Enjoyed a great pet sit at Jane and Jim’s home in the lovely historic Montford area in Asheville. We had a chance to meet before to go over all the details and Jane also had the info written out as well. The cats, Esther and Ricky, are easy to care for. Esther mostly kept to herself and I didn’t see a lot of her until mealtimes while Ricky wanted more attention and followed me wherever I went in the house. Great opportunity to stay in a neighborhood but walking distance to downtown Asheville.
My inaugural THS experience was perfect. First, Meghan is delightful, communicates quickly, and left me with every bit of information I needed. Her house inside and out should be in a magazine. And she did all the remodeling and decorating herself. The office is lovely to work in and the wi-fi is perfect. She has a fun cookbook selection too. Second, the location is wonderful. Close to museums and a coop (Which I happily took advantage of!!) and walking distance to Midtown Global Market, where I found both Moroccan and Venezuelan food - both are a bit unusual to find. Finally, those two fluff balls won me over within minutes and luckily I won them over in a few hours. Lucy is certainly her own individual and knows what she wants. Her cuteness made it difficult to resist the asks for additional food, yet letting her out certainly was key to keeping her happy and content. I hope I can sit again in warm weather to enjoy the lovely backyard and to watch Lucy take in her world. Lilu is the sweetest little thing ever. She clearly missed her mama, yet I was able to win her over by nestling into the cozy adorable nook upstairs. Plan to have a good book or something to watch while curled up on the loveseat. Lilu will find her way over and ask to be brushed. It is almost meditative to brush her. She will communicate when she is done and she will communicate when she wants more - I had stopped and she touched her paw to the brush to let me know she wanted more. Just go slow and gentle and you can work your way up to her belly and even brushing out the little mats in her coat. If you have a chance to visit Minneapolis, this sit will make it a perfect experience.
Killian is the best company you could ask for. He's absolutely adorable. After a few hours, he already warmed up to me and was super cuddly. It was awesome to wander around London and at a friend's BBQ party with him. He's super easy going and friendly with everyone. I'll miss having him around! Colleen is also great. She's super relaxed and communicating with her was quick and clear at all times. The location of her flat (Hoxton) makes this basically the perfect sit. I totally recommend :)
Samantha is a wonderful host! She communicated frequently and was easy to reach out to. I loved how she’d respond to pictures of the cats with stickers of them. She also left a bunch of snacks which was super sweet. The three kitties: Viví, Izumi, and Filho, have an admirable bond to each other and it was so easy to get a photo of the three of them since they often stuck together. In particular, Filho would sleep on my chest, which was too cute, and Viví would sleep next to me on her cat bed. Izumi loved to play with ribbons and would often sleep on the desk cat bed, keeping me company during online work. The fish enjoyed feeding times and I got some fun videos of the frogs doing flips. The house was clean, and the garden is lovely — the view of the Oakland hills was breathtaking. Overall incredible sit!
Cindy's place was immaculate and beautiful, it was such a joy to look after their horses Kodie and Toffee. The couple were easy to communicate with, appreciative and very relaxed. We were lucky enough to have some of their freshly grown herbs and lemons which were delicious.

I highly recommend Zoe to anyone looking for a dog walker. She is amazing with my Labrador and you’ve never seen a dog get so excited when she walks through the door!! I've had 2 sessions with Zoe to help train my 10 month old Staff x Mastiff puppy who is very high energy. After only 2 sessions, I'm seeing a massive improvement in my pups behaviour and Zoe has given me lots of tips and advice as well as obviously showing me ways to correct my pups wrong behaviour. (Issues with jumping up at people and pulling on the lead) I highly recommend booking Zoe in to help train your dog. She is absolutely fantastic, and so friendly. I was nervous before as haven't previously need a trainer for my other dogs, but she was so polite and cheerful and put me at ease. Thank you so so much for the help 💗
I contacted Zoe for some help training my puppy Mabel as I was very anxious about recall and letting her off the lead. Zoe was so helpful and reassuring to me which gave me much more confidence. After a few sessions with Zoe I was confidentially walking Mabel off lead and practicing recall daily. Zoe was always on hand whenever I needed some extra reassurance and has recently been back to help me teach Mabel to stop barking and other attention seeking behaviours in the house. I can’t recommend her enough she is very knowledgeable and clearly has a lot of experience working with all different types of dogs!
I can not recommend Zoe at May’s Doggy Days, more highly!! She has taught me so much about how to best train & work with our Golden doodle. Before Zoe started helping us, she did a tele consultation to ensure she understood our family dynamics, challenges, aims & lifestyle. She then arrived prepared & ready to get started. At our house, Zoe sees first hand what is going on & how I am handling it. She can then advise me, in the moment. I have also learnt so much from watching how Zoe trains our dog! Her ideas & methods work!!! They really do! She is realistic & practical & knows her stuff! You may ‘think’ you’ve understood a technique but having an expert observe & amend, is so valuable!! And would save ages in time & costs on a training course. I initially had some specific things I wanted help with but I soon realised just how much value she can add. The impact she has had, both on our puppy & on us, is amazing & I really can’t thank her and recommend her enough!!
Linda at Mays Doggy Days is fantastic. She walks our dog Nutmeg twice a week and Nutmeg adores her. Nutmeg also really enjoys spending time with her new doggy friends. Linda and Zoe are both very professional, trustworthy and experienced. They always ensure the dogs are getting the care and stimulation they need from their walks. Zoe is a lovely person who really cares about the dogs she walks. She is knowledgeable and professional and completely reliable. My labradoodle, Luna, absolutely adores her and is always super excited to go out with Zoe three days a week. Group walks are a great socialising opportunity too which is an additional benefit. We've had a couple of training sessions with Zoe and have found her knowledge, approach and professionalism to be excellent. We were looking for guidance for our very excitable yet anxious cockerpoo. Our first two sessions have focused on jumping when greeting and listening to commands and we have already found great improvements. From our first interaction and the detailed phonecall before we met, Zoe has asked specific questions and offered useful advise. Initially we were surprised with the charge for the introductory phonecall however it was extremely useful and meant Zoe started with the training the second she came into our home. Tomorrow we start with recall training and we are looking forward to it!
Zoe has been walking Flo our cockapoo for a few months now and is extremely professional, reliable and flexible as well as being very gentle and caring with Flo - would have no hesitation in recommending May’s Doggy Days.

