My wife and I spent a few very pleasant days with Shiva, Sarah’s well-behaved and lovey-dovey mixed breed dog, in her amply-sized, comfortably quiet, ground-floor flat in a walkable village situated an easy 20-ish minute tram ride to the center of Basel, in the German-speaking part of Switzerland. All was as advertised. The neighbors were lovely, friendly. The area around Sarah’s neighborhood was perfect for long walks and she had plenty of trail maps in her place to help with the navigation. This was Sarah’s first go at using TH and as far as we are concerned as sitters, she got it just right. We most strongly recommend Sarah and her situation if you’re looking for a few days in a green setting with excellent access to the city features of Basel.
What a great sit. We had such a lovely two weeks looking after the most adorable two golden retrievers Ollie and Louie who won our hearts and an amazing cat Winnie. From the moment we arrived the night before the sit Rebecca and Gilad and family were so warm and lovely. The dogs and cat are best friends quite amazing. With loved Ericeira there is so much to explore. Short walk to beach and old town and so many restaurants and cafe’s. We would highly recommend this sit and hope to do it again one day if we are back in Portugal. Look forward to catching up with our Ericeria family in the future ☀️
Lovely sit! I met Jill before she left and she gave me clear and detailed instructions, then she has been available all throughout the sit for any questions and communications. The flat is modern, tastefully decorated, full of light and extremely tidy. I could work very well there. Gus and Sally are a lot of fun to be around. Like Tom and Jerry, they fight, then play, then hug, then become partners in crime to open cupboards. Sally is confident and likes to sleep in bed close to her human and under the duvet (which is super cute!). Gus needs some time to build trust, but once he trusts you he will lower his head with the perfect inclination for you to stroke it (which is super cute!). They share a passion for food (theirs, yours, no matter what, as long as it smells delicious) and they are both early risers. I recommend this sit to any cat lovers looking for two entertaining flatmates who will give you a lot of love.
Alec is a great pet parent! Sitting with Fran was easy breezy. Everything from the communication about the lockbox, to the clean towels left out for me. the apartment is cute and easy to care for. Great neighborhood. Lots of stairs! Fran is a doll and loves her feather on a stick. She has an automatic feeder so it’s super easy to sit with
We had a wonderful time looking after Floz and Jack in the charming town of Milton-under-Wychwood. Vicki and Casper were very open and generous with their house, and were communicative on their vacation. We loved exploring the beautiful small towns and countryside of the Cotswolds. Jack and Floz were very easy to care for, a very sweet dog and cat! All in all, this was one of our most favorite sits!
