooden pieces inside molded over. It was full of clean dishes, pots, pans, utensils, etc. Her hair products on the sink. Empty raw sugar box left in cabinet. Bathroom: sink was sticky, toilet had poop stains (smh I had to clean), and my precious bath tub was filthy. There was black specks in it and I had to wash it four times at least before soaking. I looked forward to coming home and relaxing but I cleaned 3-4 hours. I didn't except her to leave it immaculate however this was more than just touching up for me. There were multiple finger and hand prints on the walls from make up and whatever else was on her hands. This was in my hallway, bedroom, and bathroom. Bedroom: bedroom was ok, some cereal crumbs on the bed and under but nothing major. The bedding was left in the dryer, which was ok but it smelled odd so I re washed it. Two weeks in and she sent a few photos but definitely not daily. Also, two weeks in I became pretty sick and needed to come home to go to the doctor for a few days. I offered to sleep in the living room but her dad lived close by so I guess she said shed make other arrangements so she would have gone there possibly. A day later she requested to end the stay early, which was fine yet very inconvenient. I ended up going to emergency room upstate. She was patient with me and I decided not to travel back home while sick so we agreed on the 11th. She kept mentioning that I could come back earlier if I wanted to. I guess maybe the train sound got to her. I had a feeling she left early, but the video confirmed it. Not sure why she would think that I wouldn't verify. The cameras are visible outside my door.

We had almost decided on another housesitter for a recent family vacation when we got a message from Liz, who travels with her dog Buster. Our dogs love other dogs and we thought the addition of a play pal would really help ease any anxiety they had in our absence, even though there’s always a little concern with adding another dog in the mix we decided it was worth a shot and boy did it work out swimmingly! We have always felt that our dogs have been well taken care of with TH, but this is the first time we’ve been away and had daily professional photographic documentation that they were also having mega FUN in our absence! Liz took all the pups out on 3mi minimum hikes every day and facilitated a ton of play and cuddle time at home. I think our girls both fell in love with sweet Buster, he’s 11 so totally mellow and even keeled- he got along perfectly with both Reaux who loves to rough house and Cece who is a lot more mellow. His stint here may help me convince my husband we need another dog! It was a real treat for us to get to travel without any of the usual anxiety that the dogs weren’t getting enough exercise or play time- we are pretty active and they are used to being tired/happy all the time so it’s usually our biggest concern. Liz took such great care of our home and property through two winter storms with several inches of snow, and successfully finished off a 30 course of antibiotics with both of our dogs. We had a little bit of a hectic exit from the house to leave for our trip and she was so sweet to even fold a load of laundry we had in the dryer and take care of a few other loose ends- really above and beyond! As usual with TH- our home was in gorgeous condition when we returned and we couldn’t be more grateful for the respect and attention paid. Thanks Liz for all the love you showed our dogs and our home! And especially for the incredible pics- they were such a treat. Wholeheartedly and enthusiastically recommend Liz and Buster to anyone looking for a great house sitter and dog buddy combo! We’re so thrilled with how well things went we will actively seek out other TH sitters traveling with their pets in the future. 10/10, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hope to see you guys again some time! Love, Laura & John, Cece & Reaux

Kent and Kathy took excellent care of our dog and two cats and our home while we were away. They kept us updated with messages and pictures of our pets. They got along very well with our dog and took her on several interesting hikes and drives in the area. They bathed our dog and took good care of her. The house was clean when we returned, and they fixed us a nice supper to enjoy after a long day of travel. We highly recommend them and would be happy to have them return.

Millie is the best lady to take care of I could ask for. She is gentle, snuggly and a great, but slow, loose leash walker. Her age is apparent but her spirit is still strong. Would take care of her again anytime.
Sue and Ade were great hosts. Great communication and interactions. The accommodations were just as described. The bed was very comfortable. They were kind enough to put me up during my in-between sit days, which allowed me to explore more of Chester. Thanks again, guys. I recommend this sit.

It was a great experience housesitting for Nicolás and Javiera and taking care of Melchor for three weeks. Melchor is a very chill, relaxed, and sweet cat. I truly enjoyed spending time with him. Nicolás and Javiera are very communicative, kind, welcoming, and well-organized. They left very clear instructions in the Welcome Guide which is easy to follow. Their apartment is clean, tidy, organized, and well-decorated. It also has a great view with a nice balcony. I felt very comfortable staying at their lovely place.

Their apartment is located in West Loop, with easy access to public transportation, groceries stores, and nice restaurants. I explored around the neighborhood, tried some restaurants Nicolás recommended, and really enjoyed it. Hope I could come back to housesit and hang out with Melchor again sometime in the future. Highly recommend.

Being invited to Shrewsbury was a real delight being able to spend time with the most sweet cat ever. She has a cat flap to be independent and returned in the evening to sleep on my bed. Great.
The family is so nice, we matched right from the start very easily. They invited me for dinner the first evening and we had a nice chat. And the house is incredibly beautiful and clean. My room was gorgeous overlooking the big garden.
It takes 2 min walk to get to the village shop or bus stop. Being located just outside Shrewsbury with all town options you may look for and incredible walks along the Severn. Additionally you are close to National Trust sites and the Welsh landscape and towns.
I had a highly recommend this sit as I had a most wonderful time.

We had a lovely time with Beans in Tottenham! Beans is the absolute cutest, he is snuggly, playful and super friendly. Mark and Sonja are really great, quick with communication and we got on really well with them!

Karen
This was a wonderful sit. Karen was a fabulous host who took care of everything and was very accommodating to any requests I had. The house was beautiful, generously stocked and extremely convenient. Tenzing was a very handsome and lovely cat who ruled the roost for sure. The only disappointment was that he was outside for an awful lot of the time so it was difficult to really create a strong bond with him - and he was not a lap cat by any means. He did like a good stroke and brush though! At night he was demanding too, but this was all carefully explained in the write-up. All in all, a lovely place to be and I am very grateful to Karen for sharing her lovely corner of France and her beau cat, Tenzing!
