We were so pleased that Charlie could house/dog sit for us while we attended our daughter's wedding. From the moment we met we knew she would fit in perfectly and that the dogs would be well cared for. When we returned from the weekend the house was immaculate and the dogs had clearly had a great time. She was also able to greet my Airbnb guests, which was really kind of her! So all in all, she comes very highly recommended and I hope she'll be able to house sit again one day.
This was my first house sit and Caroline and Mike made it was an excellent experience. Before the sit, someone changed the dates the couple would be away, and rather than cancel our plans they arranged for their son to meet me. Mazie is the sweetest little lady. She has these big eyes and a really soft nature. We spent many happy hours, me on my laptop, her snoring in her basket. She is no trouble at all to look after, she's an old girl who only needs short walks and lots of love. All her care needs were explained clearly. The house is, as other guests have mentioned, wonderfully clean. The guest bedroom is very comfortable. But Caroline and Mike are relaxed people, I wasn't micromanaged and it felt like they trusted me throughout. To top it off, the couple treated me to a parting gift, which was very appreciated. ;) I would definitely recommend this sit
This has to be one of my favourite house-sits, ever. Liz and Duncan are professionals with a well-appointed home in an unbeatable location, but are relaxed and welcoming. Their biggest concern is that their furry foursome of Siamese cats are well cared for, which is straightforward as the instructions are well laid out and the cats are sweet-natured and well-behaved. Each one has its own distinctive personality and the social play between them is fun to watch unfold. I highly recommend this house-sit and would happily repeat the experience.
Great sit! Dallis was great to work and communicate with and went above and beyond on being flexible with the dates for my schedule. The two pups are also enjoyable to be around. Energetic but chill when its time and easy to walk.
Staying in Kate's home was such a joy and delightful experience! She was a lovely host, fun to chat to, accommodating, welcoming and an excellent communicator. She left such clear and comprehensive instructions for the pets and home, which was so helpful to have during my stay, and made everything about the sit go smoothly. Her home was so clean, open and beautiful - decorated with personalised pieces of art, and was so peaceful and filled with only the sound of the birds outside, that I often delayed my day's plans in favour of slow mornings in her home (particularly the booknook!) Boo and Lolly are very sweet cats. I didn't see Boo much - she loved being upstairs - but Lolly warmed fairly quickly and enjoyed being around and having her back scratched, especially when I settled on the couch or in the booknook. Both were easy and lovely cats to care for. I really enjoyed my stay here and loved meeting Kate - definitely stay here if you have the opportunity! 😊