We could not be happier with Emily. She watched our dog and brother in law's puppy for the night and brought them along to our wedding for photographs. Our dog is a part of our family and so having her at the wedding was incredibly important to us and so finding Emily was one of the best pieces of planning we did for the wedding. She was reliable and incredibly professional. We knew we were leaving the dogs in very safe hands. She left the house exactly as she found it after staying over. I 100% recommend her as an over night dog sitter as well as for weddings.
Our boys, Harley and Leo having been walked by various members of the Domino Pet Care team over the last 5 years. We use to have regular sessions for a couple of years and then circumstances changed for us and were able to have them down at our yard on a more regular basis. Since then, Emily and her team will be called upon for when we are away on holiday, long weekends or emergencies. We have been using Domino's Pet Care for the last two years and they have been terrific! They have proven to be reliable, flexible and very easy to contact. As a shift worker this has been very important and they have always managed to make arrangements for us. Our spaniel is a rescue dog, but Domino's were great with him and walked him with other suitable dogs. He obviously loves his walks and nothing will stop him running over and seeing Emily or Ian if we see them out and about. A great service all-round and one that I would recommend to anyone needing pet care
We have used Domino's petcare for 18 months and they took the best care of our dog. She is quite timid and requires extra attention, but this was no problem and they made us feel safe in the knowledge that she was being taken care of so we could return to the office! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dogwalker.
We had Emily look after our dog Bruce when we had our wedding reception. We usually rely on family to look after him if we’re away, but on this occasion we couldn’t. From the first contact Emily was friendly and was prompt at replying. The prices are very reasonable, even on a weekend. She had great communication and if we ever need a dog walker or sitter again we’ll definitely be using Domino’s Pet Care!

5 stars aren’t enough! Amazing care, knowledge and kindness from Kiffy, she really does care about the dogs she looks after, from the minute she meets them. Everyday is a doggy adventure, Bertie sits on the sofa looking out of the window waiting for her to pick him up! I don’t want Bertie to ever be looked after by anyone else (with the exception of Kiffy’s holiday cover) She is not only Bertie’s amazing daily dog carer i also consider her a valued friend.
Dijon, my 3 year old border collie, loves going to stay with Kiffy. I am so paranoid about leaving my pup but I always leave Dijon at Nola & Friends knowing Dijon is in the best care and is having an absolute ball! Kiffy is very communicative, active with the dogs and is very good at adapting to different dogs and their needs. Highly recommend and I myself am a regular client!
Kiffy is one of the very few we trust to look after our dogs. She is treating all dogs like her own and they are so loved when staying with her. Highly recommend her, there aren’t many trustworthy and transparent boarders out there. She is easy to communicate with and sends updates throughout the day. Our 11 yr old Bichon has been going to Nola & friends for over 3 yrs now & we haven't looked back. We feel so blessed to have Nola & friends in our life . Kathryn is absolutely amazing with our two dogs Frank and Olive. She clearly really cares and looks after all the dogs with love. Whether Kathryn has them for a day or a week we always feel completely at ease knowing they are with her and getting well looked after! Both dogs squeak with excitement when we turn the corner onto Kathryn’s road which always makes me smile because I know that means they don’t feel anxious about going to stay there one bit! They love all the cuddles and attention they can get when they’re there. We always get regular picture updates when they are staying which is lovely. Hugo has been going to Kiffy since January and I honestly couldn’t recommend her enough ! Hugo always has the best time going to a variety of new places, having lots of adventures and even working on training. Hugo has stayed with Kiffy for a week whilst I’ve been on holiday and I have never had to worry as he is truly treated like part of the family. Nola and Friends is truly brilliant!🤍
Ilse was a wonderful find. She’s absolutely marvelous with my elderly cat, who is scared of strangers. She is kind, thoughtful, completely reliable, easy to contact and has been very flexible. It’s a great relief to me to be able to go away, knowing that I don’t need to worry about the cat and Ilse stays in touch throughout. I can’t recommend her highly enough
We really appreciate the care that Ilse provides to our cats when we're away. She's very conscientious and checks up on the house at the same time too. Our cats can be a bit cold but this hasn't been a problem for Ilse, she's been lovely with them and great at keeping us updated too
Have recently used Thame Tails to care for my 2 cats whilst we were on holiday. Isla was very friendly, and visited us prior to our trip, to better understand our requirements. This was very reassuring and meant we could go away without worrying about whether our pets would be ok or not. Isla kept us updated whilst we were away and overall provided a very good service. I would use her again in the future.

