Kimberly was FANTASTIC - highly recommend! She was caring and communicative and took fantastic care of our house and cat - what more could we ask? We look forward to having her in our home again!!
This is a very easy, low maintenance sit. I was able to meet Michael before he left to show me the routine. The house was very clean, comfortable and has a great back porch to relax on. River is mostly an outside dog and very easy to take care of. He has a lot of energy and is very hyper, but really sweet. Since he’s young he was a bit mouthy, but it was easy enough to distract him with a toy. Overall, it was a relaxing sit and I’d definitely recommend it!
Melissa and Brian have a stunning home in a cul-de-sac, located in White Oaks, Cincinnati. Their home is clean, tidy and well-organized. It has all the appliances a house sitter could need and the shops are a short drive away. There is a great outdoor entertainment area that includes a state-of-the-art hot tub which has a variety of different functions. We particularly enjoyed having meals out on the wrap-around patio with a beautiful garden view. There are 7 chickens in the coop in the backyard. They deliver an endless supply of fresh eggs daily. What a treat. The fish in the basement will require feeding daily. Brian laid out their food for us in such a manner that made it really easy for us – Thank you. Then there is Opal and Reilly. Opal is a loving 5-year-old who takes her responsibilities very seriously – that being to teach Reilly to be a good boy. And he is such a happy good boy! Opal occasionally joins in on the daily play activities but it’s not really her thing. However, she loved the trips we took to the various dog parks. She also loves to go hiking. At night she sleeps on her chair outside the main bedroom or on her day bed and you don’t hear a peep from her all night. She is an amazingly loving girl who likes to cuddle up to you when watching TV in the evenings. Reilly, aka “Smilly Reilly”, on the other hand, cannot get enough of the play times at home. He will let you know what game he wants to play and for how long. Reilly also loved the various parks we visited but always stayed close to Opal. Apart from play time Reilly really enjoys his food. He gobbles it down as fast as possible and then sits watching Opal eat – who takes her time and savour each mouthful just like the princess that she is. Cincinnati itself has so many different attractions which are must-do’s however the Incline Public House is a must-visit. Melissa and Brian took us there for dinner on our first evening which was such a treat. The views from this “lookout “ are just amazing. Thanks, guys for being so thoughtful and generous. We also had use of Melissa’s car which enabled us to get around much easier and to take the puppies to different parks. Melissa and Brian, we cannot thank you enough for your great hospitality and generosity. We really enjoyed a stay in your beautiful home and the time spent with Opal and Reilly.
I had an amazing time caring for Kenzo and Dela in Bassins. They are both very affectionate animals and it was a pleasure to relax and spend time with them. Dela can be cheeky, as expected from a young Staffy, but is very well trained so there were no issues. Mark and Jeannine are great hosts and went to extra lengths to ensure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The area where they live has stunning (and very instagrammable) scenery. There are many great walks around, as well as easy access to other beautiful towns and landscapes.
We had a wonderful time looking after Amira the Labrador. Just a year and a half, she is a grown dog on the outside and still very much a puppy inside. She is playful and excited to do anything, yet also very well behaved around people and other dogs. The Jamison family are extremely nice, with a great home and location in a residential neighbourhood in close walking distance to shops and restaurants. We will always be happy to sit for them.
Boris is the snuggliest potato in all of the Netherlands! Don't believe us? See for yourself. The apartment is cozy, conveniently located, and makes for a delightful stay. Andrea was communicative, helpful, and clear (providing one of the most comprehensive manuals I have ever seen). Now to Boris, the star of the show. Boris will steal your heart! He loves showing off his neighborhood, and all of his favorite spots. Between his walks he will cozy up in whatever room you happen to be in to keep you company. I hope we get the chance to return to this sit and to Boris!
I loved my stay at Carole’s place in Bangkok. The place is well located, the house is very cozy and I felt like home. Papat is absolutely adorable! He is a cat that has been thru a lot, so he need a lot of love and good care. I was administrating his medicine for kidneys, he is very easy going with it. Also it was my first time dealing with an outdoor cat, not a problem at all. He has a tracker on his lead, everything very easy. Carole is very kind, received me with dinner and also a sweet cake. Thank you so much and I hope our paths cross again!
