Honestly, Megan and Court were fantastic! They went above and beyond our expectations (which were high already having met them before). They are two friendly young professionals who are responsible, courteous, thoughtful, and caring. Their dog Kia was so well behaved. Our doggies, Jade and Oakley, welcomed Kia immediately and all became best buds. The doggies were so well taken care of and loved. We really enjoyed the daily pics that were sent to us while we traveled. We also loved that the doggies got out for exercise everyday. Megan and Court are so kind! We were thrilled and grateful to come home to happy doggies, a clean house, AND a home-cooked meal-how great is that!! We highly recommend Megan and Court to sit at anyone’s home. We hope they return!
It was an amazing experience for my husband and me. The flat is very comfortable and has amazing location. Daniela left instructions about everything, and it was very convenient. This was a wonderful experience. My husband was there with me for the first two weeks, and I was there for the last three weeks by myself. Dennis picked us up at the bus station in Cork (we flew in to Dublin airport), and also dropped me off there at the end of the time. He was a gracious host, having a spaghetti dinner ready for us the first night. He also drove us around showing us important places such as the grocery store, veterinarians office, favorite restaurants, his nephews home( if we needed the support), and popular tourist sites in the area. He also gave us use of his car, adding us onto his insurance. His home is a simple cottage, with a beautiful view. I absolutely love the view from his living room and kitchen. It overlooks the green of his back yard with the traditional green hedge at the property line, beyond this is a golden barley field with a hill that drops off. Then you see the view of the Atlantic and some of the seven heads peninsulas, and other green farm land. A very tranquil setting that fostered the rest I was looking for. He also has a welcoming patio, where you can enjoy this same view outdoors when the weather is nice. The location in Western Cork along the coast line was also ideal for easy access to many beautiful beaches.. Keiko, she is a sweet black lab who absolutely loves people! She enjoys having her ears scratched and her belly rubbed . Her daily walks at the beach (within a 5 minute drive) were enjoyable. The beach is a place where many people walk their dogs. Every day I had the pleasure of meeting new people and continuing to get to know others that I saw almost daily. Most people know Keiko. Keiko gets along well with other dogs, and like I said earlier she loves people. My husband and I would do another house sit for Dennis and Keiko if it works into our schedule. Thank you Dennis for this amazing opportunity!
Teddy was a delight to look after! Josh's house is lovely and I took him up on the suggestion of hosting a bbq - it was so nice to have the opportunity to host a few friends in a gorgeous house and garden. Just note that Teddy does like to find new chew toys so you need to watch what you leave out. He is such a loving pup and will definitely charm you. I would an absolutely sit again :)
I had a wonderful time taking care of Zara. She is a smart, loving (multilingual!) dog and she made me feel at home, as well as Ana Luisa. Her place is great and she made sure I had everything I needed and everything was as communicated. The location is great and good for going on walks with Zara in the most beautiful park in Barcelona. Thanks for everything once again! 🥰
We had the pleasure of looking after Lilly for 9 days. Such a gem she is! Eva and John are such a friendly and welcoming couple. They are very Covid aware which is nice to see in these crazy times, we had our own bedroom and bathroom which had been thoroughly cleaned before we arrived. We arrived the day before they left, Eva kindly offered to cook us dinner which we declined because of Covid and she was totally fine and understood. We all wore face masks whilst we were together. We found a welcome gift basket on our bed which was such a lovely touch - thank you so much. Eva and John walked us around town and pointed out places of interest, things to do in the area and good restaurants. The handover was very detailed which was brilliant. They have 2 folders full of information in the house, 1 about Lilly and the other one about the house and the area around Andover. Lilly was a little darling, so cute and well behaved. We took her on local walks and out in the car - she has her own seat for the car, she enjoyed her daily ear massage and cuddles! We loved our stay in Andover, thanks Eva, John & Lilly and would come and housesit again if we got the chance.
It was a pleasure taking care of precious little Blueberry for Moe and Vianeey in their quiet, cozy, clean, well located apartment in NYC. Blueberry was an absolute delight! Easy to care for, fun to play with and easy to get attached to haha. He was super loving and calm. I enjoyed staying in the beautifu Upper East Side of NYC, where there a tons of amazing restaurants, cafes & shoppes! Moe and V were very welcoming and gave me all the information I needed for a successful Sit. Thanks Again Guys, I would happily take care of Blueberry in the future.
