I just realized that the review of my first cat sitting at Nicolay & Marleen's house was not published! I had the pleasure to be the cat sitter for Nicolay & Marleen and their 2 wonderful kittens Igor & Sascha in the small town of Ontinyent, located in the serene interior of the Valencia region, surrounded by enchanting forests and vibrant orange fields. From the moment I arrived, it was evident that the homeowners were not only kind and welcoming but also socially integrated within the local community, adding a sense of warmth and authenticity to my experience. The house itself is a traditional Spanish finca, full of charm and character. It is apparent their talent for gardening, as the surroundings were adorned with beautiful roses, geraniums, and bougainvilleas. Taking care of the two young and active cats was great fun. Igor, with his mesmerizing blue eyes and caramel-coloured fur, is a true beauty. Sascha, on the other hand, initially seemed a bit shy, but it didn't take long for him to capture my heart. Gradually, he felt comfortable and began seeking affection, ultimately ending up sleeping on my lap and purring contentedly from the second evening onward. Observing Igor and Sasha's interactions was a source of constant amusement. Like two playful little brothers, they would chase each other, running around, and engaging in acrobatic jumps. Overall, my cat sitting experience in the small town of Ontinyent was filled with laughter, warmth, and an appreciation for the beauty of the house and the kind hospitality of Nicolay & Marleen and their neirboroughs.
What a wonderful sit with three adorable kitties. Karyn was very helpful and explained everything before they left. Communication before and while sitting was perfect. They were also very kind to allow me to stay an extra night as they were going to be home late. In regards to the location, the property itself is beautiful and very peaceful. The town of Hamilton is short 10 min drive away and I enjoyed visiting when I needed to. The three cats each have their own personality and kept me entertained the entire time. I do hope that it will work out to be able to sit for this lovely family again!
We absolutely LOVED looking after Molly and Ned in Haslemere. Thank you Richard and Sally for your hospitality, great communication and the opportunity to sit your beautiful pets and house. Molly is a wonderful natured dog, exceptionally well behaved, loves cuddles, walks but also knows how to rest! Ned has been a wonderful little companion who loves to sleep, cuddle and eat! We loved the many many different forests around just a short drive away and spending time in the incredible garden. We would be very happy to look after Molly and Ned again and highly recommend it to anyone looking to pet sit in Haslemere!
He pasado 8 días muy buenos en casa de Tami y Lucas con Huma e India. Son hermosas, quieren mimos y también dormir, mucho! O quizás yo dormí mucho y ellas me acompañaron jaja. Como sea, la hemos pasado muy bien. Es verdad que hay que tener un poco de fuerza a veces para contener a India en sus paseos, pero más allá de eso, se portan muy bien! No toman absolutamente nada del piso de la casa ni de la mesa, y hacen compañía todo el tiempo. El departamento es hermoso, con todo lo que puedas necesitar y más! Mucho aire puro, sol y verde en las cercanías. Parece lejos del centro de Madrid pero no, el bus que pasa por la puerta te deja en menos de 30 minutos a pasos de El Retiro (casi mejor que el Metro). Con los chicos he tenido una muy buena comunicación y todo ha ido super. Gracias por la confianza!!
Caring for Whiskey and Denver was a delight and a breeze: a bit shy at first, but always well behaved and well trained. Chanel explained everything and prepared me for what to expect and was always easy to reach before and during the sit. The home was beautiful and Chanel had prepared the house for my arrival with a helpful information package. Chanel even helped me find local restaurants! I would gladly sit for Whiskey and Denver again.
