I absolutely LOVED this house sit! Irene has been very understanding, sweet and communicative throughout. Unfortunately, we weren't able to meet in person but this is something I'd really like to do in the future, if I get the chance to house sit for her again. That'd be great. When I arrived, everything was clean and ready for me. The room was fantastic and had lots of space to put my belongings. The area is very quiet and safe. This made me feel at home straight away. The cats and the bunnies... Well, they were the best company I could have asked for while working and enjoying a bit of TV on the couch. Terrence, the fluffiest Siamese ever, followed me everywhere. He even slept on the bed and made the most delicious biscuits every morning. Now that I think about it, I think he wanted to hint it was time for me to feed them breakfast. I'm not sure! :P Bones, the sweetest, most talkative cat I've ever met, always napped next to my chair in the dining area while I was working. He really enjoys human company and meows whenever he has something to say. Ginger has the craziest, most amazing fur ever! He's a bit shyer than Merlin, who always tried to steal the food I had prepared them before I could even put the plate on the floor. As you can see, they are simply ADORABLE! Together, "the bunch" and I spent two weeks I'll never forget. They've given me so much love and made me laugh that it was only natural that I wanted to spoil them with lots of love and attention. I miss them so so much. I would definitely recommend this house sit to anyone who loves animals and who wants to find peace in a wonderful environment. Thank you Irene + family for everything!
This sit is simply as good as it gets! Kit is the most hospital host you’ll ever meet. Incredibly kind, easy to communicate with, and made sure I was super comfortable and well fed. Baci is the sweetest most huggable dog. Super laid back indoors and ready to have fun outside either playing in the yard or going on a hike. You’ll miss her when you leave. Awesome spacious house with a comfortable heated bed, huge kitchen, Great entertainment syrem, and a hot tub. The area is filled with nice neighborhoods, green rolling hills, and tons of hiking spots. I highly recommend staying here if you get the chance.
What a fab house/cat sit! Such a beautiful house and location with the most amazing views. The silence of being in the countryside is just wonderful. The perfect place to enjoy peace and tranquillity. It was lovely to get to know Franceska and John very briefly when I arrived on the morning of their departure, and I felt fully confident about the sit before they left. I was given very detailed information, both written and verbal, about the cats and their needs, as well as instructions for general house and garden care. Franceska was also readily available to respond to any query I may have had via WhatsApp. I really enjoyed getting to know the delightful pussycats, Chooey, Mitsos and Sox. Each had their own special personality and they were all equally vocal when being petted, groomed or fed, which I took as a sign of appreciation! Thank you Franceska and John for the opportunity. I would thoroughly recommend this sit.
I truly enjoyed sitting Buddha, he’s such a great pet and very easy to look after. Lisa’s house is very clean and cozy, with a beautiful backyard and close to the ocean. Communication with Lisa and Alan was very easy, they’re very nice people. Would absolutely recommend to future sitters.
Deborah’s home is lovely and the dogs are great fun and wonderful company. The area is so pleasant, with lots of walks, bike rides and pubs nearby. What also must be tried is The Forge coffee shop in the village.
Maybe, they are the cutest fur babies I have ever cared for. Reggie and Jughead were always looking for affection so we played a lot. Jellybean was less present the first few days but then he made it clear that he was the main one and I confessed him that he was my favorite 😉. I spent a lot of time at home so we played a lot. Margot and Kerrick has a beautiful house 💗. Thank you very much guys for the time I was able to spend at your home with those three perfect kittens!!! We really had fun together.
