Claire
Claire is an easy-going host and gave me everything I needed to take care and be comfortable at her home and mini-farm. We enjoyed her stylish home and adored every single one of her beautiful animals. It was a daily delight to sit with Beans the dog in her front courtyard and enjoy the view of the Sandias. My kids absolutely loved the animals and property, and we cozied up and watched Netflix at night. The routine with animal feeding and turn out was very straight-forward. She communicated freely throughout the sit, answering questions as they came up. It was a pleasurable housesit and we are grateful she offered us the opportunity. I highly recommend this housesit.

Henry
This was a fantastic sit. Henry and Anne are both lovely and Rowan was such a delight to look after. We had a great time in Glasgow and would love to return.

Lisa
This was a wonderful sit. First I fell in love with Nellie. She is the sweetest girl! She loves to be close by wherever you happen to be. She loves her walks around the neighborhood and knows exactly where she wants to go.
Lisa and her husband were very welcoming and communication was excellent. Their home is quite beautiful with scenic views throughout. I couldn’t recommend this sit enough!

Stephanie
Stephanie welcomed us with a fabulous Indian meal (one of the best we have had in years) and showed us around the house and the ins and outs of looking after her furry family.

The cottage is a rustic 200 year old French farm house with the usual quirks and wear and tear that go with a property of that age.

We had been in touch with Stephanie about our aversion to the cold (sparked by comments raised by a previous sitter) and she thoughtfully bought us an electric blanket and even a neck warmer! In reality the central heating or the fireplace was more than enough to keep us toasty warm.

The cats were fairly easy to look after, each with their own unique personality. The only issues we had was getting them into their respective sleeping arrangements each night, the expression “herding cats” came to mind 🤣 Other than that and a few nocturnal shenanigans early on in our stay the routine with the furry tribe gave us plenty of time to explore beautiful Brittany.

The internet was adequate for our use. Remote workers or streamers may struggle with the variability in speeds and drop outs depending on your work time zones.

As stated in the listing the house is set in a beautiful yet remote farming area so it’s essential you have a car to get around.

All in all we had an interesting sit and thank Stephanie for her hospitality.

Bry and Flo
Florence and Bryan made my stay incredibly comfortable. Their dogs Raven and Lucy were so sweet and easy. Raven followed me everywhere while Lucy cuddled on my lap. They were easy to manage on walks but also used the fenced in backyard. There is also a nature reserve just down the street that the girls loved.
It was easy to communicate with Florence throughout the sit experience. The pups were also excellent communicators. Lucy let me know when she wanted me to move out of her couch spot and when it was time for me to retire to bed with her. I highly recommend this family for a sit!

Patty
I just can't say how much I enjoyed staying at Frank & Patty's place with Lena and Blu - it was like being at home, and I mean that in the best possible way! Frank and Patty made me feel so comfortable right away, and the house is a very comfortable space to be in. I never wanted to leave, in fact, I'd love to move in with them full-time! And I honestly didn't leave that much while I was there, Lena and Blu were such a joy to be around and I felt so at home. We had lots of snuggle time on the big chair and in the recliner, and they slept with me too. And if I went out, they wanted to go too and were always good in the car, just sitting quietly in the passenger seat. I did venture out enough to enjoy Bill's Donuts and Marion's Pizza, and there is a great walking path adjacent to the neighborhood. Folks in the neighborhood are very friendly! I really enjoyed my stay with Blu and Lena and hope to see them again sooner rather than later. They really took up a spot in my heart! (Both the dogs and the owners!)
