Emma’s home is in the most beautiful place you can imagine, with views that photos simply don’t do justice! The farmhouse is large and full of charm and character, and I feel spoiled rotten that I got to spend nearly 3 weeks here! It went by far too quickly, and I wish I didn’t have to leave! Teatle and Drum (the dogs) are warm and friendly, and although Teatle is now aged and cannot hear commands anymore, they are both well-trained and very sweet. Rabbie (the cat) mostly snoozed in the kitchen, but was most pleased to have such a devoted servant waiting on her hand and foot, and kept me on my toes trying to sneak up the stairs when I least expected it! (She’s surprisingly speedy for 18!) I will always remember my time here fondly and can recommend it for anyone looking for a quiet retreat! It is quite remote- so if you want nightlife, etc this is not the place for you. Expect quiet country downtime. (I went a whole week without seeing or speaking to another human!)