Thank you Sonja, as you know we think you are amazing. Sonja has been walking Milo for around a year now. Unfortunately despite lots of socialisation as a pup Milo was bitten by one of his brothers whilst playing and after this he became anxious, reactive and frustrated around other dogs. We worked for ages on his behaviour with training techniques and although we were getting somewhere, walks and trips out as a family were still very stressful. Then along came Sonja! Sonja has worked really hard with our gorgeous boy on her walks with him and he is now a completely changed dog. Not only has this changed things for Milo but it has also enriched our life as a family as we are now able to take him out to parks, the woods, etc with us without the fear of stress. We have followed Sonja’s advice and guidance on his separation anxiety too and that also has really really helped. I would reccomend Sonja for any training needs, she has a wealth of knowledge and understanding but more importantly gets to know you and your beloved pets which is super important when trying to alter behaviours that can often be deep seeded. We look forward to continuing to work with Sonja to continue to make the precious years we have with Milo as calm and stress free as possible. X
We have been utilising Sonja and A&S Pet Services for almost 5 years! This was initially to look after our 2 chinchillas when we went on holiday and then we added 2 cats to the mix! Now we rely on Sonja for any and all overnight stays whether that's still for a holiday, a quick visit to friends or a longer work contract elsewhere in the country. Sonja is very reliable, quick to respond to communications, looks after the animals excellently, sends us updates/texts/pics, and is always clean and tidy. In fact whenever we return we're sure our fur babies would prefer to keep having Sonja rather than have us come back!!! We would not hesitate to recommend A&S Pet Services for all your pet support needs!
My two girls who Sonia walks every day, they wait by the window with wagging tails for her to arrive, they get really excited because she is so good with them, I would highly recommend her for your four legged friends and other animals that she tends to.
Sonja has been walking my little Bichon for what must be over 5 years now and I could not recommend her highly enough. My dog is getting older now and doesn't always want her 30 minute walk anymore so Sonja plays games with her in our garden or in the house and ensures she has had some play time (and a cuddle) whether its a walk or by other means. She has been very helpful with us on advise with Molly too for different things - a very trustworthy, kind, knowledgeable lady and I would highly recommend A&S Dog Walking & Pet Services.
Sonja has looked after our Cat many times in the last few years since we moved to the area, and she has given us great peace of mind while we have been away. Our Cat is quiet nervous with new people, but he is happy under Sonja’s care. Highly recommended.

Totally unreliable.Over a period of time I have now sent 4 messages through different means (including the website contact page) enquiring about dog boarding and all of my messages have been ignored. No empathy was offered when I mentioned that one of my dogs had recently died from cancer! It was ignored. I would have appreciated some response even if it was to say that “no boarding is available , sorry to hear about your dog.” I would not want to leave my dog with someone who lacks empathy and professionalism. Doesn’t deserve the business
Honestly, Vicky is THE sole best person to have look after your dog, whether for the day or overnight. Her love for all things dogs is undeniable and you can see that from the great care she gives whilst still offer competitive pricing. Our dog Wilson loves her and the walks so much he just wishes he got to spend more time with the 'The Dog Mumma'. Highly recommend!!

Nina was so helpful when had to take a last minute trip. She came, fed and looked after my cat Wilson like he was her own, he enjoyed lots of cuddles. Nina even sent me updates on how he was doing while I was away. Really quick at responding and flexible. Highly recommend her to anyone with an animal they love. She is now dog walking for my mum. After 4 months of using We Love Pets to look after our new puppy, it is the right time to write an informed review. Nina has looked after our puppy Micky from June and has proven herself to be reliable, trustworthy and passionate in her love for animals. Nina has a wealth of experience and has enabled us to own a lovely well trained pet. Nina knows the puppies limitations and what situations are positive and negative for him and always puts safety first. Nina has always managed our expectations and we value her input. Nina is key holder to our home and is considered part of the family, we have a well trained and cared for bull dog and we thank Nina for all her hard work and her genuine love for him as much as we do. Micky adores Nina and we feel very grateful to have her.
